id seem almost like a wedding planner at times: getting contact info for our other vendors so she could confirm details for us, going above and beyond facilitating during the event, and walking us through the flow of the evening in detail. We were never left guessing with Jodi; she has a very comprehensive system of getting you exactly what you want, even if you personally don't know what that is at the start. The resources she provided in the planning process were invaluable. Above and beyond that, Jodi was such a delight to work with and is a fun human!

i worked with us for an entire year leading up to the date itself, helping us plan and prepare for our reception. Jodi's attention to detail and organizational skills are superb. She appreciated our vision for a non-traditional reception and had great ideas that helped make our night seamless and stress-free. She worked with all of our other vendors and was responsible for a really cohesive vision for the night. My husband and I felt zero stress going into the night knowing that Jodi had taken care to map out the night so that we could sit back and enjoy it. The reception itself was DJ'd by Hennah and Lauren, who I cannot recommend enough. Lauren was the MC for the night and kept everything flowing, from the speeches and toasts to the quick change between our cocktail hour and main reception. She also kept my husband and I in the loop between segments so we knew when to speak and what sort of things to say. She has a great calm demeanor that put us at ease, and though she made periodic announcements when needed, she and Hennah did a great job of withdrawing to the background so the music could be the focus and the guests could enjoy the night. Hennah was our incredible DJ. Each part of our night had the perfect music to accompany it, with lowkey indie/alternative music during our cocktail hour, softer R&B and pop music during the dinner portion, and then the perfect dance songs later in the night. Hennah is really great at reading a crowd and knowing what sort of music to play to draw them out and keep them enjoying themselves while still taking into account the couple's preferences. There was not a single song choice that fell flat. Hennah had no trouble getting guests to dance, and almost all of our guests ended up on the dance floor for most of the night, something I'd never seen at a wedding before. We had so much fun dancing that guests were chanting for an encore after the final song, which Hennah generously gave us. All of our vendors were amazing, but I have no doubt that working with DJE was what made our night the blast it was. Without Jodi, Lauren, and Hennah, the experience would've been altogether different. Afterward, multiple guests reached out to say that Hennah and Lauren were the best DJs at any wedding they'd ever been to, and among my friends and family we still, 5 months later, regularly talk about how great they were. I'm so grateful to DJs Jodi, Hennah, and Lauren for helping to create the most fun and amazing experience. Booking DJE for our event was the single best decision we made. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks for everything Jodi, Hennah, and Lauren. You guys are incredible!

n our wedding day. She perfectly curated a playlist that included all of our favorite songs, while also reading the energy of the crowd and keeping the dancing going all night long. We had people aged 19-88 on the dance floor until the last song played, and even then it was hard to get everyone off the dance floor. She absolutely nailed every part of the night and made sure everything flowed flawlessly. We are so happy that we chose her to be a part of our wedding and couldn’t imagine the night without her.

Jodi helped us think through strategies to create conditions for a robust dance floor, and then kept everyone dancing for most of the night with amazing song choices. We highly recommend her!

Jodi did all of that and more - after I sent her a much bigger than planned song list, we collaborated together on what ended up becoming a pumped-up, fun wedding playlist. We never saw the dance floor empty for too long! Jodi also took some time with me during the wedding to share when she would play some of mine and my husband's favorite tracks, taking the temperature of the room to maximize the moment. She is truly methodical and careful about her work - I couldn't have trusted our wedding party in better hands. Immense thanks to Jodi - I will never think of my husband's favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles song in the same way again.

She takes ownership of the process end to end by reaching out to our venue, our officiant and our photographer to make sure everyone was on the same page about the agenda and timing of events so it all flowed smoothly. We never once worried about the sound during the ceremony and she was on point 100% in microphones for toasts etc. As for the actual reception - what a party! The music was awesome and heard frequently from our guests that they they had a hard time leaving the dance floor because the next great song would come on. Everyone was there to celebrate with us and we danced the night away until closing time. Our guests still talk about what a great time they had even now months later and how it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. DJ Jodi played a big role in that and we are forever thankful to her for it. Can't wait to see her again sometime soon!
