As much as we loved our photos and the special moments she captured of us (and her ability to adapt to any lighting and make the colors look perfect)! She also captured so many special moments and candids of our friends and family. Erin found touching moments between my husband's grandparents, and caught the exact moment a group entire broke out laughing. She and her second photographer (in this case Emily, who was also great) were very willing to capture group shots at the reception as well. Also, I should mention she is very responsive and her turnaround getting the photos back to us was unheard of. After months and/or years of planning and care and hard work that goes into a wedding, those involved leave at the end of the night with wonderful memories and photographs. Every couple wants someone they can trust, and you can trust Erin completely.

ime up last minute and we finished before getting caught in the rain. Erin was very responsive via email and phone, and was able to get our photos back to us sooner than expected. Erin was able to help us relax during the session and give good direction for poses, and the pictures came out incredible! Erin does a lot of B&Ws, but also sent the color copies which we loved! The pictures are very natural and not overly edited. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with her!

onals. Erin made sure to talk to us before the wedding so that we could ensure that we got all of the shots we wanted from our day, and they made sure that they got them. My husband and I are not what I'd call comfortable in front of the camera. We were nervous to take photos and we kept asking ourselves, "how are we going to take couples photos for a full hour?!" Well, the time flew by. Erin and Emily had us laughing the whole time and made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. Honestly, I forgot that they were even there half the time! When it came time to take friend and family photos, Erin and Emily managed to keep us on track with timing while also helping us to have a blast while doing so. We had to shift our photo schedule around a little due to some people being missing, and they didn't even bat an eye. I can't recommend Erin enough as a photographer. We picked her because we could tell that she takes excellent photos from her portfolio, but her personality really confirmed that she was the right choice. We're so excited to get our photos and we know that they will be perfect.

the posed photos to have a variety of poses and for the couple to look relaxed and comfortable. I wanted a photographer who would stay for the whole wedding and not leave when the cake was cut. I wanted classic photos that were framable, not artsy shots. I wanted real colors that would be true to the day (as opposed to the current light and airy trend). I wanted to get along easily with our photographer since she would be around us the whole day. And I didn't want to overpay. Erin was that unicorn who met each criterion and then some. We asked to do our engagement session at the Tidal Basin during the Cherry Blossoms, and Erin was extremely knowledgable about the permit process, timing, and where to get the best shots. She was great at directing us to get the best pose, but not so directing that we weren't natural. We felt at ease around her, and it showed in the photos. She was great about noticing if I had a hair out of place, too! Because we opted to not get a videographer, we wanted the set of photos to tell the whole story of the day. And they do. They are so wonderful, and we are so happy with them. We have the one for the big frame narrowed down to about 25--there are so many great shots it's difficult to choose! It was pouring rain the day we got married, but she easily adapted our initial outdoor photo plan to indoor/covered areas. She wasn't in any of the shots of the ceremony that our guests took, yet she managed to get perfect action shots of us and our bridal party. In fact, I don't really remember seeing her once the reception started until we did the sparkler exit-- but she was there capturing so many wonderful moments that I would have otherwise missed. And she was able to give us a preview of about 100 photos TWO DAYS after our wedding! It was such a wonderful honeymoon surprise! The entire set took a little longer-- I think a month? But it was within the timeframe she had promised to us. It's very easy to order prints or albums through her portal. She is incredibly organized, thoughtful, and obviously a very talented photographer. I would (and have!) recommend her to everyone, and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

ures! They are stunning. The compliments we've received on our pictures from strangers to photo-hobbyists is a testament to Erin's amazing talent. Truly, one picture is better than the next. We love them all. Finally, working with Erin on our album was the easiest collaboration. She was incredibly patient as we tweaked this and that. nning of email Erin, James and I finally sat down on Sunday morning and looked at the gallery over coffee. (It was soooo hard waiting until then:)). No surprise--the pictures are amazing and they are everything we wanted. I mean, the day of was challenging, given the weather and . . . other stuff. I can't speak for James, but I had a hard time even thinking about it all during our honeymoon and the weeks following. I wanted to forget so much of what had happened. But thank God for your pics. Once I saw the sneak peek, I felt like a new person. I remember James watching me scroll through and saying, "Great, I finally have my girl back. . . " :). I couldn't stop looking at the pictures and knowing for sure I had made an outstanding choice. Really, you worked so hard to make everything special--moving rugs out the way, running around outside in the rain to get a shot of the house, and being around when no one else was there in the waiting room with me (where were they?????). I'm not just gassing you when I say you were our favorite vendor :). Erin, you just went above and beyond to make our pictures classic, elegant, fun, and timeless. Your pictures are art. iewed with all five photographers. While everyone had great personalities, Erin's professionalism, questions, responses, and overall attitude was by far superior to any others. My husband and I knew from the beginning that we really didn't have a choice. We had to choose Erin. And, wow, did that pay off. Feeling confident in your photographer makes the whole wedding planning experience 100 times better. It's the one thing that you know lasts beyond the big day. Erin made this choice easy. After our first discussion, we chose her and within a month we had a date for our engagement photos. That day was changed twice due to weather, with NO penalization by Erin. Thats right, on the mornings when we woke up with rain, Erin immediately emailed us to reschedule. Fast forward to the day of our engagement session, we showed up late and frantic, but that didn't matter. Erin did her magic on our photos and made them look like she had captured the shots as the sun rose up. It was unbelievable. The photographs are breathtaking. Then, we had the long eight month wait to the day of. Again, I cannot stress enough how important it is to be confident in your photographer. It made it much more exciting that our big day would be preserved in the best possible way. On the day of, Erin, along with her assistant Emily (WHO IS FREAKING AWESOME TOO!) promptly arrived to the bridal suite and immediately began pictures. My six bridesmaids and big family can be quite overwhelming, but both Erin and Emily handled them so well. We ran behind at the bridal suite because I was taking too long to get ready, but no big deal. Erin was able to adjust the schedule, on the go, and we were still able to get everything in. Literally everything my husband and I had asked for, they got. I had said from the beginning that I wanted her to capture my husbands reaction when I was walking down the aisle (we did not opt for a first look). She caught him crying (which I never thought I'd see the day). She also caught the beautiful photos of my bridesmaids and I walking in. She was running up and down the stairs to ensure she got pictures not only from the ground floor, but also from above.Then, at one point during dinner, she came running up to me because a rainbow had appeared outside. We were actually able to capture my husband and I outside with the rainbow in the background. Then during the dancing and speeches, Erin captured the most beautiful pictures of our family and friends having the best time. At the end of the night, I was actually sad to say goodbye to Erin and Emily. They made the night so much more special than I really could not have predicted. They brought such great attitudes and gave us so much comfort, even when we were frantically scrambling to get things accomplished. Just to reiterate, theses photographs are amazing. I have friends from all over sharing them on facebook and asking for her number. I am so happy I will have these forever. Erin, you truly made our wedding so incredibly special. Keenan and I are so happy we picked you. Truly one of our best decisions. Thank you so so so much!!!

or both of us. 1. The photos were bomb. First of all, both of us (my now husband and I) are extremely UNphotogenic (lol, but seriously). When we received our photos, we assumed that, like, 3 of them would look good. This is pretty much what's happened with every other photo shoot we've ever tried. This was NOT the case. First of all, we looked awesome in SO MANY PHOTOS!!! It's, like, the first time that has ever happened. Seriously. 2. She captured the feeling. Erin captured the happiness and feeling of the day. I don't know how else to explain it, but in every single picture, it was really as if we were reliving our entire day and all of the ups and downs that went with it. Close family and friends who saw the photos recognized this IMMEDIATELY and we have received many comments that this was one of the best sets of photos people have seen. 3. She works REALLY hard. Erin SCRAMBLES the entire day. She was sprinting (in, like 90 degree heat, by the way) in front of us, behind us .... she even ran (yes, RAN) from one side of the resort to the other to capture the details of our cocktail reception so that we could take a 15-minute break in an AC'd room. I've literally never seen a photographer work as hard as Erin worked the ENTIRE day. 4. She has an incredible attention to detail. She was moving furniture, arranging accessories, re-situation paintings.... you name it. She has an incredible eye for symmetry and perspective, and there will be no photo or detail too small for her to attend to the smallest of detail. (Perfectionists, you'll approve of her.) 5. She'll capture your details. OK, brides. You are working SUPER hard on planning every micro-scopic detail of your wedding. Erin will capture every detail. When we got our photos back, I was so so so happy to be able to see every single detail that I'd planned, from the DIY frames, to the intricate place settings, to the hanging flowers. All of it was captured. 6. She's super like-able. Honestly, Erin is just chill to be around. She's super nice and genuine. Whoever you choose to be your photographer is going to be a fly on the wall, basically, for ALL of your moments. Talking smack about your friend's mom who said something horrific at rehearsal? She'll hear it. Having a beautiful moment with full ugly-cry face when you read your husband's wedding-day letter? Erin will be there with you. You're realistically choosing someone to be part of some of the most intimate and private moments of your life, so you should pick someone that you like. Thanks, Erin, for doing such an incredible job for us. It was SO SO SO worth it!!!!!!

My wife and I are so overwhelmed with joy with how unbelievably gorgeous the pictures are. Erin, you are a virtuoso! Then Erin made sure her guide for couples and thank you note were some of the first mail we received in our new apartment! So sweet! Next she made us so comfortable during engagement shoot (a feat for my photophobic husband!) and we were SO HAPPY with how our photos turned out. At some point along the way, my husband shared that one of his favorite things about Erin is her amazing communication – even if she didn’t have time to respond right away, she emailed us to make sure we knew she had gotten our email and would get back to us shortly! As we got closer to the big day, Erin patiently worked with us through several revisions of our timeline. And when the big day came, Erin and her assistant Emily did a great job of “capturing the moment” without inserting themselves in the moment. I honestly didn’t even notice they were there most of the time! They made sure we stayed on schedule and got the photos we wanted – and boy did they ever get the photos we wanted! We were so excited to get the first sneak peak photo, and then some more when she posted about our wedding on her blog. Then the day finally came for our full album reveal, and we couldn’t be happier. Our photos are wonderful and we are so thankful to Erin and Emily for capturing our special day so perfectly!!!
