out of her way to find a previous owner’s dress for my mom to try on, because when my mom knows what she wants she knows…. On my moms last alteration’s appointment, which was 2 weeks prior to the wedding, Skye was asking about all the final details and I broke down crying about my current wedding dress I had gotten elsewhere. She immediately told me to try on a dress that had just came into the store and I was thinking she was crazy, I mean I was getting married in TWO WEEKS!!! She was adamant on telling me that you have to love and feel comfortable in your dress and that she was going to help me find that. I put that dress on and just KNEW it was meant for me, I fell in love and never wanted to take it off, it made me feel like a princess and in that moment I’ll never forget the feelings that came over me, the feelings a bride is suppose to have when she finds the dress of her dreams and Skye ordered it that day, came in within 2 days and ended up fitting perfectly. Skye goes above and beyond for you to make sure you feel like the most beautiful bride on your one and only wedding day! I could not be more thankful and more obsessed with my dress.

Skye went out of her way, truly above and beyond and located the dress for me, had me come in to try on, and I fell in love with it! My daughter ordered a dress at a different boutique and when it came in she just wasn’t happy with it, they tried to alter it into what she wanted and it just wasn’t possible. She cried at every fitting, my heart broke every time! My daughter came to one of my fittings and was talking to Skye about her current dress situation, mind you her wedding now was two weeks away! Skye had her try on a dress and she absolutely fell in love! The tears, the smile, the glow will be etched in our memories and hearts forever. Skye made my daughter feel like the most beautiful bride in the world and she was just that! Skye is so talented on so many levels and is very caring and giving. She is so brilliant at what she does and the entire experience was nothing less then top notch! outstanding. I had previously visited more than 6 other bridal shops & unfortunately none of them had any styles that I liked, I almost gave up. I tried one last place, House of Couture Designs, so happy I did!!! As soon as I stepped into House of Couture & looked around, I knew the experience would be different as well as the dresses they were selling. Although I did not have an appointment, stylist Alex warmly greeted me. Let me tell you..their selection of dresses is absolutely stunning! Skye, the owner picks out her inventory and boy does she have an eye for fashion! One dress was prettier than the next. After having visited so many other bridal shops, Alex was by far the best consultant. She was thoughtful and sincere in her feedback on the dresses that I tried on & not pushy at all. Some dresses I liked, but she kindly pointed out things that I didn’t think of and steered me in the right direction to find the perfect dress. The owner Skye completed my alterations & did a fabulous job. She graciously worked with my tight time frame. I can’t thank both Alex and Skye enough for their help in finding me an absolutely gorgeous Step-Mom of the bride dress. Thank you both!

In fact, both my mother I ended up saying “yes to the dress” in our very first visit (her dress being mother of the bride which they have gorgeous options for)!!! Her alterations are meticulously performed and as a result my gown is not only stunning but fits me like a glove. I would recommend this bridal salon and Skye to anyone looking for her perfect dress. (Oh and the complementary Prosecco is an added plus ;)

You just feel like you’re somewhere really special, and that’s because you ARE. Places like this don’t even exist anymore. Skye (and Grace) welcomed me, and I soon felt like I had known her forever as she helped me to navigate through her great selection of MOB dresses. (She also has a lovely collection of wedding dresses.) She is an AMAZING person…kind, warm, and truly genuine….and an EXPERT in her field. I felt like she a a good friend helping me to find a perfect dress and not a bridal consultant hoping to make a sale. Skye is also a seamstress (with terrific reviews), and I am excited that she will be altering my dress for my daughter’s September wedding. oo big even though I informed them that I JUST had a baby six weeks prior. Regardless - it led me to Skye! She was prompt and responsive - she got me in quickly once my dress arrived. She showed me everything that she would do, broke down the price, and even did additional work at a later fitting. Not to mention, her shop is gorgeous and she is fun and honest. I wish I would have shopped in her store for my dress and everything else. I actually came back to Skye for a bridesmaid dress alteration because I think not only is she an incredible seamstress and hard-working person, but she is very transparent with her pricing and she is fair! I hope she is okay with me and my little boy just popping into visit when we are in Sewickley once my need for alterations is over! Would pick Skye over and over again!! She is the BEST!

g anyone for anything other than advice, and Skye direct messaged me. She asked if I had a dress and if I needed help with alterations on it because she could definitely help. And she did! 6 months after offering to help and after I had to cancel last minute once due to another hospitalization, I met up with Skye to look at my dress. She added straps to it so I wouldn’t struggle to keep it up since I walk with a cane. She added a bustle so I didn’t trip over my train after the ceremony. She was extremely easy to talk to and work with, even with all my issues she never even blinked. She’s an amazing person and I hope everyone gets to experience what I did when I went to her shop!
