Kylan Barn

My husband, Taylor, and I had an wonderful wedding day at The Kylan Barn. We got married on a Saturday, 8/6/22 and for the heat of the summer, it was a beautiful day. The grounds and wooded ceremony space were absolutely magical. It had torrentially rained the day before, but we were still able to have our ceremony in the woods. Kyle was very reassuring that things would dry out in time and he was right! It was spectacular and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. The barn was gorgeous for the reception, but very hot. Kyle, our coordinator, and the team from Mission BBQ, were excellent working in the venue together. I would highly recommend this venue and it is absolutely beautiful, but be aware that it is open air and even with AC it’s hot in the summertime. Our last moment of the night, the photographer and videographer had already left, but Taylor and I had not put our lock on the bridge yet, so Kyle offered to take photos for us. It was wonderful!

Absolutely gorgeous setting. They were able to accommodate my rainy wedding day. The Day of Coordinator, Mikayla, was absolutely essential in making my big day run so smoothly. Their contract was very clear and they were always willing to clarify any questions I had.

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Kylan Barn. The venue is gorgeous on its own, but is also somewhat of a blank slate, meaning you are free to transform it to whatever best fits your personality, style, and budget. With so many options for ceremony location and reception layout, the possibilities are endless. Kyle was so nice and easy to work with, especially when the pandemic caused us to reschedule (twice). I also have to give a shout out to the bartenders they provided, who were awesome! Overall, Kylan Barn is definitely a hidden gem close to the DE and MD beaches.

Kylan Barn is a DREAM venue, owned and operated by the best team. I didn’t realize I’d spend nearly 3 years working with them due to postponing our wedding because of Covid, but it was so worth the wait and they were so helpful during such an unprecedented time. This past weekend my husband and I finally tied the knot and Kyle, Mikayla and Laura knocked every detail out of the park. The venue itself is beautiful but the amazing, helpful, and extremely attentive staff set this venue apart. Every guest was amazed by how magical the woods ceremony was, and the beautiful property full of ponds, twinkle lights, and the amazing sunset made for the most romantic pictures. The second we first toured this venue we knew we’d get married here, and it was truly everything we had hoped for.

I've always pictured my wedding day and every single detail that would go into it! I had always imagined getting married in a beautiful barn and giving my wedding that rustic vibe -- Kylan Barn fit that image PERFECTLY! On the first day we met with Rachel to tour the venue, we left and immediately knew this was the venue for us and they did not disappoint. They were extremely responsive and worked with us on everything from layout and vendors to day of schedule, and everything in between. They made everything effortless and gave us one less thing to worry about. The barn itself is beautiful and comes with these white drapes and lights wrapped around the poles, giving a rustic venue an elegant touch. The grounds themselves were absolutely beautiful and well groomed. The bridal suite is the perfect space for you and your bridal party to get ready. It fit all of us perfectly, including our hair and make-up team. The best part is that it's attached to the venue so you're already there! You can even spy on your guests as they start to arrive. The airstream is the perfect spot for the groomsmen to hang out at, play some corn hole, drink some beers, and even take photos at. They had a gravel walkway with string lights leading to it on the other side of the parking lot. We hired Rachel as our day of coordinator and are SO GLAD we did. She is absolutely amazing and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring her if you don't have a wedding coordinator. We worked with her to make sure the layout was perfect and all of our decorations where in the right spots. She provided us with useful suggestions and made planning a breeze. Rachel was able to handle all of the logistics with the vendors including their time of arrival and their set up beforehand and took care of them when they arrived on scene, allowing me to get ready and be worry-free. She handled all of my requests the day of, making sure that everything was perfect -- she even brought my husband and I food/drinks during our photos (which happened during cocktail hour) and managed the golf cart to take us around the grounds! Did I mention she is an ABSOLUTE gem to work with? Our guests can't stop talking about Kylan Barn and we can't either! It was the perfect setting to say "I Do" and celebrate our marriage. We highly recommend this hidden gem in Delmar!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Kylan Barn. They were so helpful with planning a wedding during a pandemic. The location is beautiful and we loved getting to choose our own vendors. Our guests had great things to say about the space as well!

I’m not even sure where to begin. Having our wedding at Kylan Barn was an absolute dream. The venue speaks for itself now, but when Timothy and I first decided on having our wedding at Kylan Barn, it wasn’t even built yet, we had to put our faith in Kyle that he would see out his vision… and that he did. Kylan Barn far surpassed what we had envisioned for our wedding venue. Kyle and his staff were so amazing to work with through the entire planning process. Anytime I had a question about a vision I had in mind about décor or what seating layout would work best Kyle was more than willing to work with me. For me, the best part about Kylan Barn was how completely customizable it was. No matter what style you prefer you can turn Kylan Barn into just that. You just need to use your imagination and be a little creative! Our wedding day was beautiful rain and all, the venue was absolutely gorgeous, and the sunset… breathtaking. Timothy and I cannot thank you enough Kyle! Thank you for seeing out your vision and making our wedding day our BEST DAY EVER!

My husband and I got married on June 23rd, 2018 at Kylan Barn and it was such a great experience! We booked the barn over a year in advance for our wedding while it was still being built. Kyle & Christy were extremely prompt and professional with answering all of my questions via email or phone throughout the year leading up. They were both extremely flexible when it came to payments and whenever we wanted to come see the barn when we were in town, one of them were available to be at the property. The wedding itself at the barn was unforgettable. We had 165 guests and there was plenty of room. It truly was a party that went all night long and I would suggest this venue to anyone. So many options for the ceremony and such scenic views.

I came from out of town and was blown away by the staff and the venue. Sara and Blake had the first woods wedding and it was absolutely magical! The lighting, the reception, the bridal suite, everything was drop dead gorgeous. When we didn't have enough tables, they were quick to the solve the problem of grabbing more tables and chairs without being asked! They truly helped make this day one to never forget.

Thank you so so much to Christy, Kyle and Kylan Barn for making Chris and I’s day one that we will never forget. Last year, we went looking for a wedding venue and my mom had heard about the Kylan Barn being built so we decided to check it out. When we went to go look at the venue it still had a lot of work to be done but Kyle showed me his vision and I decided to trust him. I’m so glad I did because it was all that I could ask for and more. I loved that I was able to be creative with the venue and could make it my own from having my wedding ceremony outside, an ice cream truck, taking pictures on a boat and so much more. We will never forget the wonderful day that we had and thank you guys so so much for making an unforgettable day for us 😊

We loved the barn and outdoor areas! Everything is beautiful. Also loved working with Christy and Kyle, they were so friendly and helpful.
