Mary is the Wedding Invitation Whisperer! Beautiful person, beautiful work.

I found Mary on the Knot. I was drawn to her work for its uniqueness and customization. I met with Mary and brought a swatch of our bridesmaid dresses and she matched the envelopes and my style to them perfectly. She delivered our invites in perfect timing and recommended that we don't send Save the Dates to save money which was appreciated. Her work is beautiful! The only thing that was tough was we had to drive to her boutique which was an hour away for us-we made a few Saturdays out of the trip but think she should look into mailing the invites! All in all beautiful work!

She designed and printed all of our invitations, stationary and signage for our 10/6/18 tropical destination wedding. When we first met with Mary she took the time to sit down with us and brainstorm ideas. We gave her a few suggestions at which point she pulled various samples to see what we liked and disliked. Mary offered us creative ideas and helpful suggestions which allowed us to pinpoint exactly what we were looking for. Mary was super easy to communicate with and always responded to our requests and revisions in a timely manor. She is very sweet and really cares about her work. After our initial meeting, Mary provided us with a complete design board which brought our ideas to life. After a few minor revisions we had what we had dreamed of right before our eyes. After ordering our initial wedding suites which were comprised of an invitation, rsvp card, additional info card, itinerary and envelopes we decided to have Simply B create the remainder of our wedding stationary. By the time our wedding arrived Mary had designed and printed our place cards, welcome bag handouts and even acrylic table numbers. Each and every piece matched the next which we loved. Our guests raved how gorgeous our invitations were. We cannot say enough great things about Mary Barnhart and Simply B Prints!

Simply B was our favorite vendor of the whole wedding! At first I wasn’t overly excited for the invitations and stationary piece of the wedding but we went to Mary’s open house and it was actually really cool. She showed us tons of examples from past couples and had every color and design you could possibly imagine. It was fun to be able to physically pick through the papers and stamps and ribbons. It’s something that you just can’t get a feel for or really see when designing online. She was also SO sweet and kind and you could tell she really loves what she does which is rare. She spent so much time making sure we were happy with our choices and was always there to offer advice and guidance when needed. Simply B is simply the best!!

I would like to say that working with Simply b in Newburyport for my daughter’s wedding was one of the easiest steps in our planning process. Mary listened to our thoughts, colors and ideas and somehow worked her magic to create a wedding invitation that included rose gold fonts, lined envelopes and a wax seal, it was beyond impressive. She also created the menus, seating cards along with the most amazing acrylic table numbers. I can’t thank Mary enough for the ease of this process that resulted in an invitation with coordinating accessories that were perfect!

My husband and I were a little nervous going into our first meeting with Mary – we knew our wedding invitation would be our guests’ first peek into our wedding day, so we wanted to make it shine. I can't begin to express how happy I am with my wedding invitations. They are the most beautiful piece of mail I have ever seen and I am more in love with them than I even anticipated. I had gotten Mary's information from a fellow bride who had raved about her. I tried her out first for my save the dates, just to make sure we vibed and had a good experience. I told Mary over email what I wanted for the save the dates and she sent me a design that was exactly what I wanted. The design, quality of the paper, fonts, and coloring Mary used were all perfect. I still have my save the date on display and got multiple texts from friends and family commenting on what great quality they were. When it was time to purchase invitations, I knew exactly where to go! I brought my mom with me to look at invitations. As soon as we walked into Mary's office, we knew we were in good hands. The entire space is so beautiful and well put together which matches Mary's personality. Before the appointment, Mary had me fill out a questionnaire to get a better idea of our style as well as the overall theme and vibe we wanted for our day. She pulled out some options that she thought I would like and it was hard to pick because each piece of paper she showed me was prettier than the one before. However, one of the designs was my absolute favorite. We worked on customizing it so it fit EXACTLY what I was looking for. I went back and forth on the font I wanted probably 15 times, and each time Mary was so patient , sweet, and eager to help me find one I truly loved. I could tell she really cared about making me happy. She is so good at the little details that really help the invitation stand out (like foiling specific parts of the paper, or adding a different color RSVP envelope so we could tie the entire invitation suite to our colors). I wanted something that was dressy enough for our black-tie wedding, but unique and truly different and Mary really did deliver. Plus, I knew that working with Mary that I didn't need to worry about a thing - I was never stressed throughout the entire process with her. To be totally honest, I never thought I would really care this much about invitations. But as I saw the suite come together, it is honestly one of my favorite pieces of our wedding. I am beyond thrilled with the final product and cannot wait to send these to my guests. Mary was fantastic to work with for my wedding invitations. I met with her first in person at her adorable little studio, and instantly could tell that she understood the vibe I was going for, and what I was looking for, for my custom invitations. she created several mock-ups for me, and then changed things and worked with me until It was perfect! I was very particular about grammatical formatting and wording and Mary was right up there with me on the invitation etiquette. she also was respectful of my budget which I really appreciated. I also really loved being able to support her and her small local business! I would recommend Mary in a heart beat! I referred her to my sister who is using her for her upcoming wedding as well!

It was so fun working with Mary on our invitations and paper goods suite! She is extremely responsive, creative, and detailed. She captured our vision beautifully and stuck with me through multiple revisions/tiny grammatical updates that only I would ever notice. We loved our classy, nautical invites and paper goods!

Mary's work is SIMPLY outstanding. I worked with her on a special design of my daughter's bridal shower invitation. The invitation art work was a custom watercolor that included the bride and bridegroom and was created by the groom's sister, a professional artist. Mary worked handily with the artist to ensure that the artwork would be re-created on lovely invitation stock. From that point, Mary and I worked together. Mary designed a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind bridal shower invitation and chose ideal paper stock for both the invitation and envelope. Mary picked out a soft accent color from the watercolor for the invitation's envelope, then brilliantly recommended that the envelope liner be a reprint of a portion of the watercolor. The liner was hancut. The visual impact was stunning and unique. That invitation's envelope was placed inside a larger envelope for the address. You first opened the large envelope (with your name and address) on it to find the second, unsealed envelope containing the invitation. That second envelope opened to expose a gorgeous watercolor liner, and the matching invitation. Beautiful! Some people have told me they are framing the invitation! Mary is so easy to work with and listens to your every wish. She is an artiste. I highly recommend her.

I can not say enough good things about Mary or her business.
