I don't remember noticing them at all during the ceremony and reception, but when I got my photos back, they proved they had bent over backwards to be in all the right spots at the right times, and THEN some!! They move with graceful efficiency and a respectful attitude toward the important event, while understanding the equal importance of location, location, location! Sarah and Ben show a contagious joy and excitement toward their work; it's impossible not to enjoy working with them. They truly make an effort to get to know their clients in order to provide photographs reflective of each individual. But after following Sarah's work for awhile, I'm fairly certain I could recognize a photo taken by her. Her work with film photography is exquisite and unique. She is so careful with every setting and situation, showing her mastery of the art, and the proof is in the product!! I had heard horror stories of brides liking only half or less of the photos from their wedding - I can honestly say I loved every single one Sarah took. I was terribly ill with the flu on my wedding day - I'm not sure how I made it through. I told Sarah that it was all the more important she was there to capture every moment, as I probably would not remember most of it. She came through with both compassion and determination and I'm so thankful for her vision that put beautiful memories of that special day into my hands forever. Thank you, Taken by Sarah!!!!!!

to get the pictures they want of their special day. Despite my attempts to resolve these issues, Sarah has been completely unapologetic and unconcerned with making things right. My biggest issue was Sarah’s disregard for the written list of family photos that she agreed to beforehand. I stressed to her the importance of following the list (due to sensitive family situations) and how imperative it was that certain people not be in pictures together and that she call out the list the way it was written. On the wedding day, she disregarded our list, so not only did we did not get the pictures that we asked for, but there were tense and uncomfortable situations between my husband’s divorced parents. When I told her that this was not the correct list, her excuse was, “It’s basically the same,” though it was not. When Sarah sent a proof of the album, she used every one of the incorrect family photos and refused to acknowledge her errors and said that switching five pictures was the limit. Additionally, I asked Sarah not to take pictures while I was getting dressed because her contract states that she can use any pictures she takes for whatever purpose she chooses. However, mere minutes later, she started taking pictures of me getting dressed. Despite my repeated requests for her to stop, she did not stop taking pictures until my bridesmaids demanded that she stop. When I noticed that we did not receive these pictures, I asked her for them and asked her to delete her copies, but she insists that I have all the pictures and has not told me where these pictures are or if she has deleted them. So not only do I have no control over how she uses these pictures of me getting dressed, I do not even know what pictures she has.
