I absolutely loved working with Ivy to help plan our wedding. She provided great support and input throughout the planning process and was extremely organized. She also and knew all of our vendors well which streamlined a good amount of the final planning process. Finally, our wedding party and parents loved her enthusiasm through the rehearsal and wedding which made the day even more special. Ivy's team provides excellent quality and service to make your wedding the best day!

Ivy was great. She was very thorough and supportive. Her knowledge and experience helped everything run smoothly. Our wedding party appreciated her straight forward approach. Ivy was great! She provided helpful auto-generated timelines to ensure I was on track and a full listing of recommended vendors for all services. She recommended my caterer, Waiters Choice who turned out to be an excellent choice. She responded to my late texts and was very calm and understanding with my floor plan change. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend.

Ivy and her team were wonderful! One of our mothers has significant mobility issues and the Silk Veil team made sure to look after and assist her at every step of the way throughout the night. We also had a rowdy bridal party that Ivy was able to whip into shape during rehearsal all while keeping things light. She checked on us at throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed, but otherwise just made sure things were running smoothly without us knowing or having to know what was going on around us. We were so pleased and would highly recommend the Silk Veil team!

Ivy is an absolute rockstar. We hired her to be our day of coordinator and she was absolutely terrific to work with. She ensured that our wedding ran very smoothly and on time and coordinated with our other vendors and our venue with very minimal direction needed from us that day. Our ceremony started promptly and flowed exactly as we wanted it to. During our reception, she kept my husband and I on schedule and made sure that we stuck to the timeline that we created. We lost track of time and never went to the photo booth and before they left, she came to us to remind us that they were leaving if we wanted to use it. For those that are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, I strongly urge you to hire one (and to hire Ivy). On the day of your wedding, you do not want to be dealing with putting out fires and making sure everything is running smoothly. I also did not want to trust a family or friend to do it. Hiring Ivy and her team for my day of coordinator was the absolute best decision I could have made. I did not have to worry about one single thing. Throughout the planning process, it was quickly apparent how fine a detail this whole team pays, and everything is done with excellence. Ivy, like the poisonous Vine, what can I say…..I show appreciation more from a financial standpoint. I don’t do all the mushy, sentimental stuff. It’s not me….. but I can not go a day longer without telling you how much you impressed me with your professionalism, courtesy, firmness, instruction, directness, caring attitude, confidence, listening ear, helpfulness, clarity, leadership, attentiveness to detail and so many other words that I could use to tell you what you meant to our wedding. First and foremost - I received just as many compliments on my wedding day about Ivy as I did on how beautiful I looked as a bride. I received compliments from every single vendor and guest about how organized and responsive she was as well as how smoothly the day went. I had people at the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel telling me this was the most well-planned wedding they had ever seen! When I hired Ivy, I had just started planning, and I called her to find out how her wedding packages worked. I was surprised she answered on the first ring, and jumped right into answering my questions about her services, but also offered me some wedding planning advice - free of charge, no strings attached! I should have known from that moment on that I had picked the perfect wedding coordinator and designer. Honestly, if it wasn't for Ivy and her wonderful assistant, Sharolyn, I don't think I would have gotten through the planning, design and coordination of this day. Are you a DIY ..... independent... I don’t need help type of Bride? Used to organizing and handling large events yourself? Wondering if it’s truly worth it? Well I can tell you that was me until I hired Ivy at the Silk Veil Events by Ivy. Her service was exceptional from start to finish! She helped me think about things I hadn’t even considered. She was so professional, helpful and honest. She was everything and more than I knew I ever needed for a Day of Coordinator. Looking back... I should have hired her from the very beginning. We truly enjoyed working with Ivy on our wedding day. Due to the Covid virus, we had to make some changes. Ivy was so punctual and got us through our special day with what we were able to do. From the very beginning, Ivy was very personable and dependable. Even before we made the decision to book the silk veil, Ivy dedicated time to meet with us as well as communicated frequently to provide venue options. We found our venue from her recommendations. I was aware that Ivy may or may not be our day of coordinator from the start but was still very nervous when we found out that she would send one of her other coordinators to take care of our big day. Ivy arranged a meeting for my fiancé and I to meet our coordinator, Lisa. On our big day, Lisa was FANTASTIC. She was everything we didn’t know we needed! Lisa is like an angel on earth. Just the presence of her calmed me. She was very organized and made sure our day was beyond perfect. Ivy was one of the first vendors I booked. She was recommended to me by a mutual friend for day of coordination. Leading up to the event Ivy was super responsive with communication and always answered my questions in a timely manner. The day of the wedding she proved to be crucial when we had some transportation issues Uptown with the busy Pride weekend. I am not sure what I would have done without her to smooth out that issue. These are the types of situations where having a DOC is crucial and Ivy was on POINT the entire day/night!

Ivy is THE BEST! She's on point! All I can say our wedding ran so smoothly. It was perfect in our eyes. Even if there were any issues, we were not aware of it cause Ivy was running the show. We used Ivy as our month of coordinator and I am so glad we did! From the very first phone call (we were based in California so our first meetings were over the phone), we could tell that she was highly experienced and knew what she was doing. Furthermore, when we told our vendors that we were using Ivy, they all said how much they loved her (our florist, photographer, videographer, venue and caterer all said amazing things about her when they heard we were working with her). This made us feel even more comfortable with our decision. On the day of, she had everything set up nicely for us and made sure we stayed on time. Ivy did an awesome job from start to finish. I hired her a year out from my wedding and she guided me through the whole wedding planning process. She gave me advice, met with me several times and was professional the whole time. The day of the wedding, Ivy was on her A-Game! Several of my guests asked where I had found her and many stated that they were impressed with how she was doing. Ivy was a dream to work with. From day one of meeting her, we knew she was who we wanted to work with. She was organized, knowledgeable, fun and REAL. Prior to the wedding, she had excellent communication and gave us advice on everything from how to seat our parents at the ceremony to how much time we needed for each part of the day. She kept reminding us that it was OUR day and that we were never going to please everyone, which we certainly needed to hear. At the wedding itself, she was our saving grace. She kept us on schedule, adjusted when necessary and was quick to get her hands dirty (bringing us plates of food for dinner, catering to our grandparents, and even delivering trays of water). From reviewing contracts, to keeping within your budget, to reminding me of the little things we tend to forget, to bringing me back in from potentially spending unnecessary money. For me, communication was important – no question was ever a dumb question. Ivy took the time to make everything make sense, and/or why something would not work. There was not a time that I could not reach her, even times, I reached out to her after "normal" (11PM) hours not expecting a reply, she replied. Everyone told me, do not worry something always goes wrong on wedding day, but I beg to differ. My wedding day was beyond words. It was all that I dreamed and more. My husband and I was so amazed at the work the team did, it brought us to tears. My entire wedding party, including my Pastor raved about Ivy’s professionalism, attention to detail, her ability to organize and execute, and keep everyone on point. I had been to seven weddings prior to own, and grateful to have had the opportunity to have Ivy execute my wedding. She is definitely a Godsend with a gift/talent that many lack. I cannot even begin to say enough about how OUTSTANDING Ivy was!!!!!!! I booked her around August 2016 and our wedding was November 2017- from start to finish Ivy was wonderful. She was VERY detailed & organized which I absolutely loved, without her I would've forgotten so many details, and all of those little details made our day absolutely perfect thanks to Ivy. So I've talked about how great the planning process was but how she was the day of still has me speechless- she was more AMAZING than I could've imagined for the day of and truly went above & beyond to make our day SO perfect. I brought a TON of DIY decor & she set everything up so I didn't have to worry about at ALL the day of (from a photo booth, cigar bar, tons of mason jars, table cards, bar area, various pictures scattered, etc.). She gave all of my vendors a tour of the venue & guided them where to be & when. Right after the ceremony when we were taking pictures she even made sure the caterers came over to us (bridal party & family) to bring us appetizers & drinks, I was blown away. If anything didn't work out at the wedding or something happened, I didn't even know about it at all- Ivy literally did AMAZING, she kept everything so coordinated from start to finish and I am crazy about organization. Affordable price and worth every penny- If you book anyone other than Ivy, you are missing out & will be disappointed. Ivy was outstanding & I would book her again in a heartbeat!!!!!

My experience working with Ivy "Queen of Coordination" was truly a blessing. As an individual who is fairly organized and loves being in the details of things, initially I thought that I would plan my own wedding. I even went as far as buying a wedding certification course on Groupon (which I never took). Always knowing that I would need someone the day of to help me, I considered hiring a friend. EASY! I cannot remember the exact details that lead me to Ivy. However, I am sooooo grateful that our paths crossed. During our initial conversation (I remember it like yesterday) when I told her what my time constraints were with 4 hours to complete both the ceremony and reception, she explained what needed to happen and when to help me meet my allotted time. She explained elements of the event that I did not even think about it and stuff that I just didn't know to think about. After we got off the phone, I wanted to get her opinion of table center pieces that I had started to make myself. I sent her a picture through text and she candidly replied they were good for a party, but not the type of wedding that I described to her. She also told politely me they looked cheap :) I could only laugh because it was TRUE! I immediately responded "You're hired." Ivy is honest and fun. She understands and knows the wedding industry. She was able to recommend several vendors (all of which were AH-mazing!). During my wedding reception, she made sure my husband and I were taken care of and had "us" time to eat amongst a room full of people. She thought about our older guests and pregnant mothers to be allowed them to be served first. She made sure the wedding party knew exactly what to do. I have received so many compliments pertaining to the flow of my wedding day. Within the four hours, we were never rushed. Your wedding day is special. For any bride that will want to savor the moments of that special day without being stressed, hire Ivy. I was asked several times the weeks leading up to the wedding whether or not I needed help with anything. My answer was always "no, my wedding coordinator is taken care of it all." She allowed me to text and email whenever I wanted to. I know hands down, my wedding would not have been the same without Ivy. She I would hire her 1000X over! I partially feel like she is family! :- )

5 STAR WEDDING PLANNER/COORDINATOR! I hired Ivy for Month of Wedding Coordination and being the hard worker she is, she was involved in assisting me well before the month of ! I was also planning my wedding long distance and she made it so easy for me to work with her over the phone and through email. Ivy and her assistant Lisa executed my wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception flawlessly! I can't thank them enough for all that they did to ensure my day was perfect!

Could not have done the wedding and reception without her!!! If you think you don't need any help day of, you are wrong!!! Hire Ivy and you will not have any regrets!!!

Ivy and Lisa were so helpful in getting us prepared and organized for the wedding. I met with Ivy and Lisa several times, including a walk through and covered all the questions I hadn't even though to ask. I felt very comfortable with both of them, and confident that everything would go as planned. My stress level dropped every time we met! Lisa was my day-of coordinator and we got lots of compliments on the way that she kept things moving and responded to any issues that came up. I highly recommend!!

It was really awesome to work with Ivy at the Silk Veil. She has so much experience and really pulled everything together as our day-of coordinator. We couldn't have done it without her. She helped make our day perfect in our eyes! She is organized, thorough, and detail-oriented. There was nothing I would've changed about our day, including picking Ivy as our coordinator! Ivy was the BEST!! She is very professional, well organized, and really knows the ins and outs of everything wedding related. We had rain on our wedding day, so it threw a huge monkey wrench into how the day was planned to go. Where do I start? From the very first meeting with Ivy Honeycutt of The Silk Veil Events by Ivy, I was impressed. I knew right away that she was who I wanted as our wedding planner! Her knowledge and relationships with local vendors made the process easier and a lot less stressful! Ivy and her team are professional and very organized. The day of the wedding I did not have one worry in my mind - I knew that my day was in excellent hands. Ivy and her team executed a flawless day for me and my now husband.
