I hold a certification as a Wedding Planner and Wedding Consultant. I have an AA in Business and currently finishing my BA in Hospitality and Tourism. I am also a Travel Advisor meaning I can book your honeymoon or vacations as well. Twice a year, I host bridal shows under Charlotte Area Bridal Shows.

ike she was always there to help us. Throughout our 9 month wedding planning process, Ivy was amazing! She knows so many vendor contacts in Charlotte, NC and was always able to provide recommendations. In addition, Ivy was attentive, timely with responses and most importantly took the initiative and helped take stress away from us during the wedding planning process.
As for the day of the wedding, Ivy and her team were amazing! Just like with any wedding, there were certain things that went sideways or things that were behind schedule. Ivy and her team never brought those issues to us and simply jumped in and took care of it. That is the true value of a great wedding planner. I can't say enough about her ability to step in and most importantly do what is right!
Finally, I would like to say that Ivy's support did not end when the wedding finished. Post the wedding day, she has reached out multiple times to see how things were going and we truly appreciate that. I've been to quite a few Indian weddings in Charlotte, NC and I can definitively say based on my personal experience, Ivy is the best wedding planner in Charlotte and also the best and most knowledgeable wedding planner for South Asian Weddings.

When our wedding day arrived, she made sure to keep us at ease; the entire day was stress free for us. She kept us on schedule throughout the day and did an amazing job communicating with all of the vendors. Even with our last minute additions, she managed every detail with patience and efficiency. She never made us feel like our modest 100-guest wedding was any less a priority than the huge gorgeous elaborate events she also puts together. She also coordinated with all the vendors so everyone had a shared timeline and we did not have to manage that process one single bit.
On the day of, she and her associate took care of Every Single Thing. We did not lift a finger to set up or break down, just got married and danced the night away! She ensured our water and drink glasses were always full, literally fanned me when I was sweating on the dance floor, and got the DJ in line when he started dropping his tag over the music and blaring air horns weirdly often 🤣. She is a GEM and I wish she could plan my whole damn life for me.

I booked most of my vendors straight from her recommendations, and every one of them were outstanding. I adopted the “trust the professionals” outlook in planning, and especially with Ivy and her favorite vendors, I was in fantastic hands.
Ivy and her associates were masterful during the ceremony and reception. I was able to sit back and enjoy the experience while they handled anything and everything – including making sure my husband and I were taken care of during the reception! If anything went wrong, I had no idea and don’t care. She got us both where we needed to be when we needed to be there, made sure that we enjoyed ourselves on our wedding day, and I really could not ask for more! She took care of it all.

During our reception, she kept my husband and I on schedule and made sure that we stuck to the timeline that we created. We lost track of time and never went to the photo booth and before they left, she came to us to remind us that they were leaving if we wanted to use it. For those that are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, I strongly urge you to hire one (and to hire Ivy). On the day of your wedding, you do not want to be dealing with putting out fires and making sure everything is running smoothly. I also did not want to trust a family or friend to do it. I had people at the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel telling me this was the most well-planned wedding they had ever seen! When I hired Ivy, I had just started planning, and I called her to find out how her wedding packages worked. I was surprised she answered on the first ring, and jumped right into answering my questions about her services, but also offered me some wedding planning advice - free of charge, no strings attached! I should have known from that moment on that I had picked the perfect wedding coordinator and designer. Honestly, if it wasn't for Ivy and her wonderful assistant, Sharolyn, I don't think I would have gotten through the planning, design and coordination of this day. I got way more than I could have imagined working with Ivy - she was my advocate in negotiations, she was my eyes and ears when meeting with vendors, she was able to guide us through the event planning process using her wealth of knowledge and kind personality. She took my 30 person micro wedding just as seriously as she took other clients with three times the guest list. She is a professional. She knows what she's doing. On our big day, Lisa was FANTASTIC. She was everything we didn’t know we needed! Lisa is like an angel on earth. Just the presence of her calmed me. She made sure we had drinks when we wanted them and quiet time when we wanted that. She was absolutely amazing. I can’t imagine any coordinator doing a better job.

day of ideas, plans and expectations, my husband left saying, "I like Ivy, she knows what she's doing and she's going to be good!" And that she was! Ivy had everything organized and communicated with all of my vendors prior to the day and made me feel more relaxed. She really has a great way of making you feel calm while getting things done. Ivy has a great personality and is very easy to work with while also being able to step in and take control of any situation. She was definitely worth the investment and I have her to thank for the day running smoothly and everything being carried out how I envisioned! I highly recommend hiring Ivy as your coordinator!

She made a schedule for the day, contacted and made sure all vendors had a schedule as well. She runs a tight ship and I loved every minute of it!
