Shelby Wax is an experienced writer and editor based in Brooklyn, New York. She previously held roles as Senior Editor at Brides and Editor at Lonny Magazine and has written for publications including Vogue, Allure and Business of Home. A graduate of Scripps College, the California native loves writing about weddings, home design, entertainment, and the LGTBQIA+ community.
Experience
Shelby first discovered her love for journalism while writing at her high school and college newspapers. From there, she earned internships and developed her editorial skills at Los Angeles Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter and Martha Stewart Weddings, where she first forayed into the wedding world. After graduation, Shelby spent five years rising to the role of Editor at the home and interior design digital publication Lonny Magazine. She then returned to the wedding space as the Senior Editor of Brides, where she managed real weddings and trending stories. She now is a freelance writer with articles published in Vogue, Over the Moon, Allure and Business of Home.
Education
Shelby has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Scripps College in Claremont, California. She also graduated with a minor in Media Studies.
