Note: There is a fee for the license, if you do not live in South Africa, which varies depending upon the type of marriage certificate (abridged or unabridged); you can submit your South African marriage license application at the nearest South African Mission or Consulate; it could take up to 8 weeks to process your marriage license application (if unabridged)
