Their expert team of tailors will walk you through the fitting process, answering any questions you have and making sure everything is to your satisfaction. The store is open seven days a week for appointments. Advance Formal Wear offers tuxedos and suits for both purchase and rental. A wide range of styles are on offer, including classic and slim-cut suits. ther in law all looked so handsome. All the groomsmen were in a navy tux with black shoes, and our little guys were in a tux/suspenders with bow ties! My father in law was in a classic black tux. The only issues we had was he was trying to have one of my groomsmen get bigger size then he normally is and something snapped in one of our groomsman’s pants they were having issues with them the rest of the night!

about 4 sizes too small, and men’s warehouse had NO solution. I immediately called Kevin, the owner of Advance Formal Wear in Rockville Centre, and he was BEYOND helpful. Kevin kept his shop open late for me to give me enough time to get to him, and completely saved the day. He measured me, fit me, and altered the tux for me all within 35 minutes. The tuxedo I rented from him was a quality, top notch tux. I could not have been happier with the service Kevin provided and the attentiveness he showed. The tux felt great, looked great, and I was confident for my wedding the next day. Kevin was an absolute life saver. My only regret was not going to Advance Formal Wear from the start! Like I said, Kevin was professional, hardworking, and delivered an amazing product for a better price then men’s Wearhouse. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Advance Formal Wear of RVC for any event!

As the father of the bride I wanted to make sure I looked perfect! I started out at the chain where the groomsmen were fitted and was not satisfied with their style choice or fit....

I remembered the family owned shop that has been in RVC for years and walked in after my prior discouraging appointment and was immediately greeted by Kevin. In the midst of fitting another group of gentlemen for an upcoming birthday event he was able to size me an understand the look I was trying to rock!!!! I came in a few days before the wedding and tried everything on and aside from a minor sleeve adjustment my tux looked and fit amazingly. I got so many compliments on my attire and I’m so grateful for Kevin’s expert advise and opinion. Advance is the way to go!!!! Thanks Kevin.

size father of bride. We had out of staters, and even one groomsman from out of the country. The store hours were very flexible and we were even accommodated with an after hours pickup as well. All suits fit perfectly and the staff was spot on with alterations that were needed. Great experience !

This is by far the absolute worst tuxedo place! I went to them for my own wedding after having fantastic experiences with them in the past. I don't know what happend to this place...

. When I went in, I explained that I had a few groomsmen that were on the larger side. The owner said no problem. Not only were there multiple problems with the larger gentleman, but they couldn't even properly accommodate my ring bearer and my 9 year old nephew. They need to change protocol and not tell people they can accommodate all sizes if they clearly cannot. Normally, I do not like to give bad reviews, but they made my life a living hell. Not cool. Stay away.

dealt with me being a little nuts about matching the bridesmaid dresses to the vests and coming in five times to check the colors. They took measurements over the phone for our of state groomsmen and tailored them the day of the wedding to make the fit perfect. We shopped around to get the best price for our friends and family, and these guys did better than even the big chain stores. Plus all of the personal service and invaluable educating they provided for us (my husband didn't know a pleated pant from a flat). Definitely rent or buy from them. You'll get what you need and establish a lifetime relationship with a local business.
