Alex was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. The quality of her photos and work are unmatched. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and learn what we were looking for from her, and then helped to build the timeline for the day based around what pictures and memories we wanted captured. Alex and her team were also very communicative and easily answered any questions I had in a timely manner. Throughout the wedding day Alex helped to keep our timeline moving, and was extremely knowledgeable about which photos to take, where to take them, and when to take them. She was also able to expertly direct and pose myself, the wedding party, and our families while doing group shots. Alex also was able to send us a few sneak peeks after both our engagement session and wedding so we were able to have a few professional photos to share with friends and family as we waited for the entire gallery to become available. I would highly recommend Alex as a photographer for anyone needing a wedding photographer or a photographer for any big event.

The photos that Alex took were absolutely incredible! Our wedding was at a historic mansion, we wanted photos that both artistically highlighted the architecture and were also intimate. Alex nailed it. She was wonderful to work with the day of and was easy to communicate with before hand. All of our guests loved her - we've had so many people reach out after the wedding asking for her contact information.

I can’t say enough good things about Alex!! Choosing someone to capture such a personal day can be overwhelming, but as soon as I came across Alex’s work on Instagram I knew she was it for us! I called Alex a magician because she really knows how to get those magical, one-of-a-kind shots. She has a unique style that comes through in her work, and really learns who you are as a couple and works with your vibe, while still getting all the classics. We did our engagement shoot with Alex which was a fun way to get to know each other - we took them in our neighborhood & at a local bar and we love them! Our wedding day forecast was questionable and Alex stayed flexible, kept us on schedule and managed to get all the shots in before the downpour! She captured the intimate moments and the dance floor ragers, and even pulled us outside for some special rainy night time pics. She's communicative & quick to get you sneak peeks! She’s a true pro, and these pictures mean so much to us.

Alex is not only an absolutely incredible photographer but also a wonderful human being. I had my engagement photos and weddings photos done by her. Within 24 hours both times Alex provided sneak peeks and I don't know how she does it. She captures beautiful candid moments but isn't afraid to show you exactly how to pose for the camera. We've been getting endless compliments on our photos saying it's the best wedding photos they've ever seen. Our wedding party and anyone who interacted with Alex directly have said that she was so funny, efficient, and quick. I cannot recommend her enough and truly you would not regret booking her.

Alex was great to work with! She is excellent at finding and capturing the light that makes for magical photos. She works quickly and efficiently - makes taking large family/friend group photos a breeze...this is coming from a wedding with an 18 person bridal party plus family. She took all the classic bridal photos that one would want, plus artistic masterpieces that we can't wait to hang on our wall. She was very natural with directing us in different poses - nothing felt awkward. She would let you know if your hair was out of place or hands looked awkward - every shot looks like it could be out of a magazine. Lastly, she got our sneak peaks to us by the next day! Overall, we are so grateful Alex was our photographer. All our friends and family rave about our wedding photos.

If I could give a MILLION stars I would. My fiancé and I had been following Alex for a few years, and we absolutely love her work. We hired her for a destination wedding in St. Lucia, and with her partner April we have the most beautiful pictures. Both ladies we’re so welcoming, made both of us feel SO comfortable and we truly got the most amazing photos of our wedding day. We’re so thankful & would 110% recommend Alex for your special day!!

Alex is amazing. The photos are absolutely stunning for sure. There's drama and there's tender. There's laughter and tears. She captured every moment with such dedication and care. But let's take a second to talk about Alex as well. I know we wouldn't have gotten here without her attitude and professionalism. As someone who is extremely camera-shy, she and April helped me feel at ease with the entire process. Their encouragement and cheerleading brought so much joy to the wedding and our bridal party loved them. They made sure to capture every moment we wanted, as well as helped stage some of the most inventive and creative shots I had never even thought of. She gets sneak peeks to you immediately, and I had been waiting in anticipation for the full album and it does not disappoint. Her use of color is beautiful and vibrant without being oversaturated. We cannot say enough good things about Alex! We are obsessed with her photos, and so are all of our wedding guests. She captured everything from more traditional family portraits to some absolutely magical couple portraits and plenty of incredible candid, reaction, and detail shots that help us relive the day. Alex was also a pleasure to work with! She was very organized, and her enthusiasm through the night kept the good vibes going. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, with gentle cueing when necessary to get the best possible shot.

Book Alex, and don't hesitate...here's why. Alex was the first vendor I booked because hands down, I wanted some amazing photos from our wedding. The photos that people actually wanted to look at, not just some cookie cutter photos. And I knew, without a doubt, no matter the weather on our day, we would have some gorgeous, artistic, jaw-dropping photos because she's that.damn.good. Fast-forward to our wedding day and we had some rain at our NYE wedding (it's New England so I'm just glad it wasn't a blizzard...) and I knew when I woke up that morning we would still have amazing photos. We trusted her when she asked if we'd be ok getting out in the rain (with umbrella in hand) and we sure did. The photos are magical and I am a firm believer that Alex is the ONLY one who could have pulled that off. We also had portraits with family, candid moments, too, and each and every one is a keeper, no lie. If you're wondering if you should have her there for "getting ready" photos YES, do it, they were some of my favorites. If you're going to invest on anything for your wedding day, invest in your photographer's talent, expertise, and personality. She and her assistant were WONDERFUL to be around always offering to do anything to help us on the day (she even bustled my dress...come on now, who does that?) I'm also in the creative field having been a Producer for over 15 years so I've seen a LOT of photographers, and I didn't even look at anyone else when I booked Alex. Do it. You'll have these photos forever and you can't put a price on that. She's brilliant.

We saw Alex work her magic at a different wedding in 2018 and we knew we had to have her photograph our wedding. Alex and her team are warm, gracious, and organized. They are professionals who care about their clients. Alex listened to our vision, gave us advice, and helped make our dreams come true. She and her team were an integral part of our day and we are so fortunate to have her capture all the special moments. WE CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. Alex we love you, thank you for everything! My husband Matt and I hired Alex for our wedding on October 21st and it was honestly the best experience and day of our lives. Alex and her associate made the day as relaxing and chill as it could be. Every picture that was taken felt effortless and not forced. Alex is amazing!! We first met Alex at my cousins wedding and loved her energy and her photos so much that we knew we needed her for our wedding! I don’t have the words to describe the beauty of the pictures Alex took. She captured every moment of our wedding in a way that allowed for a natural flow. Alex was by far my favorite vendor I hired for my wedding. She did such a fantastic job capturing the day. She will take traditional photos as well as fun creative photos that not ever bride has. She truly is a special photographer and has mastered her craft.

If you are having a major life event and you are in need of a photographer, stop your search and don’t bother looking anywhere else. After seeing Alexsandra’s work, I knew I didn’t want any other photographer for my Wedding. From the moment I expressed interest in booking her, even until today, she does not disappoint. She has her process down to a science, every detail is so well thought out it is such a seemless experience working with her. She has the most calm, warm demeanor, she immediately helps you feel comfortable. Rushing to try and get ready on my wedding day was a frenzy, my mother came in to my dressing room demanding my hairstylists attention and a touch up, Alexsandra could see I was starting to get upset, she immediately sprung into action recognizing I needed a moment and ushered me to another room to get me some space. She was extremely thoughtful and thorough, she looked up all my requested poses in advance and made sure she captured them. My husband had recently lost his mother, and we had ways in which we were honoring during the wedding, it became emotionally difficult for my father in law at one point, but turned into a very heartfelt and emotional moment for the family prior to me walking down the isle, and she captured that moment so tastefully, my husband was so grateful. Alexsandra is so incredibly talented, but she is also such an absolute pleasure to work with, she helped make our day even more magical. Every photo so far has come our amazingly, she has provided us so many sneak peak photos (started to provide them less then 24 hours after the wedding) and we got married only a month ago. I am so grateful to have been able to have her as our wedding photographer that I even booked her for a boudoir photoshoot! I honestly can’t say enough about how happy we were with our experience, she is an absolute gem!

If you are looking for a photographer, LOOK NO FURTHER! Alex photographed my now husband and I's engagement photos in March '22 and wedding photos in May '22 and to say we are beyond thrilled is an understatement. She is a true artist that creates works of art that you would be so proud to either display on your wall, post on social media or print in an album for years to come. Not only did Alex confirm our decision to book our wedding venue based on an album of a wedding she photographed at our venue but she exceeded our expectations in every step of the process. From our initial 'get to know you' call to the day that we met her in person for our engagement photos, she and her team member Kayleigh were extremely helpful, responsive, clear and upfront about next steps and what to expect leading into your big day. About a month out from our wedding she shared an extremely thorough survey that we reviewed over the phone together about a week prior to the wedding. As with every step of the process, this survey helps to ensure that Alex can not only gets to know you as a couple (to understand what is important to you) but to make sure she captures everything your heart desires so you don't have to worry about a thing when the wedding day arrives. On our wedding day, she arrived promptly and brought a wonderful second photographer April who was a perfect compliment to Alex. They both made everyone feel extremely comfortable and Alex did not skip a beat with capturing every photo and scenario that we listed in the survey and discussed over the phone (AND a whole lot more). After our wedding day she edited photos STRAIGHT away so we had gorgeous professional photos to post on social media. We were thrilled to receive larger sneak peak a few weeks later and all photos shortly thereafter. We could not have been happier with how smooth everything went and how our pictures came out -- we would truly recommend Alex to anyone!

Choosing Alexsandra was always a given. She is, by far, one of the best photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with-- and when I was planning my wedding (as a photographer myself) I chose the date around her availability. She is talented, professional, calming when you need it and the BEST hype woman out there. Absolutely the best!

I discovered Alex years prior to my wedding through "the industry," I am a photographer too. I have admired her work and find it truly creative and inspiring. When I got engaged, she was the first vendor I contacted regarding her availability and we were lucky to have chosen a venue who's only available Saturday aligned with her calendar. I call Alex the photographer's wedding photographer because she has earned the trust of her community through consistently delivering epic creative images as well as "traditional" portraits for mom/grandma. Through her work, she is raising the bar for the industry. Every time I look at my wedding photos I discover a new favorite picture. Alex & Victoria captured a candid moments so perfectly I can feel what it was like when they happened all over again. And the portraits, oh all of the portraits are stunning. Picturing my wedding day, I thought we would have this grand view of the white mountains, but the weather had different plans. This did not affect Alex for a moment, she was a total trooper in the rain creating photos I couldn't have dreamed of. If I had to do it all again, Alex would still be the first person I'd call. She should be your first call too.

Choosing Alex as our photographer was a horrible mistake! I would highly advise you to not hire Alex if you are looking for any sort of professionalism, attention to detail, or responsive and timeliness. From complaining that she had to walk up stairs at my venue, to sitting with her feet up during my reception, I couldn't have been more appalled. Alex and her second shooter, Todd’s professionalism was non existent. He even told my Husband and I that he needed a joint! In front of my parents! Not once did she take the time to bend to straighten my train or fix my veil. In getting back our photos, I could not choose one full length as my train was bunched in each. I have never once seen a photographer not try to ensure that this is taken care of. As if the couple examples I gave above don’t alarm you (and i could keep going, but I am limited on characters!) actually receiving our album was an absolute nightmare as well! After months of missed deadlines (which Alex gave herself) she sent over our albums first draft with the number of photos she had told us to chose. Though an album was included in our package, with this draft also came an $1100 invoice for all of the add ons she included, NONE of which we asked for. After yet again months of lack of response and you guessed it more missed self appointed deadlines, our album was finally complete. After being told it was mailed to us, we never received the album. When we questioned this she made up some story that she was sure it was delivered and we needed to sign an affidavit to ensure we are telling the truth! We just trusted her with the most special day of our life and paid her thousands of dollars yet she thinks we are lying ?! This was what completely put me over the edge. I came home to my husband, and broke down into tears. He asked if he could take over this ordeal, and he ultimately got Alex to make us another album since we never received ours, and we then had to drive to Portsmouth to pick it up. You obviously do not know going into it that you're going to deal with so much aggravation. At the end of the day, I honestly wish we had chosen a different photographer. I honestly hope people read this review. I would not want anyone to deal with what we went through on the most special day of our lives. The photographer, in our opinion, is one of the most important people on the day of your wedding. They are supposed to capture the moments that are shared with all of your loved ones, friends, family, and the bride and groom. They are supposed to capture those moments, without an ounce of worry, and to ensure those moments last a lifetime. I can honestly say, from the bottom of my heart, if you want your wedding to be photographed, and have a vendor live up to their promises, deadlines, and their word, I implore you, chose someone other than Alexsandra Wiciel.

I found Alex through a series of "no's”, and it was the best thing that could have happened to our wedding. Her style invokes pure magic. With our ceremony taking place after sunset and our original venue canceling on us due to Covid, Alex used her elite eye to capture breath taking and tear inducing photos despite the less than ideal conditions. She really captures beyond the moment – highlighting the details and making them shine. Her demeanor is calm but in control which is exactly what you need on your day. She has what you haven't thought of handled before you know it is a problem and doesn’t waste a minute. Photography was by far the most important vendor to me at the wedding and we were so fortunate to be able to work with Alex. Cannot recommend her enough.

If you want photos that are not boring cookie cutter clones of every other wedding out there than you need to hire Alexsandra and her team. She is a thorough weaver of magic and eccentricity through the prism lense of dreamy ideas. I cannot believe how perfectly she captured the visions I was hoping for with every shutter click! Her ability to organize and see the imaginary ideas we wanted was beyond inspired! She was fun and easy to work with throughout the entire process. I am so happy with our decision to hire her! She is not your grandma's photographer! She will make your photos speak a thousand languages in one click! If you don't want basic than you need her photography in your life. Alexsandra Wiciel is a top tier professional wedding photographer! She was the first wedding vendor I hired (even before booking my wedding venue). Photography was one of the most important parts of wedding planning. Pictures last forever, so why not hire the best of the best? When I initially discovered Alex's work, on the good ole' Instagram, I got chills. Literally, her work is breathtaking. The way she captures an image; The composition, the lighting, her use of prisms.. Wow wow wow! Her photos are full of energy and beauty. I knew instantly I had to hire her. Our first meeting was at the engagement shoot in Salem, MA. It was a freezing day, and my husband and I were nervous to shoot together (I lack modeling skills). Yet, Alex made us feel SO confident. We had so much fun with her which made us even more stoked for our wedding day. Not to mention, when we showed off our engagement photos to friends and family, they were in awe of Alex's talent! Our first wedding date was postponed, like most of 2020 brides. Again, we made sure to book on a date that Alex had available. In the meantime, Alex reached out to us to model for a Halloween shoot. Seeing Alex work in action is really cool; She's a woman on the go, constantly adapting to the surroundings and making really great photo scenarios out of it. My overall experience with Alex from the start of 2020, the postponed and cancelled weddings, to an elopement and more, has been amazing. She was supportive throughout it all. I can't express how happy I am that she was our photographer. My house might as well be an Alex Wiciel photo gallery at this point because I have so many images hung through from all of our times together. Five stars aren't enough.. I'd rate her a million more!

ALEX IS AMAZING!! As a wedding photographer myself, photography on my wedding day was at the very top of the priority list. I have been in awe of Alex's work for years and when it was finally time for me to get married she was the first vendor I booked. If you're looking for the best of the best you've found it. Alex is super communicative, laid back and an absolute magician on your wedding day. She captured everything in such a fantastic light and I literally cannot stop staring at my photos. I wish I could get married every year just so she could photograph me lol. Also, she isn’t afraid to get dirty for a great picture as we used her for our engagement shoot as well and she was practically laying in mud for a couple shots. I called Alex the day I got engaged because I already knew there was no one else I rather have take our wedding photos!! Yes, she is a photographer, but she is also either a magician or a wizardess, and she is also exceptionally kind. Lots of people can take nice photos with fancy cameras, but the way Alex manipulates light, captures emotions, and turns any backdrop into a piece of ethereal art is truly one-in-a-million. HEY YOU - The search for your dream photographer ends here. THIS. GIRL. Where to even begin? Alex was communicative, she was our cheerleader leading up the the wedding and day of, she was tentative and punctual. The life she pulled into the simplest poses made us so confident during our engagement session and on the wedding day. I am a wedding photographer myself so believe me when I say that this girl is the entire package. She is everything a photographer wants to be and gives her clients more than they could dream of with her images. It is SO important to hire a photographer who you can trust on your wedding day. I don't know about everyone else but my wedding day was hands down the greatest day in existence and Alex was able to show me what I missed. I can't even tell you how many hours I have spent flipping through my wedding gallery and sobbing over the images. They are the most romantic, happy, lively, colorful images I have ever seen (not to mention that everybody else that has seen them feels the exact same way). Also, the second I picked my wedding venue, I emailed Alex to make sure the date we chose was available because I wasn't booking anyone else. Alex - thank you so SO much for everything. Alex is a boss! Great to work with and super cool! She helps ease those awkward moments on engagement shoots when you have never had more than 1 picture taken in a day. She was always in the right spot to get the best shots at our wedding. We had a COVID wedding special and she was great through the whole thing! Definitely would tell any and everyone getting married to use her.
