I sat here wondering how to start this review. To put it simply, Darnell is the absolute best. He showed up on time and got right to work. He directed everyone and got some AMAZING photos, especially of my grandparents who are getting older and not into photos anymore. I just know I will cherish those memories forever. My husband and I are extremely happy with the results and will return to him for future events.

I absolutely loved working with Darnell and can't imagine choosing a better photographer for our wedding. So i had Darnell do my wedding August 18th and all I can say is he is the best photographer I have ever had. The direction, the knowledge of the angles, and not to mention the pictures came out so beautiful. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was fast but I didn't feel rushed and he got every picture I asked him to do. The action shots were amazing and we all looked like how much fun we actually had.

How do we begin I've been looking at his work for a while. But this time as a wife to be and I hired someone else and I still reached out to Darnell. But what I loved about him was his knowledge about the photography world that made me want to work with him. My original photographer was a no show so my wish came true to work with him. Darnell was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! He photographed our engagement photo shoot (and will shoot our wedding in less than 3 wks. I must say it worked out beautifully. Our photos are stellar; we look like models! Perfect Photographer for Our Wedding! After searching for the perfect photographer, we found him! I loved Darnell’s energy from the very first phone call meeting we had, and appreciated the expertise and guidance he could offer to this first-time non-conventional bride. He was really interested in the vision I had and keen to capture all the details I valued. When I say best ever, that’s an understatement! These guys made me and my husband feel so confident in every photo they took! Their personalities are top tier! My fiancé booked Darnell to capture the proposal he planned for me. Darnell went undercover and posed as an employee taking pictures for a website. He was charming and so kind working with us throughout the entire process. After Fred proposed Darnell also stuck around to take photos of us celebrating with family who had surprised me by being there. I hired Darnell and DSQ Photography for my brother's destination wedding [in the Dominican Republic) and WOW -- I couldn't have asked for a better experience! This was a gift to the bride and groom and they were more than pleased with the service. My brother is incredibly photogenic but not entirely in love with taking pictures and Darnell immediately put him at ease and captured the most important moment for him and for my sister-in-law. I was married on 06/10/18 in PA on a very Rainy... Dreary day! My Photographer Darnell Barnes owner of DSQ Photography was the ultimate professional! He was very patient and made us forget it was raining.. my photos came out beautiful and you would never had known it Poured!! There was also great shots that purposely displayed the rain! The creativity shown surpassed my expectations and he even was able to maneuver around my “guest photographers”! I am still in the process of selecting my photos for my album. Its such a hard thing to do when there are so many great shits to choose from. Darnell and his wife Kahmila are the perfect team.
