Go’Shen point BBQ had some of the most kind people we ever met when it comes to catering. They were so detailed and sweet! they truly helped make our wedding one of a kind. My guests were talking about their brisket and jalapeño poppers even days after our wedding :)
Highly recommend those and the pasta salad!! But also LOVED the tasting options and the variety they offer within the tasting! If someone is looking for a BBQ company, please try them! They were fantastic and I hope to work with them in the future <3

Go’Shen Point BBQ catered our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Everyone loved the food and couldn’t stop saying how nice and friendly the caterers were. They made it easy to communicate and plan our day with them and made our night even more special by bringing their food truck. We absolutely loved having them cater our wedding!

Truly not enough wonderful things I can say about Go Shen Point to touch on just how amazing they are. If you are looking for delicious food made by some of the most wonderful people, definitely go with Go Shen. From the time we tasted their food at an open house, to our tasting, to the countless emails they had to deal with from me being indecisive, to our rehearsal dinner, and wedding food they went above and beyond and were always incredibly professional. Many of our guests we have seen since the wedding have talked about how good the food was, especially the barbecue specifically the brisket and smoked elote cup. Throughout the process they always tried to take into account if we had anyone with allergies or special necessary modifications and my maid of honor who is celiac was so excited that she could enjoy the whole meal, and we were excited when we sat down at our table and they helped make sure there was already a plate on our table and checked if we wanted 2nds. People told us in the craziness of the wedding you don’t get a chance to eat sometimes but they made sure we got to eat. We had a slightly odd request in that we wanted turkey legs at the end of the night and they were absolutely delicious as well. Ron and Sherry are truly exceptional and put so much thought and care into the food and dining experience they are providing. You will not be disappointed if you have them cater your event! And they don’t just do barbecue, we had them cater Italian for our rehearsal dinner and there was no leftovers. They are simply the best!

I chose Go'Shen BBQ to cater a Celebration of Life event based on my son's professional relationship with the owner. I recommend Go'Shen BBQ now because of the professional performance of the Go'Shen employees and the exceptional barbecue served to my guests. In an age of stagflation, I find reviewing a product or service more difficult because increased prices don't always equal commiserate value. In this case, Go'Shen's competitive pricing was accompanied by an obvious attention to value delivered. Communication=Comprehensive

This is seriously the best BBQ you will ever have. We had family come from out of state and we wanted to give them a taste of Texas BBQ. Go Shen did not disappoint-we had tons of compliments about it too!
At the wedding, the staff was so incredibly sweet and helpful!
Ron’s stuffed jalapeño poppers are UNMATCHED!! It is all incredible but I will think about them for the rest of my life.
The experience, the food, the communication. It’s the whole 9 yards and then some. They go above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. I could not recommend them enough!!!

Ron and Sherry went above and beyond to serve our guests and truly made us feel like special on our wedding day. Overall they were easy to communicate with and such a delight to interact with. Our wedding tasting at their new location lasted hours because we had so much fun chatting and getting to know them as a family as well as a company. The food on our wedding day was served with the same precision and care as it was the day of our tasting and our guests enjoyed the food.
We cannot recommend them enough and can't wait to see how they succeed in the future!

Ron and Sherry are amazing! We met them during the tasting and got to try a little of everything. We actually left the tasting with full bellies! Hearing that Ron is a firefighter and veteran as well definitely sealed the deal! We hired them for my small wedding October 27th and the food was just as delicious as it was during the tasting. Most of my family flew to Texas from California for the wedding and they would not stop raving about the food saying it was the best BBQ they’ve ever had! The caterers at the event were very friendly and professional and boxed up our leftovers for us. I would definitely recommend GoShen BBQ to anyone who needs a caterer in or near San Antonio!

Go’Shen Point BBQ is amazing! Nobody remembers wedding food, but our guests did! We received so many compliments on the food, people even went to see if there were extra plates! We noticed that our guests finished all of their food when we went by to greet each table! Our guests loved the flavor and mentioned that it’s the best wedding food that they’ve tried. We definitely will be ordering more food from them in the future. We knew we wanted to book Go’Shen when we had our tasting. Not only did we enjoy the food, but we enjoyed our conversation with Ron and Sherry. They are a fantastic family and they love what they do!

Ron and Sheri were perfect. Sheri was very good at communicating any changes or issues. And when we did the tasting, we got to sit down with them and just chat with them and the personalities that they had they sit in great with us. One of the things we really wanted, as far as catering was obviously good food, which of it was the best food. But anyway, we wanted people that really love what they do. And that have the personalities to match.
During the wedding as everyone was eating, I looked up, and my friend was looking at me, and she was chewing her food, giving me the thumbs up as to tell me this is so good. Every single person that I asked if they like the food, they all loved it. Ron has a passion for cooking and you can really see it come through when you take each bite.
Later, on in the day, I came to learn that one of my wedding guests was actually sherries Aunt!
Such a small world in big ole San Antonio!
They actually have a little bed and breakfast type venue which is gorgeous! Great for bachelorette parties, baby showers, birthdays, anything really! This couple works incredibly hard to make sure everything is perfect and oh my, the food was perfect.

This is what I heard from multiple guests: "Best food I've ever had at a wedding!" "Best BBQ I've ever had" We were not only blown away by the quality of the food, but the staff was very professional and did a great job of bussing tables and cleaning up. They provided appetizers for cocktail hour as well as dinner. We had our reception at a ranch, and the BBQ fit right in with our theme.

Sherry is so kind and helpful. Although I ended up having to move my wedding, they were responsive and followed up on a consistent basis along the ay. I wish I still lived in Texas otherwise I would visit. Highly highly recommend Go’Shen Point BBQ!

This was the best choice for a vendor we could have made! From the tasty BBQ to the amazing people, it was a perfect fit for our wedding. Ron and Sherry were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted on our day. We really wanted to have a food truck at our wedding, which was partly why we first considered Go’Shen, as well as a fajita/taco bar so we actually ended up with two food vendors. They were totally flexible with us and it was the perfect fit. Their whole set up from their truck to serving the food was a great look with our wedding and very simple for our guests to get appetizers and dinner. We are so happy Go’Shen, especially Ron and Sherry, was a part of our day. Thank you Ron and Sherry!!

Ron and his team created speciality catered dinner for my brother's. bachelor party. His ability to create a fun experience will go a long way to creating a feast you'd like for your wedding day. Their whole team was professional, kind, and generous. It is amazing to work with people who love their job. So needless to say, the authentic lamb roast they catered for our event was nothing short of divine.

Ron and Sherry were truly amazing to work with for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The food was incredible and I would absolutely put their ribs and brisket up against any of the pit masters in the Texas Monthly Top 50. From first introductions, to the menu tasting and through the event and post-event cleanup, Ron, Sherry, and their team were exceptionally professional and helped ensure that our wedding weekend was truly wonderful and as stress free as possible. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them to our friends and family, not just for weddings, but for other corporate, non profit, and family events as well.

We can’t leave enough stars for our caterer! If your looking for a BBQ caterer that goes above and beyond look no further. From our first email to our to the final cleanup Go’shen delivers. We had Go’shen carter our wedding for 200 and everything was on point. We went with chicken, brisket and sausage as well as beans and potato salad. The food was to die for and everybody couldn’t stop raving about it, we also had them cater the appetizers which were brisket jalapeño poppers and meatballs which were so good they went before my wife and I could even join the reception lol but what was even better than the food was the level of communication we received. It never took long to get a reply back on an email and sherry answered every time we gave her a call which was very helpful when going through the stresses of wedding planning. The day of the ceremony they showed up exactly on time, they were familiar with our venue and set up without a hiccup. To top off the whole experience they were nice enough to give my wife and I a gift at the end of our wedding! I would recommend Go’shen to anybody wanting great BBQ and a great experience.

Wonderful Food AND People!
Where to begin? We had a small backyard wedding recently. Sherry was so responsive and flexible with what we were looking for even though we reached out to them fairly close to the big day. She provided great suggestions and worked with what we were looking for. The food was SO good, meat was cooked perfectly and the sides were icing on the plate! This is Texas and we all know BBQ is a big thing around here. Every restaurant, food truck, or pit master believes their BBQ is the best. So when we found Go'Shen Point BBQ we expected to get the same speech. Thankfully the food matched the speech. It was absolutely amazing and mouth watering. Sherry and Ron were so easy to work with. They were always available and accommodating when changes needed to be made. They never made me feel like I was just another event or customer. They made us feel like we had known each other forever and you don't really get that type of customer service these days. Go'Shen Point BBQ exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be using them again in the future.

They have some of the best catered BBQ in Texas by a long shot. Their food is so mouthwatering good that your guest will talk about it for years. Trust me, I know this firsthand, they did my wedding, my 15 year older Friendsgiving, and multiple holidays for us! Not to mention, their service, professionalism, friendliness and their dedication to provide the best service above and beyond makes them the most extraordinary caterers for any and all of your special occasions. From birthdays to weddings, they deliver exceptional high quality food and service that is unmatchable. ANNNND Ron is a firefighter and both him and Sherry do a lot to give back to their communities, support Veteran organizations and small businesses. I am extremely picky when it come to BBQ. Yes, there are plenty of BBQ places that are food but nothing that would compare to my grandfather or dad’s BBQ....until I had Go’Shen Point BBQ. Ron is the definition of “Pit Master”. I’m not kidding you when I say that I CRAVE his BBQ and potato salad! (We actually keep a bottle of his “Sweet Heat Meat Enhancer BBQ Sauce in our fridge) Ron catered my late husband’s “1 year Angelversary” get together (the year anniversary of his passing), as well as another small party I had. EVERYONE (even my PARENTS- which is unheard of) raved about his food! Ron and his team were on time, set up (which looked so nice), served nice sized portions of food, and were so kind and professional. Now Ron is my go-to guy because I know he will deliver a delicious and consistent product each time. You will not regret having your wedding or event catered by Go’Shen Point!

My wedding was a disaster when it came to vendors. Many were late and unresponsive. Go'Shen Point BBQ was the only vendor that was on time and set up and ready to go early. They knew what they were doing and didn't require me to answer 20 questions about miniscule details which was a breath of fresh air. There food was outstanding and delicious which everyone of my guests loved and there service was exquisite. Which really helped stabilized my wedding from becoming a disaster which it very nearly became. Don't overthink it, hire them and they might save your wedding like they did mine.

Ron and Sherry and their team did an absolute amazing job catering our wedding. Their food is so good that even though our wedding was going to be a little north of Austin we had to have them, there was never a question. I still have guest from the wedding telling us how good the brisket was at our wedding. If y'all have an event coming up you need to get your food from them!
