Harriet Island Pavilion did an amazing job helping us with our wedding recetion. They provided professional service, excellent communication, and strived to provide us with all the details we wanted. Brittany and her staff did an amazing job. I couldn't reccomend this venue more highly for a wedding. The building is clean with all the ammenities you could need and the location on the river across from the city could not be more beautiful.

Harriet island was so amazing on our wedding day! Brittany was so helpful, professional, and always quick to respond. Our day went so smoothly and we had multiple compliments about how great the venue was. We really loved how they were willing to work with so many vendors and really let us make it the wedding of our dreams. Not only was it in the perfect location, but it also had a ton of free parking that our guests appreciated. I loved the ability to use both outdoor and indoor spaces.

Brittany is FANTASTIC to work with. She was super knowledge and friendly, always took the time to answer any and all of our questions and brainstormed with us about the venue set up. One reason we went with this venue over other ones was because they did not have a set list of vendors you needed to use (a lot of the other ones made you use certain caterers), which allowed us a lot of flexibility and ways to save money. The venue having two patios (and one looking out to the water) was also fun for our guests (we had a photobooth on one patio and cocktail tables on the other). You also do not need to do much with décor because the venue itself is beautiful on its own and there are so many great places for photos. Overall, we are so happy we chose this place for our venue

I can't express how lovely Harriet Island Pavilion was for our wedding! The event staff leading up to the event was immensely helpful giving recommendations for vendors and clear deadlines for deposits, floor plans, etc. The day of the event, we ended up having to move the ceremony inside due to cold weather which went super smooth and was just as beautiful as it would have been on the outdoor patio. The event staff had to rearrange our floor plan to accommodate the change, and it was already completed by our arrival at 10am. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the venue was and it required minimal decorations since the venue itself is gorgeous. Five stars!

We picked this venue virtually, but wow, we are so thankful we did. Brittany is so helpful and professional. We were also so impressed with how nice the venue actually is - pictures do not do it justice. From the beautiful high beams to the fireplace and the beautiful stone walls, it's charming and classic but still a blank slate to be anything you want it to be. It's budget friendly but still beautiful. I felt like there was enough personality to the space, even if you kept decor to a minimum. It's also awesome to have the flexibility of booking whatever vendors you want! That was a major plus to us. We got married in the fall and it was just... stunning. You can't go wrong with Harriet Island Pavilion, especially with Brittany at the helm. 10/10.

Harriet Island Pavilion is the perfect place to hold your wedding and/or reception! My fiancé and I wanted a place where we could bring in our own vendors. While it does require a bit more work on our end, we were able to customize our wedding just as we wanted it with food trucks, ice cream truck, bar service, decoration service and more. Harriet Island is also extremely affordable. Brittany and the staff are extremely organized and helpful throughout the planning process as well as day of. They helped set up and tear down. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend!!

We held our wedding at Harriet Island Pavilion on 09.30.2022 and Brittany and her team were FANTASTIC! Brittany was such a big support and truly helped us create the perfect day. We would highly recommend Harriet Island, a naturally beautiful venue, which can really be decorated any way that you wish. In addition, your vendor options are limitless so you can really create your wedding vision and see it come to life! If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing about our venue or our day!

Brittany was the best! She was so flexible with us and worked so hard to make all of our visions possible! We had the best and most beautiful wedding here. It was a July wedding and the pavilion does not have A/C but… there were good fans in the building and the brick helped it stay cool inside. It was a little warm but didn’t stop our party!

Harriet Island Pavilion is a beautiful venue with amazing character and views of downtown St. Paul. We had our wedding in October 2022 and the fall colors made it even more special. We were impressed with the venue but we were blown away by Brittany Williams, Harriet Island's Wedding and Event Specialist. When we were looking for venues, Harriet Island wasn't doing any in-person tours with Covid so Brittany set up a video tour for us. She walked us through each part of the venue, and even stood in a rain/snow storm to talk about the patio and ceremony layouts. She was unbelievably quick and responsive to emails and questions, always providing helpful resources. We had looked at other venues but no one was as personable and knowledgable as Brittany. We are so grateful to Brittany and the Harriet Island staff for all their support and for making our wedding such a memorable day!

The Harriet Island staff was easy to work with and kept us informed with the changing regulations. They were professional and very helpful the day of our event. Harriet Island Pavilion is a beautiful place to hold a reception with great views of the river. We liked that we were able to bring our own caterer and the venue was reasonably priced. Our pictures were taken in the area as well. We can't recommend Harriet Island enough!

Beautiful venue with amazing views of the Mississippi River and downtown St. Paul. Easy access location with lots of different backdrops for photos. We loved the space and the event staff. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved our wedding at Harriet Island. The historic venue is stunning- right on the Mississippi River, with a view of downtown! And Brittany was incredible to work with!! She was prompt in response, organized, thoughtful and so sweet. We wanted an affordable, open slate venue that we could customize and bring in any vendors, which is exactly what Harriet Island provides. The venue itself is gorgeous and doesn't need much decorating (unless you want to decorate!). They let you customize it anyway that you want- we had lots of farmer’s market flowers, candles, lights for a more bohemian / casual look, but I’ve seen pics of much more formal weddings that looked beautiful. We wanted an outdoor ceremony, but it rained (at the VERY last minute!). Brittany was amazing in helping us to move our guests and wedding party inside. Honestly our guests said it was a highlight and memorable wedding because of the mad dash into the pavilion. I was so impressed with how helpful and organized the staff were to move a group of 275 so quickly. Could not be any happier with choosing Harriet Island Pavilion as our venue!! 10/10.

Things you should know: 1) Brittany is wonderful to work with - was so helpful helping us find vendors and organize our day. 2) the venue is AMAZING - gorgeous architecture and provides a unique indoor/outdoor vibe Brittany and her staff were with us every step of the way. We booked it during COVID and only had a face time tour. My daughter wanted an outdoor reception venue and this provides the security of shelter if there is rain but the option to be outside if not. The ability of our guests to move easily between the indoor pavilion and the outdoor cocktail patio was so fun. We had games set up on the patio along with a rented tent and furniture which created fun spaces for our guests to move between. We lucked out on weather - but even in the 80s, the venue is perfectly comfortable with the breeze that goes through. The space is absolutely stunning. Brittany was great working with all my vendors and was an absolute gem when we ran into some challenges with one of the vendors. Cannot imagine doing this without her!

Harriet Island was the perfect spot to have our wedding. Having the indoor option in case of rain made me a much more calm bride when I woke up to rain on the morning of our wedding. The day turned out beautiful (weather and all) and the whole site looked so pretty! We loved being by the river! Brittany and her team were great to work with, super fast and good at communicating the changing regulations during covid!

Beautiful and affordable. The pavilion is located right on the Mississippi River and has patios on both sides for people to enjoy. We felt like we didn't even need to decorate the space very much because it is naturally very beautiful. Brittany was amazing and easy to work with. She recommended amazing vendors and was very fast and responsive to any and all questions that we had.

The Harriet Island Pavilion was the perfect spot for us to get married. It has the city, the park, the river. The venue is very spacious and beautiful. We had the best experience working with Brittany! She made every detail of planning so easy and I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. I would highly recommend this venue for a beautiful space and great people to work with who care about making your wedding special and the day run smooth.

We were very happy with our wedding day at the Harriet Island Pavilion. The staff was very flexible and accommodating when we had to change our wedding plans on short notice because of COVID. We were able to move the date and shift to an all-outdoor event. It really saved us! This venue is a great value and can be customized to suit any taste. The park is also beautiful and perfect for photos. Highly recommend.

Absolutely spectacular event site. Brittany was amazing!!! I can't tell you how wonderful she was. She was very clear and concise with information. Always willing and quick to answer any and all questions. Was VERY accommodating and flexible - even with last minute changes. Was able to give suggestions and ideas which helped a lot! Very professional to work with. The event site is wonderful. It just doesn't get any better than Harriet Island Pavilion. Absolutely beautiful.

What a PERFECT venue for an absolutely amazing wedding! My daughter was married on September 30, 2017-the fall weather was perfect. The staff at Harriet Island took excellent care of our needs. Brittani was great to work with and everything was just like we wanted and ready to go the day of! The ceremony was set up outside with river views! As the sun went down the pictures outside were AMAZING! WE chose one of the preferred vendors for draping and lighting which was gorgeous and creates a whole different ambiance. Our caterer had been there before and dinner was served and taken down without a hitch. Cocktail hour included games on the patio, and there was plenty of space for the D.J. and and a packed dance floor all night! We received so many compliments from start to finish and just want to thank everyone who helped make this day so very special. We would recommend Harriet Island to anyone considering this type of venue. Our daughter had to camp out for 3 nights to get the date she wanted!! But it was well worth it!! Thanks so much especially to Brittani for ironing out all the details and making it run so smoothly!!!

My experience with Harriet Island was really great through the planning process. Brittany (your contact) is great, very attentive and helpful in making sure all of the details are mapped out. The venue was gorgeous and is so versatile to make it what you want. The only reason I don't have a perfect review for the pavilion is that the day of staff was not very helpful and there were multiple things that didn't get done as planned (all minor things that could be fixed) which lead to a little bit longer set up and a crunched timeline.

I mean this venue is terrific. Staff is great to work with and location is beautiful. All at a reasonable price.

We had originally planned a ceremony & reception for May at Harriet Island. We decided to move it up in hopes of a winter wedding - and had only 6 weeks time to plan everything. From day one Brittany was amazing to work with. Helpful, insightful, full of ideas, and LOADS of patience for a bride and our gazillions of questions. The venue itself was beautiful - which saved us a ton on décor. I can't thank Brittany enough for taking this super stressful time and making this part one of the effortless pieces. Thank you, Brittany for being so awesome to work with!

We were lucky enough to secure this venue due to a cancellation. Reserved the space in February 2015 for a June 2015 wedding. Brittany is the main coordinator and was easy to work with. She had good suggestions for catering, alcohol, and lighting. While Brittany is not a wedding planner, she was able to provide some guidance through the process. We had our ceremony on the north patio facing downtown St. Paul and it was a gorgeous backdrop. Inside the pavilion guests were amazed by the high ceilings, beams and architecture. With a venue this spectacular you need very little decoration to bring it alive. We used cafe lighting inside and on the north patio and simple floral arrangements on the tables. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect summer location.

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Harriet Island Pavilion for our wedding reception venue! The wedding coordinator was on top of everything and made sure we had everything ready to go for the day and the staff that was present for the reception were present when we needed them to be, but not present when we didn't. Beautiful building and scenery for photos outside, able to use our own vendors, and super affordable in comparison to other similar places in the cities!

I recently got married at Harriet Island Pavilion and had an amazing experience. We worked with Brittany - who was so helpful. Since we live in another state, most of our planning had to be done via email and she was very responsive and helpful, even providing vendor suggestions for us. We met a few months before the wedding and she was so accommodating to my limited availability. The staff that worked the day of my wedding were so polite and professional. They ensured that things went smoothly and went above and beyond my expectations. The venue is very affordable and we were completely satisfied.

This venue is gorgeous and an amazing value. The staff are incredibly helpful, and you'll have the best time ever .

If I could get married all over again I would...but probably not because our day just ended up way too perfect I am scared we couldn't re-create it. Honestly, this excitement about how great the event was is almost completely due to Harriet Island. The location made the day. It is beautiful; easy to customize; economical; allowed flexibility with guest numbers, caterers (which really helped with the budget), and has the greatest staff ever. I would highly recommend this venue. We had to sleep in our cars in a line to reserve our date but as my brother said "people stand in long lines for much wierder reasons." We made it fun from start to finish. HUGE shout-out to Brittany and the staff at Harriet Island. They answered so many questions their emails could fill a novel and fielded probably hundreds of phone calls from me. They were so sweet, responsive and understanding the whole way through...thank you!

Great building, really great staff helping organize the event. I wasn't sure how much involvement there would be having an event through the park system. They touched base with all of our vendors and kept things really organized. Super Nice!Q

Beautiful Venue along the river in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. Seats 275 max. Allows any licensed vendor. Provided chairs and tables are no extra cost. Tours are available all throughout the summer, so I was able to visit the venue multiple times whenever I had questions. Booking was a little stressful, and I can imagine it is even more difficult if you are not a Saint Paul resident. Saturdays book up as soon as they are available. Brittany, the correspondent during planning was awesome. She responded to emails quickly and was pretty flexible given this is a city-owned building. We were allowed to set up the day before (for a small fee) because no one had booked the venue that day. The ceilings are very high, and draping was costly, so we went with uplighting instead, which looked very pretty on the stone walls. During the wedding weekend, there were people viewing the building while we were setting up. This made us a little uneasy because they were left unattended for a period of time. The wedding went very smoothly. The staff was excellent. The police officer was present, but not over bearing. We did have an uninvited couple show up who no one knew. The groom questioned them, and they left immediately. For the price, this venue is amazing, if you can book it. It was also conveniently within 2 miles of our Church.

Harriet Island is a pretty popular wedding venue, so plan ahead! We wanted an August wedding, but everything was booked until October! It turned out to be a beautiful ceremony. We had planned on having an outdoor ceremony, but as luck would have it, we had to go inside due to weather. It was so intimate and beautiful though; we got married with the altar right in front of the lit fireplace. The staff at Harriet Island is really helpful and they stick around all night to make sure everything is going according to plan. They help clean up at the end of the night, and do a lot of double checks with the bridal party. Staff member Brittany was especially helpful. Overall, although it was an expensive venue ($2200 for a Friday wedding), it was beautiful and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

It was a wonderful place to have a wedding. It was so beautiful and they were great to work with. Just make sure you talk about parking because they didn't have any parking reserved for our guests. Everything went great and they have great connections for decorating the place as well.

Harriet Island Pavilion (Clarence W. Wigington Pavilion) was wonderful for our wedding reception. The river access is great and guests loved mingling outside, the space is fantastic, and the staff was awesome to work with. Would definitely recommend for summer weddings!

We decided we wanted to have our wedding along the river with the city skyline in the background. Harriet Island was the perfect location! Everything was beautiful! The people there made sure everything went smoothly and did such a tremendous job of getting things set up the day of. They were wonderful to work with, very responsive, and I was thrilled to see my vision come to life on my big day!

Loved out wedding here! it was gorgeous on the river overlooking downtown St. Paul. Great staff great value! Plenty of parking open catering policy was wonderful!

We had both our wedding and reception at Harriet Island. We could not be happier with the staff and location. Katie, our contact at Harriet Island was punctual, prepared, knowledgable, and so willing to help us with any concerns or questions we had, to make our day perfect! And it was, although for August, it was HOT! The only thing I could have wished to be different was that they do not have air conditioning and there seemed to be no breeze that day, strange since it is on the river. So everyone was kinda sweaty but it was still perfect and magical! Thank you to all that work there for making it our dream wedding.

Beautiful venue, affordable and great location.

Overall it is a very bautiful place and convenient to have the ceremony and reception there. The patios on either side of the pavilion give guests plenty of space to move about and mingle. However, our contact who was supposed to be there left early. Therefore the building was unsecure for an unknown length of time and the staff that showed up to set up didn't have any idea what to do when it rained. We had to pay for ceremony chairs that didn't get used and my own wedding party had to move tables to make room for an indoor ceremony. It was a hassle but guests seemed to have a good time.

Harriet Island was a beautiful setting both inside and outside. We had our ceremony and reception at the pavilion. Be careful not to schedule too close to when the flood waters are at their peak.

Excellent service, no surprise charges, very straight forward. Staff excellent and professional. Everything went well! Loved the new high tops for my cocktail hour. Rave reviews from my guests, very swank and posh.
