Jeff (Jay Fox Productions) was so great! He was incredibly professional and knows how to work a crowd. He had our dance floor packed the whole night and played so many songs we love and requested him to play. He is a great DJ that will make your reception the party of a life time! He knows how to read a crowd so well and plays the perfect combination of upbeat dance songs and slow dancing romantic songs. He's also great to work with, between phone calls and meeting in person Jeff will go above and beyond to make your day special!

We met Jeff at a Bridal show. He was the only DJ there that wasn't playing "club music" -- we didn't want that. When we walked by, he almost seemed shy, but we met with him and set up a date to discuss our wedding plans. At our first meeting, we told him we wanted to do a Celtic/Renaissance themed wedding. The first song he played just happened to be my ring tone on my phone--we clicked instantly! Every time we met after that, we just couldn't contain our excitement so much, we could hardly stay on topic. He really knows his stuff and has been a tremendous help through the planning process. His love for what he does is transparent! I'm so glad we picked Jeff for our wedding--I can't wait!!!!

We hired Jay Fox Productions for my daughter’s wedding. He arrived early and had all of his equipment set up, tested and ready to go long before go time. We went over our schedule one last time before the wedding and all went flawless. He is very professional and knowledgeable of all that needs to happen in a wedding. Took the stress off of everyone. I was the bride who did NOT want a DJ for my wedding. I thought that having one was a waste of money but my groom convinced me that we needed a DJ/Emcee for our wedding. I asked some wedding industry professionals and they suggested that we contact Jeff first, of all the good DJs. During our phone consultation/interview, the fireworks were off the charts with him and with us! It was a genuine joy to speak with him and get to know who he is, how he got into the business, and what makes him tick. He wasn’t about making the sale and having another client, but about getting to genuinely know us as a couple and seeing if he would also be a good fit for us and our personalities. What clinched it for me is that he is also a working DJ, outside of the wedding/events circuit. As a former recruiter, I assessed him as a professional candidate, and could tell that Jeff is the kind of person you want to to snatch up quickly, as he would be a value-added team member who would be taken by competition. The process for prepping our wedding was made simple by easy-to-follow format and he met with my groom in-person before our wedding. Where Jeff really shined was at our reception - he read our mood and the atmosphere that our guests created. He made some tweaks to the program, on the fly, that we are so very grateful for - he nurtured and encouraged the joy of our happy day by gifting us with a perfect 5-minute last song, which culminated into an amazing memory in which we were literally wrapped up in the love of each other and our family - it felt communal yet intensely intimate. Jeff is a positive, high-energy and thoughtful person. We are thankful to have him be a part of our lives!

PLEASE STAY AWAY! Per the last two 1 star reviews, they are 100% accurate and truthful. Jeff was extremely rude, used vulgar language, and pushed the coordinator. I was at the wedding and it was very unprofessional for guests to realize how horrible the DJ was asking. I felt so bad for the groom and bride. I hope they didn’t have to pay for him for the way he acted. AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT USE JAY FOX PRODUCTIONS!!!

Unfortunately I worked with Jeff this past weekend and I was the paid wedding planner and friend of the family. 3 months before my brides wedding I called our DJ just to make sure I touched base with him. When I called he had no idea who my bride and groom were and didn’t remember getting a signed contract or deposit from them and they were not on his calendar. I then informed my bride who was worried because she had already paid him a deposit. Later Jeff called and apologized to us both and said that he had never misplaced things like that before. Thankfully I called 3 months in advance before he had double booked our date. The day of the wedding Jeff disagreed with the timeline and made communication very difficult. As soon as Jeff arrived he immediately complained about where he was suppose to set up in the room. Then complained to the MOB about it and later continued to complain to the venue owner about it. As he complained to the MOB he decided to tell her the wedding was falling apart because his gobo could no longer be centered in the room because the bride decide to put balloons in that area. I reminded her that the wedding her and her daughter had been planning for a year was in fact not falling apart and that, that was an awful thing to say. As the MOB stepped away he told me to “Stay the F away” from him. He then proceeded to degrade me asking my age and if this was my first wedding and that I needed to “grow the F up” He continued to run around the room aggravated as all the vendors watched. We had also decided to have a musician play our unity candle song and he was mad that he had bought a song for no reason. As I was sending our wedding party down the aisle he was saying “go” in my ear as if I should send them when he says. After me ignoring him he decided to go in his ceremony music room and slam the door during the ceremony. As the night went on he decided to cuss at me in front of our JR bridesmaids and ring bearers. As our bride and groom were doing their private last dance everyone was lining up for sparklers and the photographers, videographers and myself stayed to grab some photos. During the dance Jeff started to raise his voice for us all to leave. No one was moving. He comes up to me and tells me to get out and puts his hands on me and pushes me. As I quickly ran out he yelled “Go cry to your f*ing mommy”. I immediately told the FOB and he hurried to tell Jeff he needed to leave. Instead of apologizing or trying to explain Jeff started pushing the FOB and grandfather. The police were called and escorted Jeff out of the venue. After being in the wedding industry for 5 years I’ve never experienced anything like this. DJ’s do disagree sometimes but never have I been disrespected the way Jeff Christenson with Jay Fox Productions did. On the wedding day things always come up and most vendors approach the situation with an open mind and try to go with the flow because that’s what we are paid to do. At every turn Jeff complained and made everything difficult while using vulgar language.

Very disappointed in the way this man acted, had to be escorted by police from the wedding I attended. He used foul language in front of children. And was physical with the brides father and grand father after pushing a 23 year old girl. And to keep this short I’ll say PLEASE stay away. I’ve never in my life experienced such a terrible man.

Where do I start???? Jeff is by far one of the best DJ/MC in the State of Texas, period!!!! I have been friends with Jeff for many years now and I was fortunate he was available for our wedding. From the moment we hired him, a huge relief came off my shoulders knowing there would be no issues. Jeff showed up when the venue opened to setup in advance and made sure everything works. Things like that tell you about someone, it allows for any repairs or changes that need to happen "last minute" in plenty of time. He has some amazing extra's when he does a wedding that I do not want to spoil, but let me say it gets the place going like no one has ever seen. Things like this come from years of experience. He can read a crowd and keep a dance floor full all night long. I know he got a few contacts from my wedding for people who want to hire him for their wedding. OOHHH and that voice...… No one can compare with the "Radio" voice he has. I can go on and on all night about all the amazing things he did and his great communication not only with the wedding couple, but with the photographer and others. You get the photographer and DJ on the same page and you will have the most fluent and best night of your life. This is not a job for Jeff, it is a passion and you can truly tell from the moment you sit down with him to discuss your wedding. I promise you will not be disappointed with the way he does things.

Jeff was a phenomenal DJ, he brought so much life to the wedding playing songs that kept the dance floor alive all night, also taking songs by request to please all the guests! He has wonderful ideas to make your wedding day special, not to mention his voice draws everyone’s attention for important wedding announcements. After the wedding we had so many compliments on our DJ and that everyone throughly enjoyed themselves dancing. If you want someone to put your wedding over the top and add some beautiful unique touches then Jay Fox Productions is your DJ!

Planning a wedding for our only daughter and 250 of our closest friends and family in 4 months was bit nerve wracking at times. Worrying if everything would be perfect by choosing the right vendors was quite a task. From the moment I contacted Jeff, with Jay Fox, I knew that was one worry I could check off the list. Jeff took the time to sit down with my daughter Aubrey and, then future son-in-law, Chase to get to know them and to find out what "they" were all about. He really strived to make the experience of that night ALL theirs. Jeff made the reception flow flawlessly and brought out the true essence of what this couple was all about. He brought a certain energy to the evening and his professionalism is above reproach. I highly recommend Jay Fox Productions for all of your DJ needs in the future. This DJ is very knowledgeable on every genre of music, knows how to personalize the evening to the couple and extremely reliable.

Jeff went above and beyond as a DJ for our wedding!! He was very prompt in all communications and so friendly and open. Our guests LOVED the music selection and he kept everyone happy and on the dance floor! He even was able to bring some uplighting even though it wasn’t part of our package, and goes beyond his duties as a DJ to perform a special love note ceremony!

When planning our wedding, we knew finding a top notch DJ was very important. We wanted a professional with a great voice, who knew how to pulse the crowd and not only played amazing music to keep the atmosphere and party alive, but was also personable and an integral part of our reception. When we came across Jay Fox Productions, we knew our search was over. From the very first phone call, it was evident that our ceremony and reception would be in excellent hands. We met up with Jeff on several occasions to make sure the time line and music selections were what we wanted and he took the reins from there. He gave us great suggestions and helped us include touching moments in our reception that meant the world to us. He is an entertainer that enjoys what he is doing and it shows. We would not have trusted our reception to anyone else. Jeff kept the party going all night and our guests had a blast.

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Jay Fox Productions. Jeff simply made our reception the amazing time it was. From his very creative introduction of us as Mr. and Mrs. to the last song, Jeff kept the good times going. Jeff knows music and used his knowledge to help us finalize our reception songs. He took the time to get to know us and craft a reception that fit our personality. If Jeff is available for your wedding, you will not regret booking him.

I am the Mother of the Bride for April 14, 2018 wedding. Look also for my daughter Kristin's post from same day. I want to echo everything she included from how much experience Jeff has with his broadcasting background and all the weddings he has provided services for. He is MUCH MORE than a DJ! He takes a personal interest in what the bride and groom want from a playlist perspective while making awesome suggestions on how to make the most of your time at the reception because it truly flies by. We had 175 people at our reception and it was ran flawlessly by Jeff. The guests had so much fun dancing after dinner we all left with smiling and laughing thoroughly enjoying ourselves! Our family now considers Jeff a friend and we highly recommend him! He will make your reception so memorable and fulfill your once in a lifetime dream be a great success!

There are not enough words to describe how awesome Jeff is. He is so personable and truly becomes a supportive friend and part wedding coordinator throughout the whole process. First, Jeff will go and meet with you anywhere you would like to plan for the big day. My mother and I ended up having lunch with him twice to plan and enjoyed just talking with him and sharing stories! Getting to know Jeff was the best part! He has such knowledge and wisdom from his experience that I never worried about a thing and felt comfortable putting all my trust in him. He also enjoys and has every type of music genre known to man and will truly cater to all of your wants and desires. Next, for the big day. That is when Jeff truly shined! I know my bridesmaids and groomsmen were a handful (we certainly had fun on the party bus leading to the reception), but Jeff took everything in stride and kept us going and in line, which we certainly needed! We were kind of a mess ;)! I completely forgot to give Jeff the names of our party before hand, but Jeff didn't sweat it! He was right there with a pen and paper for me to scramble and write names down before we made our entrance. Also, I should note, that I was prepared with people's advice that the night just flies by, however, I was not prepared for the extent that it really does fly by. I am sure I was a headache when I kept thinking we had plenty of time to get everything in. Jeff was right there by our side though, organizing everything and making sure everything went off on time and without a hitch! I am so sorry for that Jeff, but I am so thankful for you! The only thing I would chance and wish I knew ahead of time was that Jeff has so many connections and knows everyone and I would have loved to hear his suggestions before it was too late! He knows who is who and can get you discounts on you name it! So if anything, please pick his brain before it is too late for you! THANK YOU JEFF FOR GIVING ME THE WEDDING OF MY DREAMS!!! I truly mean it. I am so blessed to have found you and I hope those reading this will put their trust in you as well!

Jeff with Jay Fox Productions was absolutely amazing as our ceremony DJ and our officiant!!!! Not only did Jeff do an unbelievable job writing our ceremony, but his delivery in that deep sultry radio voice made it even more perfect than we could have dreamed! In addition, Jeff seamlessly played all the ceremony music before, during and after the ceremony. To be able to do this and also officiate the ceremony speaks volumes to Jeff's professionalism, poise and talent in even the most complex of situations. He inserted humor at all the right places, but also spoke from the heart bringing my wife and I together as a couple. If you are looking for the best of the best in a DJ or officiant for your wedding/reception, I would highly recommend Jeff with Jay Fox productions! Jeff was a great asset to my night. He made the night go smoothly and added unique touches that made the night absolutely perfect. He really listened to what I wanted and matched it perfectly to how the night was going. I could not recommend him enough.

He showed me there is much more to just putting on a playlist. Jeff does a great job on feeling the energy of the guests and putting on just the right song to amp up the mood or tone it down. Having an amazing DJ was a top priority for us. We thought we knew what we wanted in a DJ before we met up. After our first meeting we knew that we had found everthing we wanted in a DJ and then some! After each meeting with Jeff you will leave knwing that your wedding is in great hands. He asks questions that prove that he truly cares about your big day, questions that you would never even think of needing to know and answer to. Jeff’s natural catering personality makes you feel like he has been a long time friend of the family. I highly recommend him for your big day!

I am extremely saddened that I have to write such a terrible review for Jeff with Jay Fox Productions. My husband and I had a two year long engagement and we booked with Jeff almost the full two years out, we had everything paid off 6 months prior to the wedding. On 4/8/19 at 5:54pm Jeff sent an email that he deposited the final payment and we were "officially 100% paid". 3 months out from the wedding date on 8/12/19 I sent Jeff over our Reception Planning sheet that he provided fully filled out with notes of anything special. By 8/23/19 at 11:28am I had not received a reply so resent it over and asked for confirmation that he received it. On 8/23/19 at 11:53am I received a reply staying that he thought he sent me a reception notice when he got it but that he did receive it and "all the music is in your playlist and ready to go!" On 10/16/19 (1 month before the wedding) he had email correspondences and a call with my coordinator in regards to time line and songs lists (which i have copies of.) He then emailed me on 10/16/19 at 4:30pm stating that I owed him an additional $400 and needed payment as soon as possible. We did move up the ceremony by 30 minutes but $400 is Jeffs price for 2 hours. I sent him the email I received from him in April stating that we were 100% payed off as well as my receipts/email confirmations from him. On 10/26/19 at 5:15pm I received another email from him apologizing and now stating that I owed him $900. I then forwarded him over the contract, his price sheet, and broke down the hours of the day, including again the break down of the payments and let him know that I can see where I would owe for an additional 30 minutes but nothing else. He apologized and admitted he was incorrect and told me not to worry about the additional 30 minutes as he was embarrassed. I stayed up that night fearing for our wedding night and apparently rightfully so. Our wedding day was completely magical despite the horrors that Jeff from Jay Fox Productions brought with him. He was completely unprepared and unprofessional. I feel so sick to my stomach knowing that I paid $3200 for a DJ who introduced my wedding party incorrectly and saying "Oh Whatever" on the mic after he screwed up, he did not have any of the songs ready and my coordinator had to give him a hot spot to download them. He had the audacity to come over to my husband and I during the reception RIGHT BEFORE the mother son dance and tell us he did not have the music for it and that he "did not know about it until just now," when I have email correspondences and proof that they were sent over 3 months before the wedding and again by my coordinator 1 month before the wedding. On top of this I heard from many guests that Jeff had an attitude with them while leaving the venue. I also was informed that he verbally attacked my coordinator and PURPOSEFULLY caused damage to the venue upon his exit. I'm sure he will comment on this review as a "smear campaign" as he did with someone previously who had a very similar experience. I brushed her review off as "maybe she was overreacting a bit" but she was not. If anyone as any questions or would like proof of my review please email me at jordynshafer@hotmail.com and I will gladly send you everything I have, but please save your money and go with a better option because yes, while everyone danced and enjoyed the music his unprofessional-ism and attitude was not worth a single penny of the $3200 I feel he stole from my husband and I.

Wish there were more stars... Jeff is wonderful. Not only did he DJ our daughter's wedding, he also officiated the ceremony. He spoke such kind and heartfelt words during the ceremony, as if he had known the bride and groom forever. The reception rocked from start to finish. The dance floor was packed the entire evening. So many guests commented that ours was one of the best receptions, they had every attended. Thank you Jeff for making our day so special. It was a blast....

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Jeff is as a DJ and a person. He truly made the day so special. He willingly goes above and beyond. He makes the process of planning so easy and makes you feel special while doing it. He is absolutely worth every penny.

Wow, who knew what a difference having the right DJ could make? Jeff Christenson (of Jay Fox Productions) is the standard by which all others should be judged. We immediately clicked with him. He understood exactly what we were trying to achieve with the music at the wedding. His knowledge of music is encyclopedic (and so is his music collection.) He stayed true to his word and kept the crowd energized and dancing the entire night. Jeff also went above and beyond for us as well. At the last minute, we realized that we had no sound equipment for the rehearsal dinner. A quick email to Jeff and that problem was fixed. Not only did he bring the equipment but he also stayed and provided music for the affair as well. Thanks, Jeff! One thing that Jeff does, which we thought was incredible, is that at the end of the evening, he clears the room and the bride and groom get to have a private dance. He allows the photographer(s) and videographer to stay for the first minute or so to get some shots and then they leave. Then, it's just a few quiet, private moments together. I will tell you that after having spent the entire evening dancing, socializing, etc., it's very nice to have a private dance with your new spouse. It was the perfect way to end the reception. Jeff, you are a prince, sir. You made the evening a blast. We can't thank you enough.

I am very happy we booked with Jay Fox Productions for our wedding. Jeff was an awesome DJ and helped us decide the flow of the reception plus playing music for that and the ceremony. Myself and my husband have very eclectic tastes that included the Star Trek theme, Lord of the Rings music, classical and Cher that he understood and was able to cater to for my diverse guests. PLUS the custom monogram with projectors at the reception were beautiful with your lighting! Thank you Jeff for your work!

Jeff did an amazing job as our wedding DJ! From the very beginning, he was nothing but professional and met with us several times prior to the wedding to make sure it went as smooth as possible. My husband wanted to do a magic trick for our grand entrance, and when we filled Jeff in on our idea, he was all onboard and even helped come up with ideas on how to make it perfect...and it went off without a hitch! The dance floor was packed all night and we struggled to get our guests to leave the dance floor for the final send off! I would, without a doubt, recommend Jeff to anyone for their wedding DJ!

Jeff was INCREDIBLE! He wrote a personalize ceremony for my wedding that was beautiful! He was very involved with planning and made us feel incredibly comfortable. He kept us involved every step of the way and was such a joy to work with. I was able to get in touch with him every single time I needed to. He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect, and it was! I'd easily recommend him to any of my friends!

Wow!! Where do we begin... First off let me start by saying I have never written a review for anything in my life, nothing has been worth the time. Jeff is worth all of the time and money we have dedicated to this wedding! We have not even had our wedding yet and I have referred him to several of my friends. In the beginning, which was two years ago I got engaged,I honestly did not want to spend the money for a DJ and thought in a million years that I would get a DJ. I thought what would a DJ do, that I could do with all of the technology we have. BOY, was I WRONG!!!! My mom and I initially met Jeff at a wedding show one year ago. I was still hesitant on getting a DJ, but when my fiancee and I met him the first time, WE both fell in love with him! He was like family, he makes you feel like you are his own kiddos getting married! He has had so many AMAZING ideas that we have never seen or heard!! I would love to share, but I don't want to ruin the surprise for you before you meet with him. Both of our families are going to be extremely happy when the wedding comes! I can't believe I even thought I was not going to have a DJ, how foolish!!! He is more than a DJ, he also takes care of everything that happens at the wedding. For example, if your cake falls, he picks it up. He has been doing this for many, many years and we had an automatic trust with him. He is so personable and just so easy to talk to and get along with. He is genuine and will do whatever he can to make your day your own! We were able to meet with him many times from the time we first met until the wedding, which is not for another two weeks. Elu and I cannot wait until our day comes! Jeff you are AMAZING, and seriously we could not thank you enough. You have made this day more exciting than we could ever possibly imagine.

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding day! Jeff was very flexible and met with me as many times as needed to finalize special song requests and the order of events for the reception. He even stepped up and came to my rehearsal at the venue to help walk through the order and make sure things ran smoothly as my officiant was out of town that day. Our reception was more fun than I could have ever imagined! Our guests were on the dance floor with so much energy all night long until closing time. He was professional throughout the entire night and only approached us a few times to verify if a song request he received from a guest was approved by us. We loved the unique love note ceremony he did during the reception and our favorite part of the night was the last dance when he cleared out the guests and left himself to allow just my husband and I to dance to our song one last night. We highly recommend Jeff and can't thank him enough for giving us the reception of our dreams!

Jeff is amazing!!! He met with me many times before the wedding so it would go smoothly! 2 weeks before my wedding my face had an allergic reaction to a face wash I used and Jeff 1 week before my wedding bought me a facial to make sure I did not have anything wrong on my special day! Not only did he go above and beyond before the wedding but my wedding day was the best! I could not of had a better time at my reception! Everyone was dancing and having a great time!! I would recommend Jeff to anyone who is getting married!! Thank you Jeff for making my day so memorable!!

Austin and I got married this past weekend and Jay Fox was better than we could have ever hoped for!! He was able to get and keep everyone on the dance floor all night! I am not a dancer and he even got me on the dance floor! We had the best night and Jay Fox was a huge part of our dream wedding!!

My wedding night -- as most brides will attest -- was easily the best night of my life. If only I could have cranked it into slow-mo so that I could savor each moment of it--it went by so quickly! Jeff with Jay Fox Productions played such an integral part in our wedding day celebration. He made sure to play all of our requested songs, helped the flow of the entire event by announcing cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc, and had my guests young and old dancing all night long! It was hard for me to make rounds to all my guests because I kept finding myself out there dancing. Jeff is great to work with -- he almost becomes a "second planner," per se, in that he's more than just "the wedding DJ." He plays a much larger role in the overall day, helping with lighting, flow of activities, etc. I highly recommend his service!

I am grateful that Hayley of the Windsor recommended Jeff with Jay Fox Productions, LLC! Jeff was outstanding! During my reception every guest was on the dance floor having a blast because of Jeff’s music selection and skill! We didn’t want the reception to end because we were having so much fun dancing! Jeff knew exactly what to play, when to play it, and incorporated every song that my husband and I had requested. Jeff did something extremely special during the father-daughter dance, which was very unique and genius! He asked me to record myself saying something meaningful to my dad and then email it to him. I sent my recording to Jeff the day before my wedding, unsure if he would receive it in time. Lo and behold, during the father-daughter dance, and at the most perfect part of the song, Jeff played my voice recording! Everyone wept as it was such a beautiful moment for my dad and me! Jeff was professional and very patient with all our questions and requests. The ceremony and reception went beautifully. He was also the officiant and helped design a memorable ceremony.

I cannot say thank you enough!! You made our reception the best experience ever. You went over the top to make sure everyone was having a great time. I am so glad that you were able to be the DJ for our wedding, sorry Hawaii was canceled! The love note ceremony was a very nice touch and made the wedding just that more special, we cannot wait to open the bottle and read the notes (promise it will just be a shot and not a glass of whiskey). You are amazing!! :) We want to plan another party just to have you DJ again!

Before getting married, I attended a wedding where Jeff was the DJ and it was so much fun! I instantly knew that I had to have him DJ my wedding, and I am so glad I did! He kept the party going through the entire reception. Jeff gets a feel for the crowd and determines what music will keep a crowd on the dance floor, and it works!! I know I was on the dance floor most of the night, as were my guests! It was a blast! We met about 6 weeks before my wedding and talked and he helped me pick and choose between my list of songs. He was always easy to get ahold of when I had questions or concerns. I felt so comfortable, and knew music was the least of my worries on my wedding day because Jeff had it under control! If you want a reception where you and your guests will have a memorable, fun night, then this is your guy!!

Best DJ ever! He made our wedding perfect. He did the music for our entire wedding - from the ceremony to social hour, dinner to dancing! He also has a great personality to go with his talent!

Jeff has helped us with two Weddings and done a GREAT job! We does so much more than you would expect. We takes an interest in the whole event and gets to know the Bride and Groom so that he can provide a very unique and personal atmosphere!

Jeff was recommended to us by our venue, Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, and I am so glad he was! From our first meeting with Jeff, we knew he was the DJ for us.
