At one point the sounds from the neighboring banquet room's live band was coming through the wall and Jon really took charge and made sure they quieted down by the time our first dance arrived which was very much appreciated. After he got involved the noise from the other wedding was no longer a problem. We went with the Cube photobooth which really stands out with its bright changing colors in a dark banquet room. It was a huge hit! The sound from the speakers and the music selection was excellent and exactly what we envisioned. We would recommend JPW productions to anyone looking for a DJ or photobooth! we blanked on him when he asked what we wanted played, we gave him a few songs, said to play something along those lines throughout the night, and he hit the nail on the head. The music was exactly what we wanted, the crowd loved him, and everyone was up dancing. We are a little older (mid 30s), so sometimes it's hard to get people excited and dancing....but not this time! I highly recommend JPW for DJ and photobooth services. You will have a wonderful time, pay less than you could imagine for such a wonderful time, and your event will be a huge success. Initially, my husband did not want to have a DJ. Having a band was the only option. After doing some research, we quickly realized that having a band was way out of our budget. Not knowing much about local DJs, we fell back to the packet provid...
ed by our venue with their preferred vendors. After looking over prices and packages, we were down to 2 DJs for our wedding. We asked our venue coordinator which she preferred and her immediate response was “JPW. We contract him for our own family gatherings.” That was enough for us to make the initial contact with Jon.
We actually didn’t meet Jon until about 4 months after contracting due to a family members passing. Once we physically met with Jon, my husband was floored with Jon’s personality and professionalism. Jon was honest with us on what equipment we would need for our size wedding and venue. We were originally looking at one of his higher packages but he assured us a smaller package would do everything we wanted and more. We appreciate that he was genuinely looking out for what was best for our wedding and not just what would make him the most money.
The day of the wedding was great! We had Jon DJ, provide the CUBE photo booth and a Gobo with our names in it. Jon made sure everything stayed as close to our timeline as possible and the guests LOVED him! Even our aunt that dislikes everything commented on how much fun she had on the dance floor. The music was good all night and there were a ton of people still on the dance floor when the night ended. We LOVE the photo booth book Jon provides and used this instead of a guest book at our reception. The Gobo provided a great photo backdrop for reception photos and added that personal touch we were looking for.
I (the bride) became a professional wedding planner about a year into our 2.5-year engagement. Out of all of the DJs I have now worked with, Jon is my favorite. I will be recommending him to all of my clients for years to come.

s to emails quickly. His office was also in a convenient location for our final meeting. I had a lot of questions during the year and a half that we were engaged and Jon was able to answer them all without making me feel like a pest.
Jon arrived on time and everything was set up perfectly. His photobooth cube is new and was super cool to use! His attendant was very sweet and helpful and the props were fun. We got the photo guestbook as part of our package and we also got a flashdrive with all the pictures which was awesome! Our gobo was designed to our liking and it was so cool to see our name in lights. As an emcee, Jon was great. He kept the night flowing perfectly and went along with any changes that happened. His suggestions were always helpful and helped the night go smoothly.
In terms of music, it couldn't have gone better, Jon honored our requests and also gauged the guests to see what music worked and what didn't. The dance floor was packed the entire night! Jon and his assistant Phil really helped make our night and everyone complimented us on the awesome music selections. We had a do not play list and were glad to see they honored it! I was not worried for one single moment because I knew these guys had it under control.
We will recommend JPW for all events and weddings going forward! You will not regret it, there is not a better service in town for all of your wedding and event needs!

On the big day Jon came early to set up his equipment to make sure everything was in ship-shape. He also did our music for our ceremony which everyone loved as well as my wife and I. During the reception our guest loved his outgoing personality and liveliness. The guests also LOVED the Photo Booth (which Jon did a great job incorporating our Beauty & the Beast theme into).
When we met with Jon we informed him that we wanted to play the shoe game and asked him to make the list of questions and he had a great assortment.

om. Jon was by far one of our favorite vendors for our 10/17/14 wedding and the dance floor was never empty. He made the party! He also helped the atmosphere with a great Photo Booth for guests to enjoy, and uplighting to match our theme in the room. He meets with the couple to get a good feel of your personality and recommends that you do not pick each and every song of the night, as he likes to read the crowd. It was so nice to let him take control and take some decision making off our hands and know we could trust him. The attendant, Steve, was so personable and accommodating. Dinner was running late after a few lengthy speeches, which meant that our service would have started as dinner was being served. Steve came to me and asked if he could begin 1/2 hour late and stay 1/2 late in order to make sure we got our full 4 hours, which was so nice and unexpected.

Our reception was perfect. Jon basically becomes your wedding manager as he gives you warning and announces each major aspect of the night. Everything went so smoothly thanks to him! Jon recommended the Vitamin String Quartet for the cocktail and dinner hour. We received so many complements on the selection he played! All of our older guests loved the orchestra vibe and lower sound level, while all of our younger guests loved the modern songs played instrumentally. It was perfect. Throughout the 3ish hours after dinner, I do not think the dance floor was empty at any point. Jon had EVERYONE dancing! Even my 85 year old grandma!
