Based out of Tuscon, AZ, JW Photography brings a personal touch to all pieces of work. What makes me so unique is that I will attend to your every need from start to finish. I take great pride in being able to be apart of every aspect of the work. At the end of the day I want you to be happy and excited about it, because your happiness is my top priority! Moments pass by so quickly and cannot be replaced. Not only do I enjoy shooting as a photojournalist, I also love the look of a classic portrait. I feel a mix of traditional and non-traditional is the best way for me to capture a wedding. I want to work with people who hire me as an artist, who appreciate and trust my perspective.It is extremely important to me that you to like my work for a couple of reasons. These pictures will be with you the rest of your life. My pictures and my style needs to reflect your wants and needs for your wedding day. John gave us memories that we will never forget, but my only regret is that we didn’t have him longer to capture our ceremony. My husband and I opted to just have a ceremony and we have plenty of beautiful pictures courtesy of John, but we also...

missed out on pictures that could have been taken. If I could I would have opted to have him longer and not have it feel so rushed. We paid for 2 hours and it simply wasn’t enough. This is the biggest regret I still have months later. I recommend that if you do use John communicate to him what you desire in that moment because these events are once in a lifetime. Overall my husband and I were really happy with his photography. He did our engagement and wedding photos. The engagement photos were originally supposed to be taken at one location, but once I realized the place was in fact closed John at the very last minute was able to recommend another place to take pictures. He handled that with the utmost professionalism. The day of our wedding he took absolutely beautiful pictures. He was able to capture the joy of our friends and family as well as my husband and me. Again, my only regret is that we didn’t have John longer to take pictures of our whole wedding party together. The pictures felt rushed due to the size of our combined families. John kept it together as best he could that day and I could tell he was working with what he had. I just wish we would have had more time with him since we missed out on certain things. I will recommend him going further, but with the precaution that the allotted time you have with him is properly used the day of your big day.

I would recommend John to anyone! He did our engagement photos and worked so efficiently, catering to our needs. It was almost effortless for him to capture beautiful photos while providing instruction and still leaving us room to be ourselves.

home outside of regular business hours for our meet and greet. This " Meet & Greet " is something he does to get to know his clients in the comfort of their own homes. John also joined our families at our wedding rehearsal. He was very familiar with our Venue (Stillwell House & Garden) and did a walkthrough of the place with us discussing the plan for the wedding day, which included details of where we'll take pictures with the wedding party & where he'll stand during the ceremony to get the best shots. John's experience really did shine on our wedding day. He worked non-stop!!! He was by our side the entire time and kept reminding us to drink some water & eat some food in between all the chaos of the ceremony, taking family pictures, and greeting all the guest ( food and drinks was easily forgotten about being the bride and groom). He's also SO friendly ! His kind & calm demeanor is exactly what you need on your wedding day ! We got our pictures a few weeks later and they turned out great !! We couldn't thank John enough. THANK YOU JOHN !! You made our day so special !

As a photographer, I am constantly thinking of new ways to create art. Everywhere I go I am always studying light. It completely consumes my thinking, and I love it! I love using natural light when I can. I cannot wait to be apart of your amazing day!
