My husband and I booked associate shooter Rachel and second shooter Victoria via MLE Pictures. From start to finish, business owner Emily was nothing short of amazing to work with. Emily was prompt and responsive via email and via phone. She also provided valuable feedback throughout. Rachel took our engagement photos last year, and it was a total blast. Leading up to our wedding day, Rachel helped with scheduling and group photo break downs which was beyond helpful due to having many family members present that day. We spent quite some time talking and connecting which is so special in this process. Rachel was direct, creative, and fun. She also worked well with our videographer. Emily worked her magic on our engagement photo edits, and nailed the sneak peak photo edits. The whole process of working with MLE Pictures was seamless and enjoyable. Emily was our dream wedding photographer and she did not disappoint. Scroll through her website or instagram or request full portfolios from her and I think the work absolutely speaks for itself in terms of her talent. She is also incredibly professional and easy to work with. She’ll answer all of your questions and she’s flexible about getting the shots that you want - just ask!! If you have no idea what you want, she has no problem walking you through prompts and getting some gorgeous backgrounds and lighting. We had a smaller, more intimate wedding, and people said she was practically invisible yet got so many shots of hugging and laughing and playing that go far beyond the usual staged photos (bridal party, ceremony, family photos, etc). She was also willing to work with us on price to create a package that worked best for our wedding. We got married in June, and the Canadian wildfire smoke was particularly bad on our wedding day. Emily turned it into a positive, creating gorgeous shots with a hazy almost blurred background effect. While we couldn’t get her typical sunburst golden hour shots, she used what she had available (some nearby orange flowers) to create a similar effect that became some of my favorite photos from the day. She can help with your timeline or you can tell her where to be when and she will be ON IT. We had multiple venue changes and altered the timeline about a million times in the last two weeks before the wedding and she was always excited that we were excited and never complained about the changes. She also navigated coordinating with our videographer super well despite never working together before. We loved Emily and we will obsess over her photos of our wedding forever. If you book her, we know you will feel the same!

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! Not only is Emily incredibly talented behind the camera, she is also professional, kind, fun, and prompt. Emily and Claude made our day so much fun and helped to make everything run so smoothly. Emily got sneak peek photos to us the day after our wedding and the whole gallery was sent over quickly after that! We are so obsessed with our pictures and keep getting rave reviews from our friends and family. I am even hoping to hire Emily for future milestone events, such as a maternity shoot. You will not regret hiring Emily for your special day!

There aren't enough stars to give MLE! We've only received our sneak peak pictures and are blown away! They made all of our visions, including one slightly complicated first look, come true and I can't believe how beautiful everything has turned out. Rachel and John were the BEST to work with and we immediately felt like we were around old friends. We'll cherish these photos forever!

WOW! I am so blown away with Emily and Claude's work. They are the real deal!! They were one of the first vendors we booked and I am so glad we did!!! They are so fun and easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I don't know how they did it but our beach wedding pictures look like they are straight from a magazine!!! The sneak peak was sent the day after and guests are still commenting on how incredible the pictures are. Hiring MLE was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. A REAL-LIFE UNICORN. Emily is a magician with a camera. She was the first vendor we booked and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. Her responsiveness, kindness, professionalism, speed, and talent are unmatched. I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture the best day of my life. She made our day so much fun and made sure we got incredible shots outside despite it raining the day of. Our photos turned out magazine worthy and she got them back to us in record time. We eloped on a Tuesday in August and had the honor to have Emily as our photographer. After following her on Instagram for over a year, I just knew I had to have her capture our day. Beautiful, timeless photos!! Emily and I worked together recently on a wedding at the Bonnet Island Estate. The bride is my family friend, who had nothing but excellent things to say about Emily and her process. When I saw the engagement photos (which were absolutely stunning), I knew Brie and Andrew would be in excellent hands for their big day! On the day of the wedding, Emily was professional, fun and attentive. She captured the emotion of the day so well, from the getting ready photos, the ceremony, and the party! The bridal party was large, but Emily was able to maneuver the situation and captured the bridal party and the family photos with ease. I love when a photo gallery tells the story of the day, captures the emotions and allows you to relive your wedding day over and over again. Emily's gallery of Brie and Andrew's big day does exactly that. Yes, the photos are beautiful, timeless, stunning. I followed MLE years before I even got engaged because I just absolutely loved their photos and style. So as soon as I got engaged, it was the very first vendor we booked! From our engagement shoot to the wedding day, I could not have dreamed of a more incredible photographer to capture our wedding day. Emily & Claude are beyond talented and two of the sweetest, most down to earth people I have met. Our whole bridal party had such a fun time with them on the wedding day and I was truly sad to say goodbye to them at the end of the night. We received our sneak peek photos not even 48 hours after the wedding, and the full gallery about a week and a half later. Since I found MLE on Instagram I was obsessed with their work, and hiring them for our wedding day was one of the best choices we could have made! Emily and Claude were such a great part of our wedding day and we loved having them around; they made us feel so relaxed and excited throughout all of the photos and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We were lucky enough to work with Emily + Claude for our wedding and engagement photos and we are beyond thrilled with the experience! Their photography is stunning, engaging and really captures couples as they are - their photos truly transport you back to those big moments in time. Emily abs Claude were absolutely amazing to work with for both our engagement and wedding pictures. They captured our beach engagement shoot perfectly and we’re so open to our idea to do some with our dogs on a dog beach. For the wedding they did such a wonderful job, I truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Their moody vibe was exactly what I wanted and I have been told many times that the pictures look straight out of a magazine. I would recommend them again and again without a doubt.

Emily's photography style was exactly what I had pictured for our wedding photos. She was so much fun to work with for our engagement session- we were really nervous beforehand but she immediately put us at ease and genuinely had a great time. At the wedding, she and Claude were just an absolute delight and my husband and I felt like they were really mindful and efficient with the portraits so that we got to spend time with our guests while getting incredible photos. They captured every single detail of the wedding that was meaningful to us which was so delightful to go through when we got our photos back. Also the dance floor pictures were spectacular! Emily and Claude photographed our wedding so that you can feel the joy, laughter, and fun of the day in each picture and looking at them instantly transports me back. I don't know how she did it, but all the photos were edited and in my inbox the day after we came back from our honeymoon- a perfect remedy to post-wedding blues! I can't wait to hire them again in the future.

Emily and Claude are nothing less than amazing. As soon as my husband and I saw their previous work on Instagram we knew we had to hire them for our wedding. They are so fun and friendly making everyone feel at ease while also capturing BEAUTIFUL photos. During a busy wedding season they managed to share our photos in about 1 week! Emily is incredible - we actually hired her for our maternity photos and they came out better than we could have ever imagined. Our scheduled dates had actually been rained out twice and Emily was just so accommodating with her flexibility! We didn’t have much time left since the due date was just days away! We are beyond thrilled and feel so lucky she took our photos. They’ll be some of the pictures we cherish forever. We’ll be calling her for all of our future life milestones!! Emily and Claude were simply amazing. Well in advance of our wedding day, Emily was so responsive (she one time answered a random email 4 months in advance to help me figure out my timeline within FOUR minutes). On the day of, Emily and Claude were patient, helpful (going well beyond photographers’ duties more than once), and most of all, just fun to be around. We have only seen a handful of pictures since we just got married a few days ago, but I can already tell they are going to be absolutely fabulous. We are so thankful, Emily and Claude!!

Emily and Claude are incredible. I fell in love with their moody, glowy romantic photos the moment I saw their instagram account and was SO excited to have them as our wedding photographers. MLE Pictures was the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding! They captured our day so perfectly, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the beautiful photos we have to remember it by. Emily and Claude were absolutely incredible to work with - from working with us through changing our wedding date due to COVID (several times) to finally settling on a small reception in my parents backyard. Not only are they wildly talented and gave us the most stunning photos, but they made us feel so comfortable along the way. Having them at our wedding was more like having some really talented friends taking our pictures and hyping us up throughout the whole day. Would recommend these two 100x over - hiring them was the best decision that we made for our wedding and we're currently trying to find excuses to have photos taken again because they were just that good!

We did our engagement shoot with Emily, and it was so much fun - she really puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Emily and Claude quite literally made our wedding day the most memorable in every aspect of the meaning. I did a styled shoot with Emily years ago, and have worked with quite a few photographers over the years. When it came to our own wedding, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with MLE Pictures, not only for their incredible photo style that I adore and had fallen in love with, but they are the kindest, sweetest couple that are easy {and fun} to work with- they immediately make you want to be friends with them {so important for comfortability when taking photos!} We used them for our engagement photos as well as the wedding day. I can not even express how much I love all of the photos from both of these days. Photos were one of the most important elements to our wedding day, because I wanted the photographer to capture our love and relationship in a real, authentic way- the kind of way where you can feel through the photos. Almost three months later, & at some point every single day I am still looking at the stunning moments they captured, reminiscing over those perfect memories I will never forget. In addition, our wedding party and families LOVED working with them q’s well- they truly made our day the most special, and we would choose them over and over again. Emily & Claude were AMAZING! They’re both so down to earth and easy to get along with and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera right away. Our pictures came out so beautiful, people said they looked like they were out of magazine. They captured our day perfectly.

Literally amazing. Emily and Claude photographed our wedding day and Emily also did a mini-shoot with my husband and I for our holiday cards; both experiences exceeded our expectations. They are outstanding in so many ways, but I will give three examples. 1) First and foremost, they capture the most meaningful moments in a genuine and non-staged way, which allows the final images to transport you back to the moment instantly. Their work speaks for itself... it's just so good. 2) They were a blast to have with us all day and brought with them a relaxed and fun vibe, which actually enhanced our wedding day for us. 3) They are professional, responsive and very easy to work with. One more side note. I've experienced other photographer couples in the Philly area from friends weddings, many of which spent a good part of the day bickering about placement, timing, etc. Emily and Claude's chemistry was NOT that - it was awesome. They genuinely seemed like supportive and easy-going team, which is exactly what you want to see as an example on your own wedding day. We feel so lucky to have had them as our photographers and we cannot recommend them enough. We sincerely hope to be able use them again in the future for other family photo shoots!

My wife and I hired Emily and Claude for our wedding day and it was the best decision we made (other than getting married :) ) . They captured our perfect day so beautifully, we both cried happy tears upon receiving our photos. The character and beauty they saw in the day will give me visuals to hold onto for the rest of our lives. They are true heirloom photographers - these are photos we will pass on and on and on. Their customer service, attention to detail, eye for the shot and easygoing and fun attitudes made every moment we spent with them enjoyable. Wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture our day and we will be back to work with them as soon as I can convince my wife to a vow renewal (is six months too soon? Kidding! kind of....). We have had our engagement pictures with Emily and Claude and we're booking them for our upcoming wedding. I'll update after the wedding but for now I can gush about the engagement pictures. We mentioned to Emily when we were enquiring about booking that we are getting married in PA, but we live in Dublin, Ireland. Turns out that Emily and Claude happened to be on vacation in Ireland a couple of months later and so we had our engagement shoot in Dublin which was sooo special for us as that's not something we thought would be possible. Emily and Claude took time out of their vacation (with their adorable son) to come and shoot us on some cliffs in Ireland and never once made us feel like an inconvenience. We are pretty awkward kind of people and I was pretty nervous about looking really awkward and goofy on camera. Emily put us completely at ease and gave us a lot of direction which was exactly what we needed. Our photos are RIDICULOUSLY amazing. Genuinely looks like a magazine shoot. Our shoot location ended up being a little crowded but Emily made us feel and look like we were the only people there. I highly recommend having an engagement shoot with MLE before your wedding because once you have met them and shot with them once, you'll feel completely at ease. I now have 0 worries or anxieties about my wedding day photography. And who needs more things to stress about on their wedding day? Couldn't recommend MLE Pictures enough.

I originally contacted MLE pictures for our wedding day photographer after seeing their amazing work on Instagram! After talking to Emily I knew she and Claude were going to be a great team to work with. When my husband and I got our engagement photos back from a different photographer we weren’t so pleased so we reached out to MLE pictures to see if they were available to do our engagement photos at the last minute. Surprisingly, Emily and Claude were in NYC one weekend and which made it very convenient for us since my husband and I work in NYC. Emily and Claude were so great to work with even during extreme weather conditions (95+ degrees summer days to freezing fall days!) This duo went above and beyond my expectations with their amazing photos and down to earth personalities.

MLE photographed our wedding and our son’s newborn shots. They are incredible. Our pictures turned out so beautiful and they were beyond wonderful to work with. They’re so easy to work with and true artists. I chose to not have a videographer at our wedding and Emily and her husband were able to capture our wedding night perfectly without it. Emily is absolutely amazing and created unique and beautiful engagement and wedding photos for my husband and I. We feel so lucky to have had Emily & Claude capture and document the best day(s) of our lives. My husband, Phil, and I attended a wedding that Emily and Claude shot. Phil was a groomsman in the wedding and for many reasons he was very pleased with their work. After seeing the first of many fun and beautiful pictures posted from Steve and Steph’s wedding we didn’t hesitate to snag MLE for our big day too. Fast forward 11 months, we’re at Secrets Akumal in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Emily and Claude’s relaxed and warm demeanor paired with the lush and tropical atmosphere of Mexico made for the perfect ambiance to celebrate with all of our family and friends. Though we know it probably wasn’t the easiest task handling 11 & 12 groomsmen and bridesmaids, Emily felt like a bonus bridesmaid and Claude kept the guys in line. Their eye for detail is a quality you simply can’t put a price tag on. We are thrilled with the experience we had with MLE Pictures and are exceedingly happy to have such amazing wedding and vacation pictures to cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot put into words how happy I am that I chose to work with Emily and Claude for my wedding! Before the wedding they agreed to meet us for drinks so that we would feel more comfortable on the wedding day. Emily was so responsive and helpful when planning, and had great advice for shots and timing. On the actual day Emily and Claude made myself and my husband (who HATES taking pictures) feel so comfortable, it was such a joy to work with them. My whole wedding party commented on how fun they are and how hard they were working! The pictures we have seen so far are absolutely breathtaking, and I cannot wait to see the rest! We recently used MLE Pictures for our engagement shoot and wedding day, and I can’t say enough good things about them! Our pictures were so beautiful, and we have received so many compliments from family and friends. Emily and Claude are so personable, kind and easy to work with. Taking intimate pictures can be awkward, but never with Emily and Claude -- they provide an ease and a fun element that allows you to get lost in the moment and they capture the most amazing shots. I can’t recommend them enough. They came highly recommended , and I’m so glad we decided to have them shoot our wedding. I really can’t imagine our wedding day without them now. We used MLE pictures for our October outdoor wedding and loved them! My husband and I are both not great with posed pictures but Emily helped us feel relaxed and spent the day capturing all the natural moments that meant so much to us. The pictures showcased the rustic beauty of our venue and they even did a great job making sure our "kids" (2 dogs, one is a quite uncooperative bulldog) were well represented. We would definitely recommend MLE to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

We got a package that included an engagement shoot and an album as well. The engagement photos were so pretty. We didn't know where we wanted to have them, or what we wanted to do and Emily and Andy gave us some great suggestions. Our engagement photos turned out super unique. I do agree with their description of boutique, vintage photography. Our wedding photos were so nice. I am excited to share them with family and friends. They really captured the night and were easy to talk to about any concern that I had (before and during the wedding). They got in all of the shots I wanted and even more! They are very creative and great people. I am super happy with the pictures since they captured the experience so well!

Emily and her husband Andy were wonderful to work with on our wedding day! I loved that we were able to have a second shooter during the ceremony and so that we could have photos of both the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready. Emily and her husband were perfect. First, when we met them to discuss the day, they made us feel really comfortable that they knew what they were doing and that our photos would turn out awesome. Their available packages were reasonably priced and perfect for what we needed. I didn't have much experience in hiring a photographer but I knew I had found a perfect match. She even allowed us to add an additional half hour of time so we could capture additional getting dressed photos at a fair price! And anytime I had a question or request, she was available by email and responded quickly! The day of, you could tell that they knew what they were doing. We had a very tight timeline for photos (and a surprise rain shower mid-photos) and they made sure that we got all the shots that we wanted and needed. The shots were unique in composition and posing but so much fun! We had a great time! The photos are amazing! Some of the compliments we got were "looks like a magazine shot", "amazing lighting", "captured the moment perfectly" and "absolutely perfect". I couldn't ask for more perfect pictures or a better photographer.

Emily and her husband are awesome and so easy to work with... she is newer into the field and is obviously learning a lot and fast... I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a fair price but still looking for quality pictures.

MLE Pictures is excellent! My husband and I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional and personable people to photograph anything. They did our wedding in August 2012 and we are completely happy with the service they provided. The pictures and album turned out beautiful. This was a second wedding for both of us and we really didn't want to spend a whole lot. MLE Pictures has a number of packages to choose from that are perfect for the budget conscious bride and groom.
