wedding photographs. They went above and beyond and sent us a lovely canvas to hang that is my favorite! I think our ceremony shots are beautiful and they got all the pretty shots by the weeping tree that I wanted. they were familiar with the Osprey's and moved a bench that I didn't like so we could get the pictures we wanted by the tree. and offered to meet for coffee to hear mine and my husband's story. I was impressed! Professional yet personal. I had already looked through their online gallery and was blown away. I NEEDED photos of me and my husband like the ones they had taken of other couples! The holidays were approaching so we never got to meet in person, but I talked to Scott at length about how my husband and I met, what we picture for our wedding and what I wanted to get out of these photos. Price was a factor for me, but I was surprised at how reasonable their estimate was. I opted for an engagement session as well and I'm so so glad we did. My husband and I met Scott and Nikki in Clifton, VA for our engagement shoot. We all clicked immediately and our sense of humors fell in line too. Despite the 90 degree day we picked, our engagement pics turned out beautiful! My husband and I had never done a "professional photo session" (aside from a seated session at a cookie cutter place in the mall) so we were uncomfortable initially. Scott and Nikki put us at ease and we were able to really enjoy the session. Happy to have already met Scott and Nikki prior to our wedding day, we were relieved to already "know" them the day of the wedding. They ensured to capture every photo we requested and a ton more. The duo ensured somebody was with us the entire evening. Scott even offered to take pics with people phones when we were mingling in addition to his professional ones. The entire night was captured beautifully. We have over 1200 images from our big day and the full rights to all the photos. I have printed hundreds (literally) and framed several throughout the house. Pictures were always important to me but especially the candid moments captured by Nikki. My wedding ended up being the last big "event" my Grandma attended and she passed away a few months after. The pictures we have with her are absolutely priceless, I am so appreciate of those hidden moments they made sure to capture. I recommend Nichole Haun Photography to EVERY engaged lady I meet. We will ALWAYS use them in the future :) I'd give 10 stars if it was an option.

r big day. Most of our communication leading up to the wedding was via email, which was very convenient for us given our busy schedules. A month before the wedding, they gladly met us for our wedding walkthrough at the venue. We didn't have a wedding planner, so their input was helpful in putting together a realistic wedding day schedule. Our wedding was at a botanical garden, so they patiently walked the grounds with us to identify where we wanted each of the various group photos taken. During the engagement shoot and wedding day, their upbeat energy kept us laughing and smiling. It was simply a blast to be with them. Our family and bridal party also commented how at ease they felt in front of their camera. We are most excited that they worked with us to capture extended family group shots. We must have had more than 50 members in one of them, and they managed to arrange everyone and capture a fantastic shot. Since weddings are filled with so many family and friends to dance and talk with, Nichole and Scott came to us at the end of the night and asked to get some pictures of us (the bride and groom) dancing together since we were missing these. I'm so glad they mentioned this because those pictures turned out to be so wonderful. Lastly, we really appreciated how they let us know when their time was almost up and asked if we wanted any other specific pictures taken. They captured our special day perfectly and we have nothing but good things to say about Nichole Haun Photography.

ly competent. Scott was helpful and responsive, in addition to being a great assistant to Nichole. They were recommended to us by a friend of Luca’s who does wedding videography (Rachael Curry). We both agree using these photographers was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. We have received numerous compliments about the photos. However, what matters most to us is that we love them as a true representation of how we felt and what we experienced on that day! The photos were creative, but also had excellent composition and lighting. We cannot recommend these wonderful people more strongly! A final note: we have been to weddings where the photographer was pushy or wasted time. This was the OPPOSITE of what we experienced, which was one of the main reasons she was recommended to us.

ct together. In terms of their style, they work very well together. Very seamless and you really don't notice them throughout the ceremony or reception, which was nice that they blended in. They are also fun, yet incredibly professional. We thought our pictures turned out great, and neither of us consider ourselves to be photogenic. I believe we had over 500 photos, with lots of shots of both ourselves and our guests. They truly captured the highly important moments of the evening, which in our minds is of course why you even hire photographers to begin with. And that continued throughout the day and night. They acted as an extension of our wedding party, making the day’s timeline work even with setbacks, and were so effortless in their ability to capture all our photos, offering up ideas and willing to take photos anywhere. I had originally picked them in looking at their work online—full of life, candid moments, color, and amazing couple shots. From the preliminary photos I’ve seen, I can already tell I’m going to fall in love with our photos! To this day I still hear compliments about Nichole and Scott from wedding attendees and family. I’d recommend them to anyone a hundred times over!

t shoot and took the time to drive quite far from her home to shoot us at our chosen location. We were very nervous to get our photos done because we are not very "smooth in front of a camera", but she directed us beautifully. Nichole stayed interested in how we were doing all the way up until it was time to plan for the wedding. Her organization made my bride's mind at ease, and I felt confident that my day would be perfect. During our formal photos, Nichole and Scott were great directors and made sure that everyone was in the right place at the right time. They even adventured with us into a meadow (Scott drove the golf cart like a pro) so that we could get great natural shots while I channeled my inner Elizabeth Bennet. We received our gallery while on our honeymoon and we were blown away. Not only did they capture the feeling of our day, but they managed to capture incredible moments between our guests that we will be giving as photo gifts for many years to come. chole and Scott, you get amazing photos to share with family (or to use for a save the date) and you'll be more comfortable taking a million photos on your wedding day. Nichole and Scott are such professionals-- they responded quickly to emails, accepted payment in installments, they were able to wrangle our large families, they arrived early and they delivered simply stunning photos less than 3 weeks after our wedding (the photos were up on her blog less than a week after the wedding!). Nichole even came to my rescue when we had difficulty bustling my dress. I couldn't have asked for anything more-- they were simply the best! Working with them was a dream and that is super important when you are booking a vendor for such an important day.

ching I initially fell in love with her style of photography and after contacting the couple, I knew they would be great for our wedding! Nichole and Scott were very easy to work with and very accommodating to the fact that I was not living in the country through most of the planning. They were also extremely accommodating to our budget and we can't thank them enough! The only thing I wish I could've changed was to be able to meet them in person before the wedding. We just didn't have time to do this, but I would've liked to have them get to know us as a couple. The day of: We were on a budget and weren't able to afford a whole day of photography so they showed up an hour or 2 before the wedding. From the moment they arrived they went to work. Scott photographed the guys and Nichole stayed with the ladies. She was energetic and fun the whole time and snapped shots of everything. After the wedding: We ordered a book from them and eagerly awaited our photos. It took 2 months to get our photos online and I think another month for our book. WE LOVE EVERYTHING! They captured everything we wanted captured and the book, designed by them, was beautiful. All of our friends tell us how beautiful the photos are and anyone who has seen our book has mentioned how jealous they are of it. I can't say enough good things about this couple and would recommend them to any of my friends.

sts- which made everyone happy (especially my parents)! My wedding was very unique in that my parents are of Afghan heritage and my husband is American. Therefore, while my wedding was geared towards the Afghan culture, I had to still incorporate many American traditions-which made everything so much more difficult. Nichole did not have prior experience in photographing an Afghan wedding and as most know, many ethnic weddings (Afghan, Persian, Indian, Bengali, etc.) have a lot of details that we all want captured. Nichole did an excellent job of capturing both the traditional Afghan parts of my wedding as well as the American aspects of it (which I do not believe is an easy task): she met with me well in advance of my big day and asked me detailed questions about the day of my event-especially regarding the Afghan traditions. She took detailed notes and really tried understanding what the meaning behind each traditional ceremony/event was. Even if Nichole has not had the experience photographing one of your ethnic weddings before- don't worry, because she will still do an amazing job! She listens and takes detailed notes and is very attentive to the bride- because of this she is able to capture the traditional aspects of a wedding,exactly as they are suppose to be captured. I changed a lot of things last minute (as far as when certain traditional events occurred) but she handled it all so well. On the day of my event, she showed up to my hotel room earlier than was planned and took such great pictures of me getting ready. Then we had a photography session at the hotel (since it was raining and dark outside) before going to the venue. My husband is not very good at posing for pictures and hates being photographed but Nichole was so easy and great to work with, that she made the experience great for my husband, as well. I think the best part about my experience with Nichole was that I did not hire a videographer for my wedding- which I regretted every day since my wedding. Then I received all my pictures from Nichole and both my husband I felt that we literally re-lived everything about our wedding through the photos. After seeing all the photographs, I felt fine as far as not hiring a videographer since Nichole (through her photography) captured my entire event so well! I also felt like I was working with a friend I had known for many years. She has an amazing personality and my family and friends all loved her as well. I cannot wait for other huge events in my life, because I will definitely use Nichole Haun Photography to capture such moments. I HIGHLY recommend her and her staff. You will not be disappointed.

ages. What is more important is how much she loves being able to capturing special moments at her events, for me it was my wedding and it is so obvious in how her photos turn out. She was able to have all of our photos on CDs as well as our wedding album to us within a few weeks of our wedding. It was so nice to not have to wait endless weeks or months to see the results. Even better was how she put up sneak previews online of the photos she had edited, which made us super excited to see the rest of it!! My favorite shots are the exchanging of the rings and "the kiss" and how she made sure that both myself and my husband were front and center. She was really good at having our families involved in the whole process and made sure to include the special requests of pictures we had. The final result is way better than we could have imagined and we would ask her to photograph the day again and again!
