They also provide a 30 day coordinator in your package. Stacy Chapman was our coordinator and I could not say enough good things about her. She was so amazing. My now husband and I keep saying that we would love to get married there again just to work with her again. She took care of everything for us! Overall a great place especially on a budget.

the on-site cabins for the weekend, and we loved that the party didn't have to stop at the reception. I cannot thank Stacy, the event coordinator from R-Ranch, enough for being a part of our day. She was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process, working hard to make sure all vendors were in place. She was flexible and very fun to be around. We've gotten many compliments from family and friends about how smooth the day went, and both Max and I know our day truly would not have been as special without her help!

what I would have responded. She kept our day flowing beautifully, was incredibly helpful and if there were any hiccups that day, she handled them all and we were never the wiser. I would highly recommend Stacy! So much so, that I remarked to a friend that when/if I ever start my own wedding venue, Stacy would be the first person I would call to work with me!

If there were any problems on my wedding day, I didn’t hear a word about them, and she took care of everything. The pricing for the venue was very fair, coming with plenty of decor to use day of as well. Definitely the most stunning and fair priced of all the wedding venues I toured in the Dahlonega area. If you get married here you absolutely will not regret it!

nd never once did she make me feel like an inconvenience. You can tell she is extremely experienced with coordinating weddings and I can highly, highly recommend her. I was in such great hands. On the wedding day, there is so much happening. I didn’t have my phone on me at all and I didn’t have to worry or stress about vendors and the wedding timeline. She understood family dynamics and put my mind at ease, even the “little” things she was on top of it all. She even showed up earlier than discussed to help set up… Everytime we recapped, she was taking notes and did not miss a beat. It was refreshing and reassuring to me that she captured my “vision” and delivered it all to a T. There’s so many things that could have essentially gone wrong on the wedding day, but Stacy made sure the day went perfect. I felt so at ease. I could type an essay of everything she did, but just know you’re in great hands when doing your wedding at R ranch. The venue itself is beautiful. You have the views and the building/facility is breathtaking. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing and it was all thanks to Stacy and the staff who helped make it all happen.

er, a owner at the R-Ranch. We were very happy with the Coordinator. We were pleased until it came to the Incedental $250 deposit. The Accountant sent our refund to my mother, our contract clearly states that I was their client, not my mother. Now they are telling us that it is common practice to give refunds to a owner at the R-Ranch. I guess the R-Ranch feels that they Dont Have to Honor Contracts. This is so disappointing. Be very careful when you sign any contracts with the R-Ranch for they use common practice over Black and White Signed Contracts.

astures, to the national forest—You can’t beat the natural beauty of the R-Ranch. The lodge is gorgeous as well. It has floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. On top of that, there’s loads of white icicle lights draped from the ceiling. You could do zero decorating to R-Ranch lodge & it would still be a beautiful wedding venue. The setting made for incredible photos & I have received countless messages from people on Facebook asking, “Where did you get married?!”. 2. Stress free coordination: I was nervous about not having a wedding coordinator, but it wasn’t necessary at all with Denise, the R-Ranch facilities/events coordinator. This isn’t her first rodeo & she was there the whole weekend to help with all of our setup & breakdown needs. We told her what we envisioned with the layout, connected her with our caterer, and she made it happen from there. Every thing was exactly where it needed to be. All we had to do was decorate, and she helped our family with that too. There's also a supply closet full of decorations that we were free to use (e.g., candle holders, burlap table runners, vases). I was able to drop off all our décor days before the wedding and we had until Sunday night to get everything out. Such a relief! 3. Price: My husband's family are R-Ranch members, so we certainly appreciated the member discounted rate… especially because our wedding day was a “wedding weekend” (rehearsal dinner, wedding, & Sunday brunch). However, the non-member wedding packages are quite reasonably priced. 4. Guests can stay onsite: If you're guests are into "glamping" (glamorous camping), it's a perfect venue for a weekend getaway! It's like summer camp--nightly campfires & no-one has to drive!

Can't begin to thank Denise enough for all her hard work and help. We are just as married and probably more in love than folks who go out and pend $20K to say I do.

ing a Sunday morning wedding and wanted to have a Saturday lunch rehearsal. We got a call this morning that we can only have the venue for Saturday evening and Sunday morning because they have another event that was scheduled. Funny that it wasn't scheduled two months ago when we paid our deposit to have it for the whole weekend. So now I'm looking for a new venue so we don't have this issue again with R Ranch. Absolutely ridiculous and do not recommend.

ts didn't get enough to eat. The room for the bride to get ready in was being used the day of the wedding after they told us it would be free, so I had to get ready in the public restroom. We had people coming in before and during the wedding that just wanted to see what the facility looked like and weren't our guests at all. The manager had told them that there was a wedding going on and that they could come and take a look at how it was decorated because they were thinking about having their wedding at the same location.
