~Due to where I live I had to pick a photographer solely based on reviews, based on which I had high hopes. During the planning process Steph set goals for us to meet prior to the wedding. She was very helpful in determining a timeline and accommodated both groups getting ready at separate locations, as well as a last minute location switch. She was hardly noticeable during the ceremony/reception which was fantastic. ~There was minimal contact after the wedding except for the sneak peak which consisted of 11 photos. The contract stated "Please allow me between 4-8 weeks for delivery of the final gallery, depending on the time of year. I always aim to finish sooner but during the busy wedding months it may take me the full time". The "full time" of 8 weeks would have delivered my gallery on Jul 27. I did not hear anything back until almost a full month after that deadline, with the final delivery of photos on Sep 3. If there was an anticipated delay in delivery that would breach the signed contract (whether by one day or 5 weeks) I would expect to receive some communication with an explanation and apology without having to seek one out myself. When I finally received the gallery I was told a gift would be sent as the photos were late, which had not been received as the date of this review which is over two months later. ~For the amount of money that was spent on this company, the number of images was okay but the quality was not what I was expecting. For example, I received only one picture of certain poses, with people's eyes closed or unequal spacing between people. Some pictures were received in B&W but not color. I would expect the photographer to control the group and give direct instructions to individuals to make sure everyone looks their best and is ready for the photo to be taken. Despite being reassured that overcast is the best weather for pictures, the sky does not help the pictures appear vibrant. Lighting was edited on the pictures but issues such as wardrobe malfunctions (and people wearing sunglasses), fly-aways and and other imperfections were not. ~Also from the contract "All miles in excess of 50 miles roundtrip have a $50 fee + $.55 per mile" for your reference (It was waived in this case as I did not need the engagement session that was included). In my opinion the quality of photos, lack of prompt communication and professionalism were not worth the hefty price tag.

Ugh, Stephanie. My husband and I booked Stephanie in November of 2017 for our October 2018 wedding. Neither my husband or I are comfortable in front of a camera, but she made it so easy to just look in love? The photos she captured for our engagement session were wonderful! BUT.... I waited 12 weeks to my engagement photos back. After sending countless "nice" emails, I sent her one that was not so nice and she promptly responded saying she had forgotten to send the album- she sent our full album that same day. Fast forward a year later and we're dealing with the same issue but this time it's with our actual wedding photos. We were married on October 20th of 2017 and received our facebook-uploaded sneak peek on Nov. 11th. The 15 photos were enough to keep me on my toes for awhile but here we are, 15 weeks post wedding date and I've still not received my album. I don't want to discredit her work because her photos are beautiful and she's so much fun the day of the wedding and during engagement photos! So, if you have the patience to stand the wait- absolutely book Stephanie, she's a joy to work with when she's responding to emails and uploading albums (:

We originally booked Stephanie to do just our engagement photos, but she did such an amazing job we asked her to shoot our destination wedding in Mexico. The way she uses natural light to capture a special moment is breathtaking. I can not say enough nice things about Stephanie and the exceptional work she does. She is very friendly but gives great direction to capture the perfect photo-or 100! We still have people saying our engagement and wedding photos were some of the most beautiful they have seen. We love Stephanie's work so much that she is now our family photographer. She has done our charity events and will be doing my brothers wedding next year. You will not find a more dependable, friendly and just plain wickedly talented photographer for your local or destination wedding than Steph! Thanks again!!!

Stephanie did both our engagement photos and our wedding day shots. She's extremely quick about going through and getting an amazing sneak peek up for you to look at. The day of, both she and her additional photographer did a great job wrangling a group of obnoxious groomsman and cooperative bridesmaids into amazing pictures. She's extremely quick to respond to emails, kept the day on track by working closely with our venue and day of contact on the timeline, and took amazing photos. She definitely helped to make our wedding day special.

Stephanie was awesome to work with! Her prices were reasonable and the quality of her work is spectacular. Very impressed! Would definitely recommend.

As much as I would love to give Stephanie five stars because of the beautiful pictures I received, I simply cannot. When I originally wanted to book Stephanie for my wedding she responded promptly for us to sign the contract and our deposit. With our package we selected, it included an engagement session. After a few months passed from originally booking Stephanie and signing her contract, I emailed her about availability to set up our engagement session. Weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything so I emailed again. When she didn't respond right away I posted on her Facebook page asking if she has been getting my emails. She responded quickly to my facebook post and then emailed me back after I posted it on her public page. I responded asking for availability dates and once again NEVER heard back. I didn't feel I needed to pull teeth to get my session, so I had to pay someone else on top of what I already dropped for my wedding photographer. I was a bit worrisome with the communication I was receiving and if I was even going to have a photographer the day of my wedding. It’s safe to say we never got our engagement session that was part of our package. As my wedding was coming closer, I had emailed Stephanie about if I could pay her in full now as I had the money. Again, weeks went by before a response. Now I know we all are busy, but replying to an email takes maybe two minutes. I emailed again after a few weeks in hopes i would then again receive an answer. Nothing right away. I then went to Stephanie’s Facebook page to post to see if she was receiving my emails again since I received such a quick response from her this way last time. That day my post was deleted for what I’m assuming is because she didn’t want others to see the lack of communication I was experiencing. She did finally email me after that allowing me to pay for the wedding. I did receive beautiful photos of my wedding, a 5/5, however the lack of communication was a MAJOR turnoff, a 0/5 in my eyes, and I never received my engagement session that was paid for in my package. It would of been nice to at least be either compensated for that or an acknowledgement that we didn’t get that after trying for months to reach out to Stephanie.

We were SO thankful we went with Stephanie for our wedding and engagement photos! They turned out absolutely FLAWLESS! She truly captured the joy, and love on our wedding day! An added bonus was that Stephanie was incredibly easy to work with- she felt like a friend on our wedding day! I would HIGHLY recommend!!

YES YES YES!!! Stephanie is incredible! Her photography is bright, whimsical, and timeless. She captured our love during a beach-side engagement session and on our very special wedding day! Steph always made us feel relaxed, she gave instruction, and she truly cares about you enjoying the moment. We would absolutely recommend her as a photographer to future brides and grooms - her photos are EVERYWHERE in our home now and will be treasured forever! Thank you, Stephanie!!!

I'm so happy I found Stephanie to capture our engagement pictures and wedding day. She's super awesome at her job and I loved how our pictures turned out. Her attention to detail is spot on. She also was very good with directions when posing for pictures whether it was just me and my husband or a large group of family members.
