Our wedding was outside in August and I was extremely concerned that our cake would not last in the heat since the latest delivery time was about a half hour before our ceremony started. However, the cake stood up beautifully! When there was a mishap with our top tier being given to another couple by the hotel, Cake Gallery remade our top tier perfectly for us to save. My only considerations include, 1) seems like they handle a large volume of weddings each weekend, so at times it feels like its not overly personalized and 2) it was at times difficult to get in contact with The Cake Gallery. With that said, no balls were dropped or items missed, so I really have no complaints.

Once I was able to connect with someone, I was given an email address to communicate further - send pictures, confirm details, etc... but they were less than responsive. I don't live in Omaha, so I would reach out weeks or days in advance to confirm appointments and would not hear back. This led to unmet expectations when we showed up for the appointments, as they were sometimes not prepared to discuss our questions. We were ultimately pleased with the end result, but this vendor added unnecessary stress through their poor communication & customer service. Unfortunately, I would not use them again.

They will meet with you beforehand and let you try different flavors. My husband and I ended up having 3 different cake flavors to offer our guests a variety, and they were all delicious.
