Although I think they’re out of business now, THEIR CAKE WAS THE BEST TASTING. HANDS DOWN. I absolutely LOVED my wedding shower cakes and wedding cake! They were delicious, beautiful works of art. I hope they bring their business back. I’m havi...

As a life long resident of Fenton, I've had French Confection cakes since the '90s. The wedding cake was even better than their smaller cakes for birthday parties and showers. Maybe because it has additional layers or something but it was just ...
delicious. The decoration was pretty and she matched the design on my dress. They also have the silver cake stands for rent. I know raspberry is their best seller, but go with the Chocolate Cloud. It was too die for. You know how some wedding cake is dry, or maybe it has that shortening based frosting like you get a grocery store bakery. French Confection has the best cake and frosting. You don't need other desserts when you have a cake from The. French Confection. I was worried the buttercream may be too cold or even frozen. It was perfect. To give you an idea of how amazing this cake tasted... my bridesmaid, who needed several inches taken in on her Size Zero dress... had 3 slices at the wedding. I was sad to leave on my honeymoon because it meant I couldn't continue to eat the leftovers all week. Right now,as I write this, I'm tempted to drive 300 miles back to Fenton just to stop by and buy some cake. We also did their chocolate turtle cake for the rehearsal dinner dessert. Yum. How many more days til my birthday?

The cake looked awesome and it was absolutely delicious! I couldn't believe how big each slice was! She was great to work with as well! Highly recommended!

My daughter insisted on using French Confection for her wedding cake. Since the reception was a 3 hour drive from the bakery that meant she would not have a traditional multi-layer wedding cake. (We did not want to pay for their drive time) ...
She opted instead to have a number of 14 inch round tortes and I have never tasted a cake, much less a wedding cake that was so good. They did a beautiful job decorating it as well. Now I understand why my son in laws family only uses French Confection for their cakes.
