The Grape Leaf, a local Lebanese restaurant, catered our wedding.
The food is ethnic (neither of us are Lebanese), but it is not so ethnic that nobody will eat it. We had several very very picky guests who tried the food for the very first ...time and who could not stop talking about how great and fresh it was. We received dozens and dozens of compliments from friends and family, including a recently married couple who said they wished they had served Grape Leaf!
The presentation is beautiful and the food unique and delicious.
The best part though, has to be the price per head. I ordered their basic catering package, which includes two kinds of salad, hommus with pita, grilled veggie kabobs, grilled lemon garlic chicken kabobs, and upgraded to beef tenderloin kabobs - all for $9 a head.
Ask for Arbid.
A word of caution - that price does not include dishes, servers, silverware, etc. However, they will be more than happy to work with you and arrange for those things through their contacts with rental companies. For example, they got us all the tablecloths we needed at very discounted rates.
