The Treman Center

The Treman Center was the dream location for our Ithaca wedding in September - between the mountains, the open field, the ceremony spot, and the gorgeous stone patio, we were able to have our entire wedding on her property, with each portion of it feeling unique and lovely. We visited and just got that "this is it!!" feeling in 2016, and spent the next year planning with Leslie and her team. Leslie was an incredible partner - she worked with me to create the perfect vendor team to pull off our rather large wedding on her property. She was flexible, and knows the event scene in Ithaca extremely well, which was ideal for us, since we were planning remotely! The vendors she recommended were incredible, and she doesn't ever recommend anyone lightly. She cares immensely about her property and works hard to make sure that every event there is excellent. I loved that my husband and I were able to stay on the property after the wedding - she even made us coffee in the morning! It was a dream from top to bottom. The Treman Center was the absolute most perfect place to host my entire wedding weekend. From the moment I walked inside I saw my entire event come to life. It was the exact place that I needed to accomplish the extremely personal and unique wedding I had always envisioned. I ended up working with the owner, Leslie for nearly two years throughout my engagement. She was always willing to let me come by and helpful with any questions I needed. I'm very thankful to have had her on my "team." She helped cut flowers and do centerpieces, light candles, set up decor, gave advice and coordinated with all my vendors on the actual day of the wedding. We rented the venue for the whole weekend, starting on Friday morning. We showed up with a trailer full of stuff from flowers to furniture to lanterns to essentially move in for 3 days. We spent the whole day painting this blank canvas while love music played in the background. For a creative person like me, it was so much fun (and a lot less stressful) to have an entire day to set up. Then we had our rehearsal on the actual ceremony site which was really helpful. My bridesmaids and I had a "Bridesmaids" movie screening and sleepover the night before on the top floor which doubles as a bridal suite. It was fantastic to literally get out of bed and go downstairs and keep working on things that didn't get done the night before. Once everything was set up, we all got ready. The photographers arrived and my husband's family and it was such a nice place to have everyone come to because there's so many different nooks and crannies. It was such a fun day even before the wedding started. Then the wedding was just a complete dream, everything went so perfectly. I could go on and on but basically, the bottom line is that this place is amazing. If you're looking for a venue to craft and make your own then The Treman Center is it.

The Treman Center served as an amazing location for our entire wedding weekend. We hosted our rehearsal dinner there Friday evening, and then had the Wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday evening. Leslie was so accommodating and made everything run incredibly smoothly. A winter wedding, we successfully fit 100 guests, a band, and catering inside the two floors of the venue with plenty of room for dancing. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and artistic space to host their event.

From the moment you step onto the property you can feel that this place is something special. We only had to look at one venue for our wedding, and this was it. There is so much passion, heart, and unique creative flare that has gone into the creation of the treman center it would be hard not to be awe struck. We could not have imagined a more perfect setting for our wedding. Every one of our guests complimented the venue. We were able to rent the treman center all weekend which really helped personalize our experience by having our friends and family there for the rehearsal dinner, and Sunday morning brunch. Having this option really separates this place from other venues. You are not just a number. Also, we had the option to decorate and have it catered however we specifically wanted. Leslie really helped us work out the fine details and make sure the day ran smoothly. Leslie and Kevin have literally put their hearts into every inch of this space and it just radiates. We could never thank them enough for really making our day the best day of our lives. Forever thankful, Andrea
