I have been shooting weddings for 15+ years and love to provide the best service and photography for each of my couples. I love documenting your day with beautiful images that your grandchildren will be looking at! My style is romantic, joyful, organic, and very editorial. I am inspired by beautiful colors, interesting textures, and compositions that will make art to hang on your wall. I am in love with golden light and natural smiles as well as those in-between moments that are always my favorite photos. Whether it's a wedding, and engagement, a portrait session, or even the celebration of an anniversary, I love the connection between people and I love to capture photos that I know my clients will be looking at for years to come. I am currently based in the beach town of Oceanside, California and I travel to see my clients all over San Diego County, North County, and Southern Orange County.

I don't even know where to begin! I reached out to Heather about a year ago after seeing such amazing reviews. I had no idea what I was doing or how to go about finding good vendor...
s for a destination wedding. I did know, however that the gallery on her website was exactly the type of photos I wanted for our intimate ceremony.
From day one Heather was such a great help giving me recommendations of where to go for the "reception" (more like a family dinner after), hair stylists in the area and even putting together the entire timeline for the day. I booked Vallentyne Photography pretty far in advance and Heather would periodically send emails just to check in and see if there were any more recommendations I needed.
The day of the ceremony I finally got to meet her. She is a very sweet lady and made me feel at ease right away. Throughout the day she would disappear and capture all the little details of the hustle and bustle of everyone getting ready. She even managed to take some ADORABLE photos of the 4 year old twin ring bearers who had just woken up from the nap (no clue how lol).
During the ceremony and after she did an amazing job of making sure we got all the group photos we wanted and then some! I'm still in aw at how amazing and detailed the photos are. Thank you Heather for so perfectly capturing our special day!

Heather was nice and real, not a "saleswoman," and talked about her love for telling the story of a couple's day through photos. She got to know us via questionnaire and through our Pinterest wedding board page. She showed up day of on time with a great second shooter and was patient and efficient throughout the entire process. Also, the pictures (1,000 of them) came within 2 weeks of our wedding date and are very high quality.

kind person, she has a talent that is unmatched. My wedding started in California when i booked with Heather. Half way through the planning process the guest list became so large, because of all of the obligatory people, that eloping began to sound like more fun. My now husband and I discussed having a destination wedding in Hawaii to avoid the madness and make it more intimate and fun. When I contacted Heather, she was thrilled! She had been wanting to do a wedding in Hawaii and couldn’t wait to come. There was no stress.
My photos came out beautifully because of her eye for color and expertise with beach and ocean photography. Even when i contacted her 7 years later to make my wedding album (yes, some people wait that long because of life!), she was amazing!
