She's been an editor and writer since 2017, holding staff positions at SAVEUR, Dotdash Meredith, Christopher Kimball's Milk Street and the Improper Bostonian. On days away from her computer, she can easily be found at any museum, Greek restaurant, bookshop or antique store within a five-mile radius of her apartment.

Cathryn joined The Knot's editorial team in 2022 after writing about all things cookware for SAVEUR magazine. Prior to that, she was an Associate Editor at Dotdash Meredith, writing and editing pieces for legacy brands like Food & Wine, InStyle, AllRecipes and Real Simple for clients such as Nespresso, Walmart and Astral Tequila. She also wrote personal profiles on chefs and other culinary content at both of her roles as an editor at Christopher Kimball's Milk Street and the Improper Bostonian. Her words have also appeared across Culture Trip, WBUR (Boston's NPR affiliate),, Edible Boston and others.

Cathryn is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where she studied Creative Writing and Russian language. She also is a graduate of Columbia University's publishing program in New York, NY.
