hem on the Western Slope near where she lives. We'd never been over there so took the opportunity and it resulted in gorgeous, interesting photos. We went our for pizza and beers beforehand to get to know each other a bit. One of the main reasons I loved working with Carrie is that she was more interested in capturing moments that were already happening than creating false scenes. As far as the wedding itself, I was super impressed with Carrie! She showed up early (so amazing) and ended up being able to capture prep time that I had thought we wouldn't get photos of. She did have an assistant day of, which was helpful to get all kinds of different shops. Despite being super pregnant at the time, she was climbing over rocks and squatting down to get the perfect shot -- total rock star. We got the edited photos back 10 DAYS AFTER OUR WEDDING! Our friends who have gotten married said it took them months to get theirs. And they were AMAZING. I spent way too much time just gazing at them. Thank you Carrie for your work and art!!
