A Wedding Dream In Paradise Catherine made all of our hopes and wishes come true! Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She is skilled, personable, and very detailed. Looking for the right photographer was a challenge for us. We researched many but didn't see any that met our standards. Certain elements, such as color, poses, lighting, and style, were essential to us. After we looked at Catherine's website, we knew she was the one! We loved how dreamy her photos were! It was important for Catherine to get to know us before agreeing to photograph our wedding. Having the right vibes was essential to us and a priority for her. Thank God she said yes! Catherine helped us create something for our engagement shoot that spoke to us as a couple. Our shoot was so pleasant and comfortable. It was like being shot by a longtime friend who was just as happy that you had found the love of your life. She made it easy as we played music to help set the mood for our shoot. Any issues with being self-conscious quickly left us. She made us feel beautiful and confident. She guided us with our posing, ensuring that we could pose in the most flattering way. She knows the "money shots." She helped us bring forth our best selves during our shoot. We were delighted with our photos. The icing on top of the cake was her turnaround time. She completed editing our photos in less than a week! We knew she would take a little time, but we weren't expecting them that soon. Catherine and her colleague arrived early on our wedding day and went to work. They split into two, individually capturing our moments as we got ready. Our wedding was at Phipps Conservatory, and Catherine helped us create one of the best images of the night. One of our favorite moments was of them working together to create the most breathtaking photo of the night with us in the Tropical Forest. Catherine and her partner made us feel like celebrities, posing and ensuring our lighting was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better duo. Our photos look like pages in a magazine! We had forgotten about some moments, but they captured everything from our invitations to our dresses to the candid moments between our bridal party and us. Everyone loved our photos! In addition, as a married woman having already gone through this experience, she brings a certain level of expertise that helped us get past our nerves and emotions. Catherine did an impeccable job! She, hands down, is the best photographer in Pittsburgh. Her work is top-tier, and her passion is evident. We highly recommend her a thousand times! An amazing person, artist, and photographer!

Catherine and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! We had a fall wedding in October and wanted a photographer/videographer who were going to make the colors pop, and wow did they deliver! Our pictures are beautiful and our video captures some of our favorite moments of the day. Once you book Catherine, she wants to get to know you and your partner to help make the experience amazing and professional from start to finish. She is also extremely responsive if you have any questions. I could not recommend Catherine or her team more!

We had an incredible experience working with Catherine! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. If you want a photographer who will get to know you as a couple and craft shots that match your personalities perfectly, you have to get Catherine. Our engagement photos were the first time either of us had been professionally photographed, and Catherine helped put us at ease so quickly. She also took the time to scout out great shots at both our engagement shoot and wedding locations so everything went smoothly and efficiently. Also, I have to mention that we had our dog in our photos, and she worked so well with the chaos that a husky who doesn’t want to sit still will bring into a situation. Overall, just a fantastic experience and a great person to work with!!

Catherine blew my husband and I's expectations when it came to capturing our wedding. She was so enjoyable to work with leading up to our big day and on our big day. She took the time to work with us every step of the way. And you can see that in the gorgeous photographs that we will cherish forever!

Catherine was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. We did our engagement photos in January with a lot of snow on a hike and they turned out gorgeous. She delivered them super promptly and we were able to use them in multiple ways for our wedding. The day of the wedding she and her second shooter Tara did a great job of presenting us with prompts for great photos and we can’t wait to see all of them. Catherine has been wonderful at communicating with us. She is extremely organized and trustworthy. We worked with Catherine and her team for our wedding photography and videography and were blown away with the end result. Catherine was phenomenal to work with! She was so flexible with having to postpone our wedding an entire year due to Covid. Catherine was timely and super responsive anytime we contacted her. She created a timeline for our wedding day, which was completely amazing. This helped us stay on time to make sure we were able to do everything we wanted on our special day. She takes pride in her work and it shows. She even was willing to get on a zoom call to go over album options. We received our album about 1 week after sending her all of our selections. We were speechless looking through it. It was BEAUTIFUL and it took us right back to all of the moments captured on our special day. Catherine is an incredible photographer and was wonderful to work with. She is professional, relatable, and highly skilled. She took the time to get to know my husband and I before our wedding to help create the perfect memories captured by her in the way that meant the most to us. Catherine was amazing to work with! From the beginning, she was professional but down to earth and easy to talk to, and offered great suggestions on my overall wedding planning. Our original date was in November 2020, but once COVID hit, Catherine was super accommodating, kind, and flexible as we decided what to do and when we might reschedule. I really cannot express what a relief it was to know she was the one part of our wedding we did not have to worry about! On the day of our wedding, Catherine was very professional, friendly, and a calming influence - my bridal party and family all noted how easy she was to work with, and everyone loved the photos (which were provided to us very quickly after the day!) Catherine was also very helpful with suggesting locations for photos, while making sure to incorporate a few specific shots we wanted. I can't recommend her enough - can't wait to work with her again in the future!

Catherine is AMAZING! When Catherine took our engagement photos, I was in love with every photo. She was easy to work with, very kind and professional. She listened to what I wanted, but I incorporated her flair, which I loved! When it came time for my wedding day, she showed the same kindness and professionalism throughout the whole day. I loved all my wedding images too! They were perfect! Catherine is wonderful at what she does and I highly recommend booking her for yourself!

Catherine absolutely exceeded our expectations as our wedding photographer! She captured our day perfectly! She listened to what we wanted, gave suggestions where needed and took charge when necessary. She clearly has a passion in what she does!

I hired Catherine based on all of her 5 star reviews and her go-getter attitude on our initial phone calls. I am assuming she may have just had an off day but unfortunately her off day was on my wedding day, and we will never be able to get what was missed back. There are some gems in there. But there are also a lot of awkward photos. There are classic pictures of the men getting ready then a lot of photos of the bride and the hairdresser, none of the classic bridesmaids photos. She did not capture the father of the bride seeing the bride for the first time, and a bridesmaid even asked her to take this photo. The portraits have a lot of awkward placement with weird gaps between family members. There are only profile photos of the groom seeing the bride walk down the aisle. The only actual ask I had was to take photos of the wedding guests when they crowded together. She did not do this at all and of our 200+ guests, we only have photos of 30 – 40 attendees This was the biggest disappointment as it was my only request and the only opportunity we will ever have to have taken those photos. I think what hurt us the most was her defensive attitude and endless excuses on “miscommunications” and “crunched for time.” I just hope that she learns from our experiences so that no other bride feels how I do about their wedding photos.

I would highly recommend Catherine. I was a Covid Bride and she was by far, the most helpful, accommodating and sweetest vendor we encountered. From our very first meeting before our engagement sessions, I felt like she really understood what we were looking for and what my husband and I wanted. She was very open to any ideas that we had but was also quick with suggestions to help us as well. We felt very comfortable with her which meant a lot since like most people we aren't totally at ease in front of the camera. The resulting pictures are beautiful, unique and so perfectly us. Then Covid hit and our original date was the very last Saturday in the original six week stay at home order. I was devastated but Catherine felt like one of my biggest Champions. When we had to reschedule she was my absolute no negotiation, must have vendor. We rescheduled for August of 2020, hopeful and excited but when that time came, we weren't comfortable having a large ceremony and reception. Catherine was there supporting us immediately. We ended up doing a small ceremony then and she photographed it and did some portraits for us that meant so much to me. We ended up having our reception this July 2021 and it was amazing. Catherine and her assistant Tara were both so sweet and full of amazing energy that day. I can't even begin to say how invaluable it was that they kept us laughing and relaxed that day. I have the wedding pictures of my dreams and love them all so much. I adore Catherine and would reccomend her to anyone who is looking for an incredibly talented photographer who is also a wonderful, kind and caring human as well.

Working with Catherine has been the absolute best experience! I am still in awe of the quality of her photos and all that she captured on our special day. I booked her about one year out from our wedding and she immediately set up a Zoom call so that my fiance and I could meet her and share our preliminary expectations. About 4-6 weeks before the wedding we met again and Catherine helped me to iron out a (super organized) wedding itinerary complete with a detailed list of family photo groupings, which ensured that none of the important shots were missed. She even set aside extra time to help me talk through and organize ideas I had for utilizing the second shooter. She was so flexible and responsive to all of my ideas and by the time our wedding date approached, she felt like a close friend. It made the entire day that much easier! Our coordinator, family members, and even guests commented on her professionalism. She knew exactly how to stage the photos and where to place us to get the best angles, use of sunlight, and stunning, natural poses. Her confidence and knowledge of photography resulted in nearly 1,000 incredible photos commemorating our special day. My only complaint is that I don't have enough wall space in my house to display all of my favorites!

I knew as soon as I met Catherine that I wanted her to photograph my wedding. Not only does she have a wonderful personality, but she is absolutely amazing at what she does. I met Catherine when I went to a bridal show about a year before my wedding. I felt an instant connection with our personalities and felt so comfortable talking and working with her! It was a no-brainer for us to go with her to capture our engagement and wedding! The packages she offers include so many wonderful things- engagement session, 2nd shooter, plenty of wedding time, and a beautiful album! She is so flexible and was able to meet quickly and in different locations for our engagement shoot. We felt a little awkward getting so many pictures taken of us being so “intimate”, but we were quickly made comfortable by Catherine and laughed the whole time! Catherine was simply amazing. I cannot say enough nice things about her and her work. She is incredibly professional, friendly, clear, and genuinely excited about the pictures she is taking. She came in on my wedding day while I was in the middle of my makeup and I was not able to give her much direction. She did not seem fazed at all -- she got help from a bridesmaid and took charge, finding places around the church to take creative pictures. As for her work--the photos are crisp, bright, naturally elegant, and sophisticated. My husband and I are so happy with them and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives! Thank you Catherine!

Catherine photographed my wedding recently and she did an AMAZING job. We tried to do an unplugged ceremony, but some people still had their phones out and Catherine was STILL able to give us dozens of pictures, none of which had any phones in them! She gave us great directions during the pictures and scoped out several good places to take pictures. On top of that, she got the pictures back to us in less than a month!

Catherine is excellent! She makes everyone feel comfortable. I had plenty of people in my bridal party who aren't big fans of picture taking but she does a great job getting everyone laughing and comfortable so the awkward fake smiles I was worried about made no appearances. She captured every moment perfectly!

As a preface, I used to do wedding photography, so when it came time to find someone to photograph my own wedding, I was incredibly picky in my search. I thankfully came across Catherine's profile and I could not be more pleased that she is the photographer for my wedding. Our engagement photos were taken at Ohio Pyle with our 3 dogs and my parents watching from a distance (my parents were there to help with the pups). Throughout the shoot, Catherine was so friendly, encouraging, patient and creative that time seemed to fly by. Also, given my own photography experience, I did not think I would succumb to any nervousness but I absolutely did (and so did my fiance). As soon as I saw the camera I started to fidget and get anxious - well, Catherine got my fiance and I through that state in about a nanosecond and the resulting images were absolutely incredible. She is responsive, reasonably priced, incredibly talented and helpful. If you are looking for a breath of fresh air in the photography world, give Catherine a shot. You won't be disappointed. :)
