was the best decision we made related to our wedding (besides each other LOL). I was so hesitant to book a wedding planner. I am a classic Type A, and I have a hard time letting go or not being in full control – especially in relation to something as important to me as my wedding. From my very first conversation, I knew that I’d be in amazing and very patient hands with Erica. We were planning an across the country wedding, and it simply wasn’t possible for me to make the kind of decisions I’d need to in order to keep pace in planning + working a full-time job. Wedding planning really is a full-time job (#1). That’s why you hire a planner. Stop questioning if it’s worth it. I promise you it is! It's impossible to know where to start when it comes to sourcing vendors, even in cities you’re very familiar with. The FAWN team has such a great database of recommendations and tools to help you curate your perfect fit of wedding vendors. Erica guided us through this from the biggest to smallest of vendors. The level of detail is beyond (#2). Down to me sending pictures of my hair and make-up inspo and guiding me on who would work best for my glam vision. I leaned on Erica heavily to help me understand where to splurge and where to save. She nailed all of her recommendations and no doubt steered me away from mistakes I could’ve made along the selection process. She was so mindful of our budget while also perfectly executing the vision (#3). The vision. I’m not even sure what we truly envisioned when we started this planning process. I was all over the place on colors, theme and décor. Erica really helped bring to life what I just couldn’t quite put into words (#4). If you’re looking for a planner that you can put full faith in trust in, I with absolute confidence assure you that you will find this with Erica. The weeks leading up can be so overwhelming and stressful, and I was filled with nothing but excitement because I knew Erica had us covered. We are a month out from our wedding, and we still have family and friends telling us they have not been to a more beautiful and fun (thank you silent disco + open bar) wedding. We owe this all to Erica’s design, patience, vision and the dream team she assembled!

have imagined. She took all of my disjointed thoughts and ideas and turned them into the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to. The whole day I couldn't believe it was MY wedding. She worked within our budget and gave us valuable advice regarding what to splurge on and what we could save on. f us. The compliments we got on the food, the lighting, the decor, everything - were tremendous. But more than anything, Erica made planning our wedding a total joy. I'm a little sad that our wedding is over because now I don't have a good reason to text her on the regular, send late-night emails with "Sorry I'm drinking wine and I had an idea..." and, of course, our phone calls. Our wedding was at my parents home and they were extremely appreciative of Erica's help, commented multiple times on how clean and organized the house was when everyone left. They said several times we wouldn't have been able to do it without her. There is no doubt about that!

Laura also went above and beyond on the day of- she had our room cleaned + decorated, took care of our dog and took all of our stuff back to our room so we didn't worry about a thing all night and could just enjoy ourselves. So many people have texted us telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and how every detail was perfect. There are no words to say how grateful we are, Laura is so talented and we love fawn!!!

From our first phone conversation with you, we knew you were going to be someone important in our lives. You took our vision and elevated it x 1000. You transformed our venue (The Darlington House - La Jolla, CA) into something we didn't know was possible. Through the COUNTLESS late night and early morning stress texts, you were there for us. There was no challenge too big for you - not even our anxiety. We had to push our wedding from November 2020 to September 2021, and with Laura's help, we were able to re-secure all of our vendors (minus one). I HIGHLY suggest hiring the Fawn Events team for full wedding planning - they were the best money spent! Laura made sure our day went seamlessly, and if there was something that didn't  go as planned, we still don't know about it (that's how perfect she is). Having Laura, Hannah, and Bree helping us on our wedding day allowed us the opportunity to soak in every little moment and be present for the best day of our lives. We sent her tons of email, design changes to the venue and things we can’t even remember but she accounted for every detail beyond our expectations. Her knowledge of the industry and vendor pricing made us realize immediately that her guidance would save us not only money but time. Up until you meet her and go through the process, you don’t know what it takes to get across the finish line with an event like a wedding. She made our wedding day go seamlessly from beginning to end. It was as if she wasn’t even there, but then appeared out of nowhere when we had to make decisions or answer questions. It is no easy task to keep everything on schedule and up to client expectations. We are extremely satisfied that we chose FAWN, and happy to have met and spent time with Hannah throughout this experience. We highly recommend FAWN because they employ individuals that truly care about connecting with their clients and creating special memories that last forever.

em (Covid bride), went ABOVE AND BEYOND, and never asked for extra penny. I believe one quality that sets Fawn apart from other wedding planning companies is their DESIGN. All of their weddings are stunning because they aren’t just coordinators, they are designers. As a project manager myself, I feel like most wedding coordinators are probably organized and able to plan/execute an event well. When hiring Fawn Events you’re not only getting an excellent coordinator/planner but someone with incredible wedding design expertise. I had an idea of what I wanted our wedding to look like but with Instagram and Pinterest I felt overwhelmed with how many different looks I liked. Laura easily understood my design aesthetic and helped me hone in on the vision. She brought so much knowledge and expertise to the table that it was worth every damn penny. In terms of coordination, we had to change venues four times (yes four) and the last change happened just a month out. We ended up at my grandma’s house which is not set up to host a production like a wedding. Laura dove right in, a month prior when we should have been finalizing details, instead replanning the entire event for a fourth time. SO MANY LOGISTICS I never would have thought of, but Laura thankfully did. Everything turned out so beautifully and could not have done it without Fawn Events. One of my bridesmaids already hired Laura based on my recommendation and I would recommend Laura and Fawn Events to everyone!

She went above and beyond and always made us feel like a priority even after all the delays and new designs. We were planning our wedding from the East Coast, and Laura never gave me one ounce of doubt or worry throughout the 6 months of planning. My husband and I had our civil ceremony on 1/4/19 and then had a non-traditional wedding celebration on 11/9/19 with 50 of our closest friends and family in Palm Springs. I was concerned that our reception-only wedding would be awkward and weird, but it turned out so amazing and was seriously one of the best weekends of our lives. Laura always made us feel so special, was constantly thinking five steps ahead, anticipating and breaking down all the pros + cons for us with every big decision, and even analyzing the smallest details with me like what color name cards and fonts to use and making sure the pink tassels on my coconut straws looked perfect. I never felt like any question was too dumb to ask or that I was being too crazy lol, Laura was always such a sweetheart offering solutions to any issues or concerns, wasn't afraid to take charge when she had to, and always calm, cool, collected and just an overall bada** hustler. From the countless hours of emailing to late night phone calls, I definitely told my husband that Laura was my new best friend on more than one occasion! Two months out from our wedding, we had our venue cancel on us abruptly.. leading us into dealing with potential lawsuits + major stress in the midst of what was supposed to be a beautiful planning process. After frantically searching for a few days and her helping me contact venues last minute etc, one of the original venues we had as our top choice miraculously got their event permit just a few weeks prior. We rushed to book the venue and filed in all our paperwork just in time. Laura made another trip out to Palm Springs with us to see that venue in person when she didn't have to, and from there on, everything really started coming together. On the day of, Laura arrived early, took the reins, and literally transformed our venue into a MAGICAL PINK OASIS. Everything was so dreamy and perfect!! She took our wedding as her own, went above and beyond to execute flawlessly + beautifully, and did it all without beating a sweat. And best of all, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Laura was hands-down the best investment and vendor at our wedding... and honestly her prices are too good to be true and worth every single penny.. please tip her!! Side note- as a mom of two young kids + a wife + full-time wedding planner, she is the true definition of boss babe. More than just a wedding planner, Laura is a friend, a confidante, an advisor, a coach... from consulting with her on THE dress to creating the perfect floral arrangements, from learning appropriate brunch etiquette to selecting invitations to picking out the ring box for the ring bearer, Laura was there.
