Jose is a dedicated professional who delights in curating a gallery of wedding images that a couple can treasure. Using a contemporary and photojournalistic style, he expertly snaps each moment with the aim of producing authentic and emotive photos. Jose is originally from Granada, Spain and moved to the United States to teach Spanish. For him, photography was initially a hobby, but it eventually transformed into a passion. His work has been featured in a number of publications throughout the world and while based in Dubuque, he can happily travel farther afield. Jose Garcia Photography offers photography packages for engagement sessions, boudoir photoshoots, wedding portraits, events, and more. Among the services available are additional hours, photos taken at multiple locations, and having another photographer present to capture the day’s magic. Each bundle includes a USB with digital images along with a print release form.

Plus - Jose was pretty fast to turn around the photos and gave us our own copies of the photos on a flash drive so that we could store them off and send them to our families. Owner

Based out of Dubuque, Iowa, and originally from Granada, Spain, my journey to the United States began about 9 years ago when I was hired to teach Spanish at a local school. My love for photography started out as a hobby but has now turned into a passion. I love capturing any and all types of photography but my specialties include; wedding photography, family portraits and senior/fashion photography. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some of my work featured in magazines, websites and social media platforms.
