Katherine was AMAZING and I recommend her 10,000%. The process, from start to finish, was great. Katherine is responsive, clear, and she is a dream to work with. She provides immense value and knowledge and she makes the process quick and easy. We had our photos back the day we got back from our honeymoon!!!!! She is super talented and she managed to capture the day from start to finish and told the tale through gorgeous photos. Her work is amazing!!!! And she is calm, sweet, and gets the job done without bossing anybody around. She blended into the day and got the job done -- the result? Gorgeous, journalistic-style, editorial photos mixed with perfect family shots and details of the day we didn't get to see ourselves. HIRE HER!!

Fantastic! Both Katherine and Jeff photographed our wedding and they were beyond amazing! They were able to capture every touching or fun moment while not being intrusive or distracting. They could pop in and out of the croud and capture the very best moments!! Katherine shot our engagement pictures and my bridal session, and these photographs were beautiful, playful, inventive, creative and all around worth every penny!! Some of the very best work I have ever seen. We also appreciated her laid back style and the ease at which she made us feel comfortable during the engagement pictures and during our special moments on the big day. She has many great ideas if you do not have something particular in mind, and is very talented.

My husband and I probably spent the most time on making our photography decision. We went through tons and tons of websites and then found Katherine's. We were blown away by the uniqueness of her photos and how she plays with the light and different points of view to make such stunning pictures. The creativity that Katherine and Jeff put into the classic wedding pictures I think makes them stand out from others. We used them for engagement, bridal and wedding day with photobooth and ended up with over 1000 pictures that we LOVE to commemorate the special time in our lives. Katherine is fun to work with and is good at putting you at ease. She and her husband are both very sweet and a joy to have around you on your big day. My wedding day went by so quickly and was such a blur but looking back at our pictures has thrilled me every single time. We looked at several options for photos for our wedding as we tried to keep our costs down. When we decided to get married in Texas, where I'm from, I was a bit worried that I'd have difficulty finding a photographer whose style I like, and a photographer that I actually trusted. My background is in art/architecture/design, and live in San Francisco where I have worked on photo shoots with many photographers as part of a previous job. I've worked with diva photographers, I've worked with photographers that had great portfolios, but were not great in practice, I've worked with talented, but unprofessional photographers -- the entire gamut. My concern, especially in choosing a wedding photographer is that I would have to settle in some way -- that I would have to pay an exorbitant amount, sacrifice quality, work with someone I didn't like, work with someone who isn't a consistently good photographer, but just happens to have a few great shots in their portfolio, etc. And then I found Katherine. Katherine is awesome, and as an added bonus, you also get Jeff, who is also awesome. They were calm, professional, great people. The kind of people you enjoy having at your wedding, and who actually enjoy being at your wedding, not just another vendor. I was really drawn to Katherine because she takes photos in film. It's a bit pretentious SF hipster to admit this, but I've always loved film, polaroid, and more analog ways of capturing photos. It's how I learned photography in school, and I was extremely happy and excited to know that Katherine also shot in film and polaroid. On top of the beautiful photos Katherine has produced, she and her husband were extremely professional and accommodating. She offered to come early and stay late at no extra cost to make sure she got all the photos that we wanted. That kind of commitment to their job/service/photography is obvious. We worked with so many vendors in our wedding that tried to nickel and dime us, so it was a relief and a comfort to know that Katherine's sole focus was to really get the best photos possible. That is really hard to come by in any industry or profession, especially the wedding industry. Most photography packages are so bare bones with a bunch of additional costs tacked on, but considering what you get with Katherine (a full 8-hrs, engagement session, books, the extra mile) -- I can't believe they don't charge twice as much. I would have paid it too. I cannot say enough good things about Katherine + Jeff. They are all around just great. There were so many decisions that we had to make for our wedding, many that I second-guessed. Katherine and Jeff was never one of those. We knew from the beginning that we had made the right (and best) choice in photographers.

it meant a lot to me to have fun, romantic pictures so i launched an intensive search for the right match. the second i met katherine i knew i had lucked into finding the most amazing photographer i could get my hands on. her work is spectacular. crisp, quirky, romantic. and an added bonus was that she was a phenomenon on our wedding day, cool, calm and capturing every moment in a stunning way. loved having her there and are blown away by her work. recommending her like crazy! she's insanely talented at her price. i couldn't have gotten any luckier.

Katherine and Jeff O'Brien photographed an engagement shoot and our wedding. We were blown away by the quality of their work. Katherine and Jeff were so pleasant to work with from the very get-go. The final set of photographs that they delivered to us were off the charts with regards to both quantity and quality. We had no idea that we could be so photogenic! We absolutely loved nearly all of the photos, making it next to impossible to pick out which ones to have framed. Katherine and Jeff really captured the essence of our special day, and thanks to them we will always have these mementos to help us remember it.

To say we loved Katherine's photos wouldn't do them justice. Every single photo is stunning. She has such a creative eye -- the colors are vibrant, the shots are striking and often fun, and she uses different cameras and color to give some shots a retro feel. Katherine is also incredibly personable -- she listens when you say what you'd like, and makes excellent suggestions when you're not quite sure what you're after. She's fabulous!
