Specializing in Wedding Day Management, Leigh & Co. Events is a team of professional wedding planners and coordinators serving couples throughout the DC, Annapolis, Baltimore, Eastern Shore, Richmond, Charlottesville, Delaware and surrounding areas. Our day-of coordination service is designed for couples who are excited to plan their own wedding, but want an experienced professional to step in, build the timeline, and expertly execute everything when the wedding day arrives. Leigh & Co. was created for exactly that reason.
When our founder, Brianne, was planning her own wedding, she loved the planning process and didn't need a full-service wedding planner. What she did need was someone she could confidently hand everything over to when the big day arrived. Finding that person proved surprisingly difficult. Most planners wanted to take over the entire planning process, while traditional "day-of coordination" options offered very little support before the wedding. So we created the service she wished she could have hired.
Our approach to Wedding Day Management gives couples the freedom to plan their wedding while providing the structure, resources, and professional execution they need to actually enjoy it. Long before your wedding day, we'll help prepare you for a smooth handoff through our detailed planning questionnaires, planning guides and custom software. Our process is intentionally designed to help uncover the little details that are easy to overlook and make sure we're prepared to execute the day you've spent months planning.
As your wedding approaches, we take the plans you've created and turn them into a detailed wedding-day timeline. You'll meet with your Lead Planner for a Final Details Meeting to walk through your wedding from beginning to end, confirm the logistics, and make sure we're ready to take it from there. Then, on your wedding day, you stop planning and we start executing.
Your Lead Planner manages the timeline, coordinates with your vendor team, keeps the day moving, troubleshoots behind the scenes, and serves as the point person for the logistics you've already put into place. Instead of answering questions, checking the clock, or wondering what needs to happen next, you get to be present with the people you love.
And if you're looking for more support, Leigh & Co. also offers Partial Planning, Planning & Design, and Full-Service Planning options. Whether you want to plan your wedding yourself and hand us the reins when the day arrives, or have our team guide you from the very beginning, we offer a level of support designed to meet you where you are. From planning and design to final details and wedding-day execution, our goal is simple: create a seamless experience that allows you to be fully present and enjoy your wedding while we take care of the rest.

Our coordinator, Isaac, was communicative and supportive from the first day he reached out. We had multiple calls to finalize details, and he consistently followed up through email to ensure we were on track with planning as we neared the big day. Isaac was a huge help on our wedding day. He ensured everything ran smoothly so that I didn't have to think about the schedule at all. He directed our ceremony processional and worked with the other vendors to make sure every detail came to life! He singlehandedly decorated our reception area, and he did a fantastic job. The space looked absolutely beautiful. He nailed every detail for decor that I had in mind, and we got many compliments on how elegant our ceremony and reception looked. Isaac constantly checked in on my husband and I to see if we needed anything, and even brought our signature drinks to our sweetheart table. It was very hot on our wedding day, yet Isaac did not complain once. He worked throughout the entire day to make sure every last detail was exactly as we envisioned it.
I would highly recommend Leigh & Co, as their experienced team, quality planning templates, and affordable price are 100% worth it. This company and team know how to make your wedding day run as smooth as possible!

I was playing my part as the DJ.
I just want to speak to her professionalism despite the pressure. While our couple wasn't being difficult, the day did present with its fair share of curveballs and snags, with the added wrinkle of a person in the wedding party falling FULL BODY into some mud behind the reception venue, and there STILL needing to be certain moments left on the schedule.
I've seen coordinators have WAY less going on and have way more attitude, almost to the point where it looked as if they were going to pack up and go, but not Teausha. She stuck beside her couple, made sure all was well for them, and saw the day through, with minimal to no issues that guests could see.
A good day-of coordinator is such an underrated part of the wedding day, and she is the type, that if you had her, and then didn't....you'd get it. Pleasure to work with her, and hopefully it won't be the last time.

but Elizabeth went so far above and beyond that. Even before the wedding, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering questions and even helping me find a vendor for a beautiful pipe-and-drape backdrop.
On the wedding day itself, she completely brought my vision to life. I had shared the general look and feel I was hoping for but told her she could take some creative liberties, and what she created was even better than I could have imagined. Everything looked incredible.
The entire day ran so smoothly. Honestly, I don't think a single thing went wrong, and if it did, Elizabeth handled it without us ever knowing, She was organized, calm, friendly, and so helpful throughout the entire process. Because of her, we were truly able to relax, be present, and just enjoy our wedding day.
If you're looking for someone who will make your day feel seamless and stress-free, Elizabeth is the person to hire. We are so grateful for everything she did and can't thank her enough!

Abby went above and beyond coordinating logistics, working with vendors, and keeping everything on track. We are so grateful for all the effort she put into making our day so special!
The only very minor downfalls were two small details. We did notice the seating chart cards on the mirror weren’t placed completely evenly—there’s actually a photo of me fixing it hahaha (and it’s also something that our photographer could’ve easily adjusted before photos were taken). The second detail was something we didn’t notice until we received our wedding photos: our welcome sign was placed on the floor at both the ceremony and reception locations, even though we had provided a rod for it to be hung.
These were truly small details and didn’t take away from how amazing the day was overall. We would absolutely still give Abby 5 stars and highly recommend her to any couple looking for a dedicated, hardworking planner who genuinely cares about her clients and their wedding day!

We met with her prior over zoom and worked out all the details and she worked with the vendors and coordinated things before and during our big day. mazing to have her sync with us multiple times ahead of the event to ensure we had all the details organized plus she sent out our event timeline and details to all the vendors ahead of time. This was huge because we found out ahead of time that one vendor had the wrong date, but it was all fine since we had plenty of time to adjust with Karissas proactive communication. She has fantastic attention to detail, was super experienced, preparing us ahead of time of all the small checks we would have forgotten/missed otherwise. She truly went above and beyond sending her awesome assistant, Elsa, out to pickup specific alcohol that we ran out of in the middle of the party. One of the biggest parts was the cleanup- it was amazing to wake up to everything tidy and organized in the house, something I really didn’t think was even feasible with such a big event. We highly recommend Karissa for any event planning!

tion and made sure everything went off without a hitch, and on time. I even received comments about how this was the very first wedding my guests attended where things flowed so seamlessly! I have Ariane to thank for that. She was excellent at making sure we were on the same page (ahead of the wedding) and was both the sword and shield for my partner and I for handling vendors and guests. My advice to anyone getting married is that a day-of coordinator is a MUST, because otherwise you'll be stressing over what is already a pretty stressful day. Ariane exceeded my expectations and had probably THE most important role to play in making our day as perfect as it ended up being. I had a VERY specific vision for our wedding (Star Wars themed) and everything was right on point!
I couldn't recommend Leigh & Co enough (though of course I'm biased for Ariane specifically) and I'm so beyond grateful for all the help both prior to and on the day-of.

Instead of guiding us with a clear plan, she was asking questions such as the order of the wedding party, how we should enter, and where the sand ceremony table should be placed — decisions that were or should have been discussed and confirmed ahead of time. While she tried to maintain composure, she came across as flustered, which made me less confident, but still hopeful, that the wedding day would run smoothly.
On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were contracted to begin that afternoon with only a short window before the ceremony. With guests arriving so soon after, I expected execution to be seamless. Instead, set-up was still incomplete, so my sister stepped in to make sure details in the tent and around the ceremony were in place. She was also the one reminding her of the firm start time and coordinating with vendors like the DJ to keep things moving. During the reception, when we were already running behind schedule, she was not proactively moving events forward, leaving my sister to, again, manage the flow.
That said, once it became clear that my sister would be her main point of contact, she did maintain strong communication with her throughout the day. She was responsive by phone, followed direction well, and ensured that any uncertainties were clarified rather than left unresolved. I appreciated that effort, as it showed she could adapt and carry out instructions once expectations were set.
While I was largely shielded from the stress of these issues in the moment, it came at the expense of my sisters, who had to take on responsibilities that should have been handled by the coordinator. Instead of being fully present and celebrating with me, they were managing details and logistics behind the scenes. That was never the experience I wanted for them, and it was disappointing that the support I hired for wasn’t fully there when it mattered most.
With stronger upfront preparation and organization, I believe she has the potential to excel. She communicates well, has a strong presence, and clearly wants to support her couples — but to truly deliver the stress-free experience brides and their families are looking for, those strengths need to shine from the very beginning. Thankfully, the company was quick to reach out to rectify the situation in a way that both parties were satisfied.

ocations that were about a 20 minute drive apart, so I felt very nervous about the day running smoothly, time management, and how the set-up and clean up was going to happen. Heather took all of this weight off of my shoulders with their Wedding Day Management services--from the moment Heather arrived at our rehearsal and started directing people where to go, I knew I could rest easy. Heather advocated for me, checked up on me, and kept us on schedule. Her assistant, Isaac, decorated the reception venue while we were at our ceremony and my jaw dropped when we arrived--this man has a serious eye for detail! I loosely had an idea for how I wanted the decor but left most of it up to his creativity, and it was sooo much better than I imagined it to be. The best part is that I didn't have to lift a finger to set it up or clean it up! Seriously, you don't want to worry about working (or making your family/friends work) during your wedding; hiring them was the smartest thing I ever did and I would do it again in a heartbeat. During the reception, they worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the party stocked and running. If you are on the fence about having Day-Of Coordination, please take it from me (a bride on a budget!) that you will not regret hiring Leigh & Co. Thank you so so much Heather and Isaac!

ahead of time, helping to coordinate with our vendors and ensure that we had everything in place ahead of time. Having never planned a wedding, it brought me so much peace to know that I had Cam in my corner helping me make some final decisions and ensure that my vendors had everything they needed from me. On the day of the wedding, Cam and Annabelle had everything handled -- our day was absolutely PERFECT, I was able to completely turn my brain off and just enjoy my day, while I knew I could trust that Cam had things handled. She somehow read my mind and anticipated everything I would want throughout the day, from a vodka soda while my mom bustled my dress before cocktail hour to having my sunglasses for me to put on during cocktail hour. I'm so glad we booked Leigh and Co., having Cam there on the day of my wedding brought me so much peace and allowed me to check out from worrying about how the logistics were going and just enjoy the best day of my life.

y to be around! Heather was very communicative and easy to get in touch with leading up the wedding, which put us at ease. She offered great input in developing the timeline and thinking about the overall flow of the wedding. She brought up several things that we never would have thought of that made things run so smoothly (e.g., suggesting when the officiant should ask to turn cell phones off at the ceremony, how to spread out the toasts during the reception). In setting up the ceremony/reception, Heather and Rachel made our decor look spectacular and kept track of everything special to us (including a few family heirloom pieces), and safely and quickly packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Due to some unexpected heavy traffic in the area, we ended up delaying the start of our ceremony but we didn't worry even for one second that anything would get upended because Heather and Rachel had it covered.

t all on their own. About 1.5 months out from the wedding, I totally freaked out and felt like I needed some support. My venue (Baltimore Museum of Art) kindly pointed me in the right direction on such short notice and guided me toward finding Leigh & Co where I connected with Brianna (owner), Katherine (lead coordinator), and Aleka (asst coordinator) who eventually helped me on the day of my wedding.
Katherine was amazing! She truly communicated with me every step of the way from the second I signed on with her. I don't think there were many days that went by in the month leading up to my wedding where I didn't speak/text with her. We met on Google Meets and got my wedding day timeline down pat, and she communicated promptly with all of my vendors.
Without Katherine, I truly don't know how my wedding day would've turned out (still beautiful I'm sure, but with less punctuality!). Katherine made sure everyone was where they needed to be the day of, and took the stress off my plate by taking on some of the more pressing matters of the day of.
I got so many compliments about how punctual my wedding day was, and that they hadn't been to another wedding like it. I'm so so glad I went with my gut and hired a day-of coordinator, and for the price you cannot beat the services these coordinators provide! Truly worth it.
