And lastly, we ate at our wedding! Yes we did! We had our own personal waiter who made sure we got all the apps and our own dinner plate so we enjoyed it all. This is your caterer if you want to experience your wedding and know your guests will leave well fed and happy.

Mosaic worked with us to create a menu that was perfect. We did a tasting with Mosaic and everything was so good. Literally everything. We hired Mosaic before the pandemic hit. As we moved closer to our date, Mosaic was awesome. They worked with us to change things and update our numbers and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable as we did some scrambling due to COVID. The day of the wedding everything went so smoothly. The food was amazing. We chose to do stations and they did a great job serving our guests. There was no waiting and everyone raved about the food. Thank you to Sarah and Michael for everything they did for us! We’re so happy we hired Mosaic!

s all so wonderful. And the food. WOW. We wanted a low country meal, mixed with some yummy spice, and Mosaic knocked it our off the park! I heard over and over how wonderful the food was from ALL of my guests. Would definitely recommend Mosaic for your catering!! Yum- I’m ready for seconds (maybe thirds...).

rah was assigned to work with us after our first point of contact moved out of state and she hit the ground running and picked right up where the other rep had left off. Sarah was so sweet, thoughtful, and I loved her attention to detail. She really made my husband, my mother, and I feel cared for through the whole planning process, and most importantly on the day of the wedding. Equally important was the service and food that was provided and I am thrilled to say that was just as stellar. The entire Mosaic team blew us away with their professionalism and attentiveness to our bridal party and our guests. The food was delicious - it's been almost two weeks and I STILL have people telling me they can't forget how good the food at the wedding was. The Mosaic team truly crafted a menu that was perfect for our family and our guests and I am ever so grateful. Thank you, Sarah, and the rest of the Mosaic team for a wonderful experience!

Maggie at Mosiac went above and beyond to send me pictures, face time with me, and respond to a thousand emails, which made us know that we were in great hands! And OMGGGG we were! The food was insane, like the best wedding food I have ever eaten - our guests are still talking about it! They recreated my favorite fried chicken from a local restaurant and it was literally perfect to the t. The staff was amazing, during our pictures they brought us oysters - which were my favorite item on our menu and champagne and made sure that never wanted for anything the entire night. They even packed us a to go bag with everything that we had served!

ugh food for people to fill up. I repeatedly asked the girl (wedding coordinator) who helped us plan, if the amount of food we were ordering was appropriate. I had not seen what 1 platter consisted of before. In multiple emails and in person, she assured me it was plenty. After I delivered my personal platters for her to put the food on before delivery, she assured me once again I had enough food. Ultimately they didn't even fill up half of the platters and returned the others empty. The portions were tiny and there was no way what they delivered would feed our guests. For example, a dip was honestly 1 ice cream scooper and that was supposed to feed 12? There was no issue on budget or cost for us so there was no reason we wouldn't have ordered more. I had been very transparent during out conversations and was completely surprised and upset when they delivered the food. I could not believe that was all they were delivering. I couldn't reach anyone. I called and calle. I later learned they were too busy at another very large function to answer my calls (per their delivery driver). The delivery guy agreed there wasn't enough food and made some calls. He was gracious enough to go pick up some bbq they had made for a different event just to give us some extra. However by that time I had sent my father and sister in law to Fresh Market to pick up pre-cooked foods and sides. What was delivered to us would barely feed half the party. A few weeks later I had a conference call with the coordinator and the manager from Mosaic. The manager was incredibly rude. She refused to refund us any of our money or even compensate us for the groceries we had to go buy in the middle of our wedding reception. More importantly, she told me- "you got what you ordered." Well obviously that's the truth but I trusted the coordinator to tell me the amount each platter would serve and to tell me if it wasn't enough. Believe me if they say it serves 12- it really serves about 4-6. Their tiny portions may be what they consider high end but the food wasn't even that good. All in all, I live off River Road and near Mosaic. I will not eat there, give them any business or recommend their services again. The food wasn't very good. The portions were tiny. They misrepresented their platter size. They made mistakes in portion suggestions. They were not responsive the day of the event and then finsihed it off with an unprofessional conversation. If you want people to actually eat more than a small appetizer, I'd suggest ordering double or triple if you have to use Mosaic. I'd highly recommend using a different caterer.

First, Marie was awesome about working within a relatively tight budget to get us exactly what we wanted (and was so gracious and patient with me as I changed my mind time and time again). Next, they worked with my crazy schedule to set up a time for a tasting of food of our choice and afterward worked with us to create our ideal menu of heavy hors d'eaurves. Throughout the planning process, when I had a question about anything, Marie was always there to answer right away without a grumble - and I'm not just talking about food here...she even helped me to create a timeline for the evening when I wasn't sure what would create the best flow. On the day of the wedding, Mosaic made sure that the food was perfect and delicious, the venue looked beautiful, the guests were happy, and I was relaxed. Wedding planning can certainly be stressful, but Mosaic was the one entity I never once worried about. I would recommend them to ANY bride, as they can work with you to create your dream, whatever it is. I would also hire them in the future for any type of party. I can't imagine having done this with anyone else.

I say she made it because we had no idea what we were looking for and she was able to give us exactly what we wanted. Throughout the process of planning she was incredibly attentive and helpful at every turn and always available. During the event she was more wonderful than we could have expected, nothing went wrong and everything was perfect for our big day. We even had a tray made up and sent with us without asking at the end of the night. I wish I had another event to hire her for right now.

as for food and display, attended every detail (including the reception late night passing of sliders….yummmm…guests are still talking about it!), while remaining professional, yet friendly. The food was perfect and we even had special service from the chef. Every detail of the weekend was perfect and the guests are still talking about the food, desserts, drinks and catering. Simply perfect!

off with being put off but, they did take the time to email me and let me know what was going on. Once they did get back in touch, I was only getting minimal answers to my questions. They wanted an in person meeting to discuss menus, they did not email me any menus and the website does not show much. We were finally able to meet in person, at the Mosaic's resturant of course which is 45 minutes from home. My husband and I busted butt to make the appt on time and ended up beating the consultant. We managed to be close to 30 minutes early and she was about 15 minutes late but she did apologize and she was REALLY nice. We enjoyed the meeting and she really did give us a lot to think about when it came to menu & set-up. In the end, we did not go with Mosaic mostly because we did not feel like a priority to the consultant.

nd use your venue space to its best advantage. She catered our wedding reception in the BB&T gallery at the Suffolk Center for the Cultural Arts Dec. 8, 2012. It was a small affair-just 50 guests (family & friends). She created a Mahi fish taco station with self-serve fixings that our guests loved! Also, the beef kabobs were wonderful! Jeanette creates a plan for your reception and works with your other vendors to make sure it goes off without a hitch. I couldn't have done it without her!!! I highly recommend her and her staff. I knew if contracted with her I wouldn't worry about the reception at all. It was a beautiful, intimate event we well cherish.

tina delivered top-notch customer service, responding to my millions of questions and concerns and offered us the option to sample an array of potential menu choices (including wine) BEFORE we even signed a contract. Our tasting sealed the deal and working out all of the options and prices was a breeze. Since we also used Mosaic for our day-of coordination (a requirement of our venue), Cristina participated in our venue walk-through and had fantastic suggestions for setting up our space; I really felt like she understood my vision. The day of my wedding I was BLOWN AWAY by the arrangement of our buffet. Set on beautiful farm tables (we did have to pay extra for these), Cristina added rustic touches like burlap, wood baskets and beautiful purple glass vases with tall brown branches which complimented our seasonal food choices (the butternut squash ravioli was INCREDIBLE!). In the end, Cristina and Mosaic turned out to be more than just a caterer and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for delicious food options at an affordable price.

the food. They were on top of every single detail and made sure all bases were covered. It was amazing! At the end of my reception, all my guests were talking about how great all the staff was! One of my guests broke a strap on her dress and the staff at Mosaic came through with a safety pin to save the day! Our cake melted (from another baker) and they were there to make it look pretty again! Nothing was ever missed by them! :)

y flexible with the items we chose to include on the menu. The food we sampled was delicious and it was just as good on the buffet table (and looked good too!) as it was in the cafe. I only wish I could've had a doggy bag of the desserts that I didn't get to try! The only downside was that it was a bit expensive, but well worth it.
