at it would be super expensive because of its super-convenient location right on temple square, and because of its reputation for really good food! But, including all the taxes and gratuity, it was under $21 a person. Now, don't think that it was just the price that made me give them 5 stars...the service from start to finish was professional and outstanding. I worked with Mercedes, one of their full time event planners. She listened to everything that I wanted and worked with me to make the whole day perfect. And they took care of everything--the location, the table linens, the catering, the service, the centerpieces, parking validations, really everything! There were only a couple of things that I had to take care of and they had recommendations for those things that turned out to be fantastic (photographer, cake, announcements/invitations, clothing). The best thing about it was that I just got to be a princess on my wedding day because they took care of everything for me and I didn't have to worry about it at all. The food is seriously delicious. I can't really emphasize that enough! You should go to the Lion House Pantry and try it, and then realize that the catered food is even more delicious! Yum! It is a beautiful space, very traditional and sophisticated. We were married in December so it was also decorated for Christmas, which was wonderful. So to sum up, excellent, over the top service, great food, beautiful location, convenient location, and to top it off a great price. We had 80 guests and the grand total was about $1900.
