fter breakfast! The innkeeper (Pam) was so easy to work with through the whole planning process, promptly responding to all our emails to answer our questions on a timely basis. Since we had lots of family coming from out of town, we ended up booking the whole place for family a long weekend. Their breakfasts are DELICIOUS and they did an amazing job accommodating dietary restrictions for the entire group (I’m a vegetarian, my brother is a vegan, and one of our guests had many food allergies…we all got a delicious customized version of what the other guests were eating!). The tables were set beautifully for every single meal, whether it was just a few of us overnight guests at breakfast or the main dinner event at the wedding. In the rooms, the bedsheets and bathrobes were unbelievably comfortable—all the overnight guests were raving about them and it’s now my mission to track down the same sheets for my home! Every single person who worked at the mansion was friendly and attentive during our whole experience. Really, I cannot recommend this place enough! If it’s too small a venue for your wedding reception then you should definitely book it for a different event (shower or rehearsal dinner or something!) or even just a romantic getaway with your new spouse. You won’t regret making the Vrooman Mansion part of your wedding experience!!

worry about any details because I knew they would have everything under control. The building itself is beautiful and very well kept. There is beauty in every inch of the property. Every moment went so smoothly and I believe the staff at the Vrooman played a large role in that. I am looking forward to making visits for our anniversaries to come.

fect location for a smaller wedding (we had around 80 guests). We rented out the entire mansion, as well as the Carriage House for the night of the reception so that all our family could stay there. The staff catered a "cocktail" reception with heavy appetizers that were DELICIOUS. I STILL have guests telling me how amazing the food was. It was such a unique setting for our ceremony and reception.... I absolutely loved it and the staff made it all so easy for us. They literally did everything. The next morning, we had a brunch catered by the mansion for our family that had spent the night there. It was the perfect way to end our wedding weekend. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any future brides who want a truly memorable and beautiful wedding experience. I have had several guests tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.

booked most of the rooms for Friday and Saturday as we had family and friends coming which made it convenient and very private. Our outdoor fall wedding was beautiful in the back yard and the following dinner wowed our about 85 guests. Many said it was the "perfect" reception and comment on how beautiful the venue was. Being centrally located, it is close to overflow hotels & since Vrooman is close to downtown, those that wanted to dance and party after the reception, did not have far to go. We were also able to book a large family breakfast the next day to gather those special friends and family together one more time. I have photographed many weddings over the years & I would highly recommend Vrooman mansion as a small venue in Central IL. The house and the staff out performed my expectations.

edding AND we rented out the rooms for our wedding guests. It was wonderful! Breakfast was included and we all have a wonderful time in the morning after to catch up and really 'talk'. Every single person there went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. They helped me in every aspect and really shocked me with things I did not know they could do. I'm wishing we had the budget for them to cater our wedding as well because they have a fantastic cook. But at least I experienced it for breakfast. The photo ops at this venue are top notch. If you want a vintage/romantic look, then this is the place.

I also had the privilege of staying there with all my bridesmaids at the Carriage House the night before the wedding and then with my husband the night of our wedding for our honeymoon suite:) The breakfast was also excellent and the service was superb! I think Vrooman Mansion is highly under-recognized...it is my favorite place to stay BY FAR in all of Bloomington! Thank you so much for making my wedding weekend even that much better and more memorable:)
