For hybrid weddings, I shoot on a high-end mirrorless camera that's designed to be the best at both photo and video. With the simple flip of a switch, the camera goes from capturing stills to capturing gorgeous video. For moments where I have to capture both photo & video, I take a different approach; you'd never know the difference, but I'll share the secret now ;) For moments like your first kiss at the end of the ceremony, this is a split-second moment. So rather than trying to switch from photo to video or video to photo, I have another camera on a tripod to capture a beautiful video in stunning 8k, giving my ample room in post to frame the shot to perfection. Most couples want a simple highlight video, raw footage of their ceremony & reception, and lastly, amazing photos to fill their home. That's the key point; it's about having keepsakes to cherish forever. 300 photos of dancing are not something you'll cherish forever, 3 different angles of the same photo don't provide you with a timeless keepsake. What matters is that each shot is taken with intention, focusing on the little details, ensuring you get the best quality with each moment captured. You'll get photos, videos, or both that focus on giving you the best quality on the moments that matter most. I deliver quality images, not quantity, and a quality video, not simply a long one. I can never provide a photo count as every wedding is different. Some weddings will have twice as many photos for the same amount of time simply based on their scheduled events.
