When you first meet with Lori, she will probably neglect to mention that she is some sort of wizard who will entirely transform your wedding venue into a magical garden. We had some weird furniture rentals that Lori masterfully incorporated into her design. We got married at the Cork Factory and then Lori assisted in flipping the room for the reception. I can't even begin to describe how insane our head table looked. We took her advice on a lot of the direction and could not be happier with how everything came out.

Let me start by saying that when I first started with wedding planning, I didn't want to put a lot of focus or money into the flowers. However, after meeting Lori, an amazing professional and artist, I ended up with the most gorgeous flowers I could have ever imagined at my wedding. The name really drew me in because it was exactly what I wanted: wildflowers by design, flowers that looked completely natural and fresh but with polished design and arrangements. When my fiance (now-hubby) and I first met with Lori a year before the wedding, we knew what we didn't want but we had a hard time describing what we did want. Lori knew all the right questions to ask and she really listened. On the day, she totally nailed it! And not only were they beautiful, but she was very mindful of staying within our modest budget. The chuppah florals that she designed were breathtaking, and the colors were stunning. She knows how to let the flowers speak for themselves and how to create simple designs that we asked for while making them so gorgeous that they turn heads. And on top of all that, she is the sweetest person to work with and her enthusiasm is contagious. She obviously has a true love and gift for flowers, she loves her work, and because of that she makes you feel like your flowers are the most beautiful she's ever designed. We're so lucky that we got to work with Lori at Wildflowers by Design.

Wow, wow, wow! There really are no words to describe how amazing Lori from wildflowers by design is! From the moment we had our first meeting with her, we knew that she was going to capture our vision perfectly. She is confident, fun, and unbelievably talented! She went above and beyond and even helped us pick out decor rental pieces that would fit our vision, and she also provided her styling expertise. Her eye for floral design is incredible! From my bouquet to the centerpieces, she knocked it out of the park! My husband and I have commented many times since our wedding that we feel so lucky that we were able to work with such an amazing person and vendor. Lori is so talented and sweet! I was pretty picky about how I wanted my wedding to be styled and I knew as soon as I met with Lori that she knew exactly what I wanted and would style it the way I envisioned. The florals and greenery were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She will also work with you to keep everything within your budget while still creating the look you want. She is amazing!

Let me begin by saying that I started wedding planning thinking that flowers were not high on my priority list, but as I looked more and more at blogs and magazines, I realized that the flowers were what stood out to me about each individual wedding. I was amazed at the photos of Lori from WBD's work on-line and during our initial meeting, so I had to book with her. I was even more amazed after seeing it in person on our wedding day! Lori was so flexible and responsive, and she used her talent and creativeness to bring my "romantic woodland" vision to life! The colors and design were even better than I'd hoped, and EVERYONE at the wedding (vendors included) was impressed with our centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. Lori even went above and beyond by using extra petals for our aisle and succulents throughout the reception to add that little extra touch. If you are looking for something truly unique and appreciate her style and love for local flowers, then I HIGHLY recommend WBD for your wedding/event!!

After interviewing multiple florists, all of whom were very qualified, we decided to use Lori for our wedding. We just couldn't get past how every one of her arrangements online and in her books were spectacular. And we are so happy we did! Seeing all of her arrangements we felt confident just telling her our color scheme and a general idea of what we wanted, and having her use whatever flowers were in season during our wedding. We were blown away by everything she did. From the bouquets to table arrangements, and all of the details in between, all of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were and noticed all of the unique plants and flowers. We decided to have her create a few arrangements for the rehearsal dinner, which were equally spectacular. She remained flexible even as we continued to add additional pieces to our contract (which we did a lot...). Our only initial hesitancy was that it sometimes took a little bit of time to hear back from her with emails (although this was not the case when we were closer to the wedding), but this is just indicative of a great floral designer being very busy. Don't let that deter you, as Lori was on top of everything leading up to and on the wedding day.

Lori is AMAZING! Flowers were a large part of my wedding decor and she did a phenomenal job. We met twice during our engagement and she took detailed, meticulous notes of a true professional. She understood the theme and the feel that I wanted to convey at my wedding and nailed it! Communication was a breeze; she was responsive, friendly and just plain adorable! Lori is unbelievably awesome at what she does and this bride could not have been happier!

When Lori sat down to talk with us, she listened to what our daughter said, she also "got the vision" of what she wanted. She made suggestions and asked questions. The flowers were beautiful, fresh, and presented well. We couldn't be happier.

I hired Wildflowers By Design for wedding bouquets/bouts, centerpieces, and reception decor for my winter wedding. All of my expectations were exceeded. Lori is a true artist and has a creativity that is unmatched. Her ability to incorporate non-floral elements with floral is unique and simply stunning. I wanted to keep my bouquet forever!! I could not be happier with my flowers and would highly recommend her.

I worked with Lori for my wedding in July 2011. I can't say enough good things about the quality of her design, artistic vision, and willingness to work with her client. I went in to our initial meeting a little unsure of what I wanted other than the colors to use. Lori worked with me for 2 hours talking about arrangements and looking at pictures to come up with our beautiful bouquets. When she dropped them off before the wedding, I was in awe and so happy with the final product. Lori Witmer of wildflowers by design was fantastic! We were working with a lower budget for flowers and lori was so great about working with me! She is able to tell you the best flowers for your budget and theme. I could not have been more happy with my flowers. She is great about creating very interesting textures for bouquets and centerpieces. My bridesmaids loved their bouquets so much that they refused to put them down! I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a florist! :)

I loved my flowers! Lori listened to what I wanted and worked with me over the phone (I live in Ohio). Everything was beautiful; from my bouquet to the center pieces. She did what I asked and so much more. She has a great eye for detail and pulling colors together.
