apture the moments. As we continued to look through their work, we just felt like the photos were exactly what we wanted. They were so full of emotion and life. Fast forwarding to our meet and greet. We had a terrific consultation. Ann and Kam were very kind and genuine. They discussed our timeline, venue, alternate shooting locations, and packages with us. I was sold, however, my fiance and I agreed that we would talk everything over before making a commitment(before we walked in). Knowing this we told Ann and Kam we would need a night to think about it. We stopped by Stan's donuts right across the street from their offices to discuss how we felt. We both felt Ann and Kam seemed to have different personalities. They were both very friendly and open but Ann just gave off a more strict professional vibe, they type that would make sure to get the perfect quintessential shots every couple must have. Kam on the other hand was artistic and bubbly, very passionate about his work. We pegged him as the guy who would get the artistic humorous shot that everyone would fall in love with. After 10 minutes of talking about how we both loved Ann & Kam. We decided to walk back across the street and book their services before we lost them to another couple. This was one of the fastest decisions we made when it came to booking a service for our wedding. They did not disappoint one bit. We loved the outcome of our pictures and our short video. We were expecting amazing results and they definitely delivered on them. I highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer to check out their work. ould be something that we will look at and cherish for years. Let me tell you it was worth it. My husband does not enjoy taking photos normally so I was super worried about the idea of us being photographed the entire day. My husband ended up having a ball . They are not intrusive at all so that during those intimate moments or even when at the altar, you barely notice they are there. They are such a great team and are great at giving direction. I loved how flexible they are and how they are able to look at a space and immediately figure out how they want to shoot. Ann & Kam are so passionate about their work...you know when they get excited about the shots that they are going to turn out beautifully. I especially loved how flexible they were. Before the day of they helped me identity a few locations where we wanted to shoot. On the wedding day we had to change things up a bit due to the weather and even got a few stunning shots in the rain!

After I spoke with Ann the first time, I knew I found the right photographer for our wedding. First of all, Ann & Kam are a married couple who are fun, adorable, and are not afraid to both speak up in order to get the best “shots”. They work together beautifully, making the somewhat uncomfortable engagement photoshoot process easy and fun! My fiancé finished our engagement session with his own ideas and loved every second of it! Our engagement photos were ready within two weeks and completely blew us away. Ann & Kam knew exactly where to go that fit our personality, we had a GREAT time with them. I just have to say the lighting in our photos is perfect and better than I ever expected! 5/5 stars!!! When I was planning my wedding, I had no idea that I booked the date the weekend after daylight savings. One day I decided to look up when the sun sets on my wedding day…. 4:33PM. With a 3:00PM Catholic Ceremony start time, that does not leave any time for daylight wedding photos outside. After a small (large) freak out, I called Ann and she calmed me down to explain all of my options. I knew I did not want a “first look” and so we came up with a plan. That is what makes a GREAT photographer! I feel so confident in Ann and she saved me a ton of stress, THANK YOU ANN! My wedding is in one month and I have not given any second thoughts about the photographer/videography process for the big day. Each time I talk with Ann or Kam I feel relieved and ready for the big day! If our photos turn out anything like our engagement photos, then we are in excellent shape. through their look books, I was taken aback with some of their shots. I never thought that my wedding photos could be as beautiful and breathtaking as the ones in those books - BUT I was thankfully mistaken. Ann and Kam are so creative. They see angles that you would not think of, which gave us unique and cool photos that I have never seen anyone else have. They also go above and beyond to get the shot. I remember Ann rolling on the ground 6 months pregnant because she had a vision, and Kam would climb around rooms and windowsills because he had an idea. And ultimately, I have the most beautiful photos - photos that I will not only cherish for the rest of my life but am proud to brag about and show everyone else. I recommend doing engagement photos and wedding photos with them. Not only are the pictures amazing and good keepsakes to have, but it helps loosen you up for the big day and stay relaxed because you have already gone through it before. I absolutely LOVE their work. My friends and family still talk about the wedding photos to this day! I try to think of different parties I could potentially throw because I want them to take more pictures so I may have even more beautiful reminders all around me. I would hire them again and again!

Initially we decided against the short video, after watching a few created by Kam…we decided this is something we should not skip. His videos evoke so much emotion they are truly amazing. Our wedding photos are unbelievably gorgeous we had a few requests and Ann & Kam made them happen. 300 guests gathered on the Uihlean plaza steps at the Chicago History Museum… EPIC is the only word I have to describe it. They surely know how to make you feel extra special during this wonderful time in your life. They are worth absolutely every penny… I highly recommend spending the money on your photographers (Ann & Kam) because after the whirlwind of the best day of your life… this is what you have as memories! We had researched lots of photographers so we already knew we liked their style (illustrative - a blend of photojournalism candid as things go photos and some posed portrait). You can see from their photos that they are amazing at catching movement in crisp shots. On our first meeting we ended up talking for an hour just getting to know each other! We had been engaged for a while so we weren't too into the engagement photos thing but I highly recommend it because it gives you and your partner a chance to get used to getting photographed. Ann and Kam were great at making us feel comfortable and natural and even gave us suggestions that came out looking super natural! They even worked with us to do our engagement photos in Wisconsin because we both had family out there! Prior to the day of, they helped us map out our day to make sure we had all the shots we wanted (along with suggestions). And before the day was over, they made sure we had every shot we wanted before they called it a night. Ann and Kam are amazing photographers, a great team (two photographers for the price of one!) and are just all around fun people! During our engagement session, they listened to what we wanted, and when we didn't know what we wanted, they had fantastic suggestions to capture what we were looking for. After our engagement session, we were even more excited for the wedding to get to work with them again! Fast forward to our wedding - we simply had the best time working with this incredible team. They were never intrusive - I was really hoping to have a special moment with my mom and sisters putting my dress on, which I wanted to capture on film, but was worried whether adding extra people to the mix would be intrusive. Ann, Kam, and their team were able to capture some very sweet moments, and I never once felt like they overstepped their bounds or got in the way. That is just one example, but the entire day was like this. For the first look, they gave us space to talk to each other, to be in the moment, but were able to effectively capture such a special moment. While there were so many great aspects in the day, If we had to focus on one specific thing that we loved about working with Ann and Kam, it was their easy nature. They are a great team, and that expands to everyone they are working with. They never made us feel rushed or nervous, and were able to laugh with the wedding party when we were all goofing off (at one point they were both lying on the ground taking pictures to get a different angle in the middle of Lincoln Park - talk about dedication!). They also got in there with all our family and friends on the dance floor and captured some amazing and hilarious images at the party - if I hadn't seen a camera in one of their hands I probably would have thought they had joined the party (which would have been awesome!). here they needed to be, stayed calm (even cracked jokes to make me smile) when I had moments of stress, were unobtrusive in our church wedding and did whatever they needed to get the perfect shots! My husband loooved working with them which is great because most of time, guys are indifferent about vendors or the planning process. They were so fun that they even accepted our invitation to stay and dance after our photography package was over. They were slightly expensive compared to the national average but for Chicago photographers, they are very competitively priced. Highly recommend for those with a higher/flexible budget.

Ann and Kam went out of their way to help us. They took time to cheer us up before the photos, they recommended many replacement venues, and made what was started out as a very rough day into a beautiful photo shoot. As I look at my wedding photos now I am so thrilled! They took all the important pictures, the most unique details shots, hundreds more, and they all look stunning! I really wanted to splurge on photography for my wedding since the photos are one of the few things that last beyond the wedding day. I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out and working with Ann & Kam was very enjoyable. My family is still raving about how wonderful they were.

But the photos turned out absolutely amazing, the work they do with lighting is fantastic!! But the work they did on our wedding day was over the top amazing. So far I've only seen our sneak peak photos on their blog, but I love everyone of them. Our outdoor photos are seriously gorgeous, I've gotten so many positive compliments on not just how great I looked and my dress, but the amazing photography Ann and Kam produced. It is really worth every penny, I literally can not wait to see the rest of my photos, I know they will all be just as amazing! They were very up front with me about my unrealistic expectations of traveling around Chicago and wanting hundreds of photos in tons of locations, in 2.5 hours...which was great that they don't promise what they know cannot be done. They were very good about getting all of the shots I wanted, and at the end of the night asked me if there are any additional shots that are important to me that I wanted before they left. Which I'm glad they did b/c there were a few I was able to squeeze in before they left. They are truly talented and so good at what they do, hire them and you will not be disappointed. They are AMAZING :)

Ann is very responsive to any questions, and they had a lot of nice touches, such as giving us a little wedding planning gift box when we first met them.They were very flexible in creating a custom package for us and even shot a little of our rehearsal dinner. We received links to "sneak peaks" after our engagement session and wedding within a couple days, which was so fun. Ann also worked with me to create the perfect album and even sent me a digital version to look at before going to print, to be sure we absolutely loved the pics and layout. Our images were also available for us (and any guests we shared login info with) to order individual prints, which were good quality and very affordable. They are great at capturing those spontaneous moments of genuine emotion, and they have good understanding of light. What's funny is that I don't remember them shooting a lot of my favorite pictures--they are like wedding ninjas, somehow everywhere at once without ever really being seen or distracting you and your guests from the festivities. I've lost count of how many compliments we've gotten on the pictures. Couldn't be happier :)

After receiving our wedding pictures, we were giddy over how awesome they turned out, and the amazing quality of each picture; they captured so many wonderful moments of that day perfectly So much so that the biggest issue we have now is narrowing down which ones we want to display. Beyond the quality of the photos, their professionalism working with us was top-notch! On the wedding day, they took charge of a rowdy and excited bunch that was our wedding party in a fun way that made all of the pics (group and just the two of us) very fun and enjoyable. At the reception they also helped us take a step back from everything to appreciate and the enjoy the day even more, which, in hind-sight we are so grateful for! When the times comes, we will most definitely contact them again to take some professional pictures of us with our child(ren), because the quality of what we already have on our walls from them is superb!

A few times Kam even scaled objects to get that "perfect shot." We loved their use of natural lighting, their ability to make us laugh, and their avoidance of all the awkwardly staged wedding poses - they just went with the flow. We've only seen the sneak peek from our September wedding, but are in LOVE with what we've seen so far. All of our friends and family have told us these are the best wedding photographs they've seen! Even my colleagues who were not at the wedding teared up from the sneak peek because you could just feel the emotions in the photographs from Ann & Kam! Their use of lighting, different angles, knowledge of how to hold your hand or prop your leg was so helpful. And I could not believe how creative they were. We took amazing pictures on top of bridges, in beautiful parks, and at one point Kam laid in the middle of the street just to get a shot of us! (It's actually one of my favorite pictures now!) I appreciated that they took the time to learn how we interacted with each other and used this to capture all of the little details. We loved every picture and felt that they were very representative of us as a couple. Also, they are a husband and wife couple and they each have different perspectives which gave us such a wide range of photos. They work so well together and we LOVED working with both of them. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and said funny things to make us laugh! Engagement photos and wedding photos are the only memories you take from this sacred and once in a lifetime moment in your life. And I am so happy with my decision to work with Ann and Kam. They will also be shooting my destination wedding and we feel so lucky and excited to work with them again. I sent Ann my ideas and I appreciated her honesty in which locations would have better or more dramatic lighting. She did her homework and didn't just show up to the session and wing it. It went so smooth and was so FUN that I didn't really want it to end :) They are really nice people and funny, in addition to being talented photographers. My wedding photos were so amazing. I can't even find the words. They found amazing shots and beauty in places I wasn't imagining it to be. They are AMAZING manipulators of light and their candid style makes you feel like maybe you were there, even if you really weren't. I feel like I'm spying on an intimate moment in so many of my own photos, and that was SO MUCH what I wanted. When you look at the photos, you won't see the chaos, the wind, the stepping on the veil, the tripping, or any of the real life that occurred that may have looked less than lovely. They turned each thing that I perceived to be mayhem into a genuine moment capturing US. A trip looks like him helping me up. A gust of wind looks like him fixing my hair. They are seriously SO GOOD at what they do. And they'll do whatever it takes to get that good shot. Hanging off a balcony, laying in the grass, climbing under and over things. They stuck to the timeline, and really tried to keep everything on track. Even when I was running late myself. And even when other pieces were trying to slip through the cracks. I could see Kamran reading off the list of shots we wanted, to make sure we had all of the ones I'd requested, also. I really appreciate that because I have a lot of parents, and sibling groups, and I didn't want anything to be missed. They were the epitome of efficiency and beauty. The photo booth was awesome. It didn't take up too much space, and the guests LOVED it. Ann & Kam had props and manned the booth all night. I love that we could see the photos right after they were taken. They know if you need a re-do ;-) !! And the personalized website is SO personal. I have never seen one like it. They had small cards at the wedding for our guests- On the front was an engagement photo, and on the back is the link to our photo page. Our guests LOVED this. http://rivera.annkam.com So simple!! In 5 years, I may still remember a lot from this day, but it really does FLY BY you faster than anything I have ever known. In 20 or 30 years, I will probably remember mostly what's in these photos. Our children and our grandchildren will ONLY know these photos. If you're going to spend money on something, make it the photographers, and make it Ann & Kam. You will be so glad you did for the rest of your life. My one regret is that I won't be getting married again to use them again! So please, use them for your wedding!! They are fantastic people and deserve your business. And you deserve the memories they're going to provide. e would have thought possible, which made for some great photos. Ann is great at getting back to all emails, calls and texts very quickly and gives great advice and tips if you feel lost. And in my opinion the cost was definitely reasonable and included everything I was hoping for. The wedding photos were PERFECT. We received so many compliments on them. They were the exact "feel" I was hoping for and they reflected our whole day perfectly. I felt like we were in that moment all over again. 5 months later, I still get excited looking through them. We felt like we knew Ann & Kam for years, which made it seem like we were spending the day with friends and created a great mood for the day. We're so excited to order some for our home so we can relive that day over and over! :) I HIGHLY recommend Ann & Kam!

My husband and I weren't planning on doing engagement photos, but we chose a package that included them and I was really happy that we did. The engagement session was a great time to get to know Ann & Kam and get a feel for their style. For our wedding photos, I was planning on taking photos at a barn/open field. It had been raining the entire week leading up to our wedding and Ann was great in finding alternate locations and making sure that I didn't stress out too much. In the end we were able to still go to the barn and the photos were exactly the way that I was hoping they would turn out. Ann & Kam were fantastic the entire day of the wedding and were able to capture so many great moments. We got to see a sneak peak of our wedding photos within a week of our wedding and had all of the images only 5 weeks later. The website they set up the photos is very easy to navigate and download the photos from. They took time to meet with us after we had our photos to go over album options and layouts. They added so many special touches to our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From our first meeting, to the engagement session, to the preparation of the wedding photos, the wedding, and the follow-up afterwards, every experience we have had with Ann & Kam was fantastic. I can't say enough great things about them!

d do the traditional family shots but also had an artistic vision to get those unique angles and capture emotions...and they did that so well! But honestly, there are a lot of talented photographers out there...it was their attitude and personality that really make them worth the money. -They were everywhere they were supposed to be without being in the way at all. I was shocked at the pictures they managed to get, yet nobody noticed they were there. -There was a slight disagreement with the venue people, and they handled it very professionally and took care of the issue quickly and discreetly. -Our wedding had several offbeat elements, and not only did they roll with it, but they were excited to shoot something different. -I am a plus-sized bride, and Ann knew how to direct me into poses that flattered my body without making me feel self-conscious or being blunt about it. This is an invaluable skill for any photographer, but it especially impressed me that someone with the portfolio that Ann has would be so good at working with brides of all shapes and sizes. -I didn't have a pre-made list of detail shots, but Ann and Kam, being the pros, got all the shots I wanted. -They were great at wrangling our loud, rowdy families during the family portraits. -They showed up early, were professionally but discretely dressed, and got to work right away. - They had fun! They were cracking up just as much as we were taking photo booth pictures. Their contract was up at 10pm, and after they packed up their equipment, they came back and polka'd with us before taking off! -We got photo-booth pictures with-in a week, and a sneak-peak of shots a few days later. We got the full set of pictures just shy of five weeks after the wedding. -Although we spent $3500, this was one of their more expensive packages. They have much more budget-friendly options, but we had a generous family member pay for our photography so we decided to upgrade! The overall experience was fantastic. Ann and Kam are totally worth the money, and I am so glad they were the ones to capture our wedding.

They captured a rustic-themed outdoor wedding just as well as our cosmopolitan downtown engagement shots. But I had no great ideas of my own. That’s when I met ANN :) Ann and Kam had TONS of ideas on how to work the space. Needless to say, our pictures are amazing, stunning, gorgeous, and everything we wanted!! We have hundreds of pictures that we love! Ann and Kam are passionate about their work. The day before the wedding I decided I really wanted Ann and Kam to come an hour earlier. It was no problem, they did! And our wedding video is a masterpiece!! The day of the wedding was VERY cold and windy. She got us all to suck it up since she knew how much outdoor pics meant to me! Her and Cam did an amazing job! The groom and I did not wear white and she was able to really make our colors pop while keeping the bridal party (who were in white) still popping out of the snow as well!!! They were fantastic!!!!
