er communicating over email (Nicolette was very quick to respond!) we decided on a 10 inch celebration cake with a mountain design. And OMG did Nicolette and her team deliver! The cake was absolutely perfect in design and tasted amazing!! We are still eating leftovers two weeks later! I can't thank Newburgh Flour Shop enough for their flawless cake and for making our day so special. We may even hire them again to do our larger wedding celebration after covid ends. If you are looking for a wedding cake I highly recommend Newburgh Flour Shop!!!

ony in the backyard so we needed something small, we worked with the NFS and they were able to create a custom coconut and passion fruit cake on top and a chocolate mousse cake on the bottom. They added some beautiful simple decoration for free and the result was a delicious and beautiful cake! We were pleased with how reasonable the price was too and how easy it was to work with Nicolette! Our guests are still talking about the cake. We would 1000% use the Newburgh Flour Shop again.

through the process and she made it extremely easy, especially given the circumstances. We didn't want a huge cake, and she had options for intimate weddings which was really helpful because I didn't want to buy a huge cake and have a ton left over since we didn't have many people at the actual wedding. Our cake was two white tiers with gold metallic hand brushed ombre sitting on a wooden base (it was very minimalist and earthy). There were supposed to be baby's breath on it, but because of covid, the shop wasn't able to outsource the flowers like they normally do, so the baker went as far as to mark the exact spots where we could put the baby's breath on the cake ourselves! It was super thoughtful of them, instead of just telling us that they couldn't put flowers on the cake, period. The prices were also SO reasonable. Our cake flavor was carrot with a vanilla cream cheese, and it was DELICIOUS!! I don't even normally eat cake and I was digging into it all night. We also got a dozen each of the three flavors of macarons for people who didn't want to eat cake, and they were a hit!! Hands down the best macarons I have ever had. I plan to go back just for those. Also, since we couldn't have a honeymoon at this point in time, we decided to do a small spa getaway, and the next morning the Inn gave us banana bread from.. you guessed it - the Newburgh Flour Shop! It was like it was meant to be, haha! It was equally as delicious as everything else we had tried. My family loved the cake so much, my parents came back only a week later to order my mother's 60th birthday cake. When my parents went back, they told me Nicolette mentioned that she was thinking of my husband and I the whole evening because it started raining the night of our wedding. It was so thoughtful to know that she actually cared about our day on a personal level and not just because we were purchasing something from them. I know I've gushed about this place enough , but I have not stopped recommending them to my friends and family and now I can share it here too! Seriously, you won't be disappointed!!

ng flavor options are great - we enjoyed the cake tasting and figuring out which to select. Kristina was always accessible via email and was very friendly throughout the entire process. The cake was delivered to our venue in perfect condition and was beautifully decorated with greenery and roses as we requested. It was so helpful that Kristina could decorate the cake without needing us to coordinate that with our florist, as some bakeries require. Additionally, we didn't have to take up room in our freezer for a year to save the top layer - Instead, Kristina gave us the wonderful idea to come back there in a year to get a little replica of the top layer for a very incredibly reasonable price - this way we can create a new tradition and actually enjoy the cake a year from now! Everything about using this vendor was excellent, couldn't recommend them more!

We absolutely loved the options we tried but finally decided on the devils food cake and raspberry jam filling - naked cake icing . They make their own jams seasonally and you can taste the freshness, thats what made us fall in love with the flavors. The cake came to the wedding and it not only tasted amazing, it looked beautiful. Our guests complimented how delicious the cake was. She let us customize a fall seasonal dessert bar with some of the most delicious desserts we’ve ever tasted, including mini maple panna cottas, pumpkin cheesecakes, chocolate caramel tortes, carrot cake operas and more! The cake - a white cake with blackberry jam filling and white chocolate mousse - was equally delicious and gorgeous! She was able to do a gold brushwork on the cake that matched our aesthetic perfectly. Kristina made sure that no question was left unanswered of ours, and was so flexible in making sure she accommodated all of our requests. Of all of our upstate vendors, Newburgh Flour Shop was one of the easiest to work with and the most caring. You can’t go wrong with this amazing crew.

it all got eaten by our guests before my wife and I could have almost anything! Have been to the bakery multiple times for non-wedding related things and everything has been great. They actually catered a brunch for us too and I never really liked quiche... until I had theirs, which is mind-blowingly good! Everyone should hire this place for their wedding without hesitation.
