few other local photographers (mostly solo photographers), and though their work looked great, I was weary that they were solo and also seemed kind of “a la carte” with pricing. Eventures had everything I wanted from a flexible staff, to reasonable package pricing, to videography, to beautiful work, etc… They are truly a one-stop-shop! Brian and his staff are young, friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about their work. We met with him a few times (at flexible day and evening times) to plan out all of the details of what we wanted in our photo and video packages as well as all of the details of our wedding day. He was very specific and detailed as to what photos we would like, where we would like them, and who we wanted in them. Eventures is reputable and very familiar with many of the churches and venues in the Pittsburgh area, so he was able to give great advice and suggestions when asked. The day of our wedding, Brian and his team showed up to my parent’s house on time and prepared with all of their equipment. They got started right away and knew exactly what to do, especially amongst the chaos of my lovable Italian family and eight bridesmaids. Throughout the day, our two photographers (I definitely suggest having two) and videographer were everywhere snapping tons of shots and capturing all of the special moments of the day. Also, they kept our day moving as “on time” as possible, while never seeming rushed. When my husband and I got the photos back, we were absolutely in love with them!!! It took us a few hours to look through all of them (tons to pick from) as we reminisced about our amazing wedding day. I got all of the photos I asked for and the quality was second to none. The site that they use with all of our photos is very organized and has some great features to use when ordering prints. They had the photos to us so quickly, about a month or so later. Though we are not completely done with our process (still working on choosing pics for our albums and prints for our living room), Brian continues to stay in contact and communicate any and all new updates. Again, I very much enjoyed and continue to enjoy working with Eventures! Their prices are very reasonable for the quality and timeliness of their work, and they are terrific to work with. Our experience has been perfect, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!!!

They were even able to put my photo-phobic husband at ease! We had video from another company (thanks to booking my vendors kind of late), and they all worked together with so much courtesy and professionalism. The experience as a whole was everything I could have asked for. Our pictures turned out great! They were able to get a great mix of classic, Pinterest inspired, and candid photos. Our contract had a longer turn around time listed, but Brian was able to get our photos to us 31 days after the wedding! It’s like he knew that I would be anxious to incorporate wedding photos into Christmas gifts! Overall, I would recommend Eventures to anyone who will listen!

We met with Brian a few times before the wedding and I was able to express certain pictures that I wanted and he made sure to get them the day of. He is very creative and puts you at ease. The DJ was also awesome- we got many compliments on him! The dancefloor was crowded all night long and he really knows how to read the crowd and play the right music. Their prices are reasonable, you get your photos in a timely manner and we absolutely love both our engagement and wedding photos. They were great at doing the traditional photos, but also had a wide selection of unique photos that really complimented our bridal party and families. We decided to splurge and go with 2 photographers, and are so happy that we did. They worked great together, were able to get us from different angles and focus on different parts of the ceremony/reception. ed out great, so when it was time to plan my own wedding this October, I knew who I wanted for my photography. I requested two photographers so that one (Steve) could be with me and my family throughout the day and another photographer (Brian) could be with the groom and his family. Steve road with me and my family to Phipps Botanical Garden to take pictures before the wedding, while Brian stayed downtown with the men. The photographers helped to coordinate everything up until the wedding so that the groom and I didn't see each other. I made a list of pictures that I wanted to make sure were taken and gave it to the photographers ahead of time. We met about a month before the wedding to review the list and the itinerary for the day. On the day of the wedding, everything ran very smoothly. We made it through "the list" with time to spare. The photographers were very cognizant of makings sure that all the moments were captured on camera. My husband and I left the party briefly to take pictures in the beautiful Botanical Garden. The day goes fast...and that's why it is so important to have photographers who are experienced, professional and easy to work with. I definitely feel that I got that with Eventures. We were told that the final pictures would be available in 4-6 weeks after the event. On our one month anniversary we got our "sneak peek," which are great. I can't wait to see the rest!

a custom package that fit both our needs and our budget. We met with Brian several times before the wedding to work out all of the details. He was great to work with; professional, enthusiastic, and willing to offer suggestions without being pushy. The day of the wedding, both Brian and Steve were on the scene to take pictures. They were both lots of fun to work with and seemed to capture the entire wedding without interrupting the flow of events at any time. The pictures turned out wonderfully! We highly recommend Eventures to anybody. If I had to leave one piece of criticism, it would be that the studio itself is in kind of a scary warehouse building, but don't let that discourage you from hiring these excellent photographers.

ic genres and types of songs we wanted to have played at various points in the evening (a mix of 20's jazz and even some classical Hindi music during cocktail hour, early doo-wop during dinner, and highly danceable, but unexpected songs played during dancing). We also had a bluegrass band playing and our DJ needed to work well with the band and play music that would segway between band and DJ sets. We felt that most "wedding DJ's" would not know where to begin with these specific needs, so instead looked for DJ's that mixed at clubs in Lawrenceville and on independent radio, etc. After having 3 of these types of DJ's fall through (they forgot they were booked on our date, our music cramped their style, etc.) we were left less than 2 months before our wedding with no DJ. My friend referred me to her friend Steve of Eventures, and we decided to take a chance. From the first time we spoke with Steve, he was actually excited about the music we were looking for. We sat together for several hours talking about our music, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. He respected the fact that we didn't want a lot of announcements throughout the evening. After our meeting, he felt like an old friend, and we were very reassured that we might have found a "wedding DJ" that really was really what we wanted. Once we gave him our list of music, we didn't have anything to worry about. Even the most obscure songs, he was able to find and play. As for getting people dancing, he was amazing! One song after the other got people really excited and moving! We even had a strange request to have him play random sound clips from a movie we like, and he got them, downloaded them and played them randomly throughout dinner. I think our guests were confu

His energy and attitude certainly made our guests feel welcome and we were at ease knowing he is so great at what he does. They were truly a pleasure to have with us and made all of us smile, laugh, and enjoy ourselves throughout the entire wedding day. I was amazed that they managed to get thousands of beautiful pictures with all the joking around we were doing. The details: Working with Eventures was one of the best experiences we had while planning our wedding. Brian and Steve were extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented and were able to answer any questions we had and helped guide us through decisions without ever making us feel like they were pushing us into a decision. We had our photography, videography, and DJ all through Eventures and it made the planning and coordination much easier. We had a fairly large wedding at The Priory in the north side (180 guests) and photography and videography were extremely important to us, as I am an amateur photographer I feel I have high standards. We looked into a few photographer’s that only offered one service and then we contacted Eventures and were very interested in the “whole package” that they offered. It made planning easier because when we met with them we were covering three services in one meeting which was very time efficient. It was also great that all of the people they brought to our wedding had worked together before so they were a team, not separate vendors working together for the first time. They also had worked with the staff at The Priory which made the coordination even easier. We immediately felt very comfortable with Brian which is so important to have with your photographer – this person is going to follow you around with a camera and tell you what to do all day so you have to feel comfortable with them or your pictures can really reflect any discomfort you may feel. When my husband and I met Steve we also immediately really enjoyed being around him and felt confident that he would do a great job, and that he understood our vision for our day. The planning process was very easy. We had an engagement shoot about nine months for the wedding and received our photos back in less than four weeks. Brian encouraged us to get the engagement shoot to help us learn how to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and it was a great idea. We both felt totally weird at the beginning of the engagement shoot and Brian eased our discomfort. It also was a great way to figure out what not to do in pictures on our wedding day to really get the best shots (I smile to big and my eyes close, so on the wedding day I told everyone to keep telling me to smile less – sounds weird, but it really worked and our pictures were amazing.) Then about eight weeks before the wedding we had a meeting to discuss the wedding day time line, where we wanted the photographer and videographer on that day, and the music selections. This process was made very simple because we were given an in depth questionnaire that covered all of the things we needed to prepare before the meeting and after the meeting we got a “schedule” back that had all of our details on it. We made a few minor tweaks after receiving this and it was no problem. Also, any time we had a question we were answered promptly and professionally – and being two extremely detail oriented people we asked a lot of questions.
