er! We had a subtle Harry Potter theme going with our wedding and her pumpkin spice cake with cinnamon frosting really fit perfectly as the base to our marauders map inspired cake decoration. She executed my vision of our cake perfectly. We also decided that we couldn't choose a favorite flavor so Cathy made the brilliant suggestion to have a small 2 tier cake for ourselves, choose 2 dozen "standard" size cupcakes and 4 different mini cupcake flavors so everyone could try a bit of everything. We rejoiced it was the perfect idea and at the end of the night there were barely any cupcakes left. She did the pumpkin spice ones as a standard with the deathly hallows symbol on them, she did a standard cookies and cream cupcake with an oreo vinyl record (a nod to my husband and his Dj past) on top and the rest of her minis were chocolate peanut butter meltaway, triple chocolate, strawberry with raspberry compote and for the less adventurous the vanilla. Everyone raved about how moist and delicious her cupcakes were and people were even more excited they could try more than one flavor. She was fun and professional and an amazing baker with extremely reasonable prices. I plan on using her for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary cake that's how wonderful she was!

It may sound weird but it was amazing. Our cake was also a naked cake and we provided the fake flowers to go onto it and the topper. We had so many compliments on the cake about how amazing it looked and tasted. More than a few people told me that it was the best wedding cake they've ever tasted and one of the prettiest. Our reception was held at a barn venue and the day of the wedding the temperature was around 85 degrees. Anyone who lives in western PA knows that when it's that hot around here, it's usually also humid as all get out. There was no air conditioning so my coordinator did have to watch the cake in case of melting (which it did a bit on the top but honestly not badly and it held together fine). That naked cake sat from 2:00 when Cathy dropped if off until after 7:00 and it was still so amazingly moist. We had a lot of left overs too and froze most of them but, kept a small bit in the refrigerator. It's still moist and it's Tuesday, my wedding was Saturday! All I'm going to say is I know who will do my cakes for any future events that I have. I absolutely adored my cake and I'm so thankful to Cathy! You helped make our wedding day perfect! To sum it up: Cathy is amazing. Go with her. I think she changed her business name to Frosted Envy

up. From the start, the experience with Cathy was different - good different! I emailed her and scheduled a tasting and explained that I was coming in from out of town. She wrote back EVERYTIME within 24 hours. She explained that she is a lot censer at home baker and only schedules one wedding at time so the cake is not made in advance and frozen. Her tasting was amazing - she provides cupcakes with all of the batter selections and then a second cupcake container with all of the icing and filling options so that we could mix and match as much as we wanted. This was such a fantastic idea and I wish that every vendor had done this. Cathy was nice upon our initial meeting despite my now husband and dad clowning around the entire meeting. The only challenge part was coming to a consensus on which cake flavor a to choose! Before we left, we all knew that she was our lady! She was the ONLY vendor that made chocolate cake that tasted like chocolate! I also ended up ordering a second cake from her for the rehearsal dinner for my husbands retirement from the military - that cake was delicious and stunning as well! It is almost a month after the wedding and my parents are still receiving calls about how beautiful and DELICIOUS the cakes were! Cathy also recreated the picture of the wedding cake that I chose exactly - I would have sworn that it was the same cake! Our cake had fresh berries on it and she used ones from our garden, which just personalized it more for us. The fondant cake that she made for the rehearsal dinner was stunning - my husband was so excited and it was such a fantastic way to honor his service and celebrate his retirement. Cathy was the easiest of all of our vendors to work with - she understood what we wanted, was easy to communicate with, reasonably priced, very nice, and overall, just professional! I'm so grateful that we found her and I highly recommend her for cakes for any occasion! She even went above and beyond and worked with me to bring down the cost of the retirement cake without sacrificing the integrity of the design that my husband requested! I truly can't say enough good things about Cathy and her cakes!

dant was amazing and looked so much more elegant than any of the buttercream cakes that we had looked at with other decorators. Our cake ended up being the most beautiful and chic wedding cake that I have ever seen. We loved it! We also had a difficult time narrowing down favors. They were all delicious! We eventually settled on 3 tiers: two with classic French vanilla sponge and another with apple pie cake (my absolute favorite!). The cinnamon flavored buttercream icing is to die for! For my bridal shower, we selected matching fondant topped cupcakes. They were a huge hit! Everyone loved the filling.

licious. We decided to do a cupcake tower with apple spice cupcakes and cinnamon frosting. We had a winter wedding and were worried about flavors that would be good and still fit with a rustic winter theme. Cathy took our thoughts and ideas into consideration and really worked with us to get it right. She has the ability to make amazing cakes (check her website for photos), but she also can partner with local artists for special requests such as sculptured cake toppers and even painted fondant cakes. In our case she was able to get someone who could paint the winter tree from our invitation right onto our cake. It was simple and elegant. Cathy came and set everything up with no problem. Cathy's cakes not only look beautiful, but they taste great too! Our guests loved it. She's a total professional and I would highly recommend her for any special event.

knew we were in good hands. A couple weeks after that, my mother unexpectedly passed away. Once again, Cathy kept an unhinged bride-to-be calm as we finalized all the cake plans. Our cake was personal and very special and DELICIOUS!!! Several years later, Cathy went out of her way to find me pictures of our cake as our photographer got horrible pics. She's a great lady who makes great cakes. You won't be disappointed!!!!!
