Ale is extremely professional, punctual, and down-to-earth. We set up a trail run before the wedding where she gave me honest advice on hairstyles for the potential hot weather and style of my dress, as well as tips for making my hair healthy and beautiful for the big day. We had a tight schedule the morning of the wedding, but she handled 5 bridesmaids, a bride, a mother-of-the-bride, and a flower girl without stress or flaws! Her personality is authentic and kind, which made the chaos of the morning of the wedding so much easier.

Ale is incredibly talented. I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my makeup for my wedding. She is attentive, thoughtful, and kind. She makes sure she takes her time and does a beautiful job. I highly recommend her and Glow Salon!

Ale is incredibly talented! She made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my big day and was able to execute Pinterest hair and makeup photos I found flawlessly. Seeing her bright and smiling face and chatting with her as I was getting my hair and makeup done the morning of was the perfect way to kick off my wedding day. I also really appreciated her willingness to travel to me. Looking forward to visiting her at her salon when it opens in Dayton, KY soon!

Ale did the hair and makeup for my wedding back in Sept of 2018, and though it has taken me wayyyy longer than intended to write this review, I was never going to skip it because brides need to know how amazing Ale is!! First of all, Ale is incredibly sweet, kind, knowledgeable about her craft, professional, and flat out fun to be around. She was so easy to work with and never left me with any doubts about her knowledge, skills or whether she would come through. I have some scarring on my face and she worked some serious magic and it was GONE on my wedding day. She also listened to everything I said about what I did and didn’t want for my wedding day look, and gave great advice, picked fantastic colors for my tone, and overall gave me exactly the look I envisioned. Even further, she was very open to any changes I wanted or if she tried something I didn’t like, she was very professional and did not dismiss my concerns or say I was wrong. She listened, adjusted and made recommendations based on what I was saying I wanted that worked out beautifully. Secondly, Ale was easily the most affordable hair and makeup provider I was able to find. The quotes I was getting from some MUA were INSANE. Ale was VERY reasonable for high quality work, and she did not nickel and dime me for things like traveling to my moms house the morning of, having a large wedding party, etc. Overall, do yourself a favor and contact Ale!! She will not let you down, and you will be the one writing this same review after your wedding day!

Ale was so great to work with! She was able to do hair and make-up for SEVERAL people in my party before my wedding and even got done EARLY! As someone that gets super flustered when things are running behind, this was prevented a lot of stress for me. Everyone looked great not only for the ceremony but for the whole night:) Definitely would go with her again!

You cannot get any better than Ale Lewis! She has been absolutely perfect since I first found her back in January. She did two different hair trials for me, and styled my hair and makeup for my engagement photos on top of my wedding look. She helped me make sure my hair was healthy and beautiful for my wedding. Ale and Adriana made all of my girls look fabulous on my wedding day. She's on time, prepared, and so affordable. She is such a fun girl and I have enjoyed getting to know her through this wedding process and would recommend her to anyone at anytime for anything. Ale truly truly is the best!!!!

Ale was the absolute best! It was 90+ degrees the day of my wedding and she still came out to the farm we were getting married at and was able to keep mine and all my girls hair from going crazy in the heat and humidity! I highly recommend her for all occasions!

Ale was my third trial stylist for my wedding in July. I wanted a complex style. During my trial with her I was obviously nervous that I wouldn’t find anyone who could do the style I really wanted. Ale was so professional, understanding and actually nailed the style I wanted. So I booked her for my wedding in August. She showed up early, got set up, and began doing my bridesmaids hair and makeup then did my hair and makeup. My pictures look amazing!!!

Ale was amazing to work with. She was early to arrive on my wedding day to set up and did a great job of taking care of all the bridesmaids and then carrying out my vision for my hair and makeup perfectly - not to mention she’s very affordable! She definitely went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, myself especially. I hurt my finger pretty badly the night before my big day and was panicked the morning of. She went as far as to have her mother-in-law who was a nurse drive to the hotel to take care of me while she worked to set up the space and get started on the girl’s hair and make up. I could not have asked for a more positive experience working with Ale.

Ale did such a great job with my bridal party hair and airbrush make up! Ale and my girls had the freedom to do whatever they wanted and every girl was so happy with how they looked! She even helped one of my girls cover up a tattoo she didn't want to show! Ale is truly talented and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My best friend is getting married in a few weeks and we booked her again for her wedding! ❤️

Ale was the BEST! When I went in for my first consultation she did an amazing job talking me through everything and even let me come in a second time when I just wasn't sure. The day of she and her partner did such a great job keeping everything moving and having fun with me and my wedding party. Her work is flawless and she is so much fun to work with! I had my wedding last weekend and I can not thank Ale Lewis enough for doing such an amazing job!! I absolutely loved my hair and make up and my bridesmaids looked flawless! One of my favorite parts of the entire day was seeing how beuatiful my mom looked after getting her makeup done. She doesnt usually wear a ton of makeup and Ale did an awesome job of keeping it simple but really highlighting her natural beatuy! Ale was so flexible, accomodation and easy to work with! Ale and her sister did the hair and makeup for my November wedding. They were so professional, respectful, and knowledgeable about their craft. Ale sculpted each girl’s hair into a masterpiece that was exactly what I had envisioned and stuck to the photos I showed her. Ale also used airbrush makeup on each of the girls, she took into consideration each of their complexions and ensured that they did not look “overdone.” I would HIGHLY recommend Ale for your wedding!

I loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day! Airbrush is AMAZING...it looks flawless and feels so light, and it stays put! Best of all, Ale was the most affordable hair/make up artist that I found, and I did not have to sacrifice quality. I also really appreciated that she came to the place I was getting ready, even though it was just me (my bridesmaids did their own). Most other salons/stylists only do this if you have a large group getting their hair/makeup done. I did a trial with Ale and we played around with different lip colors, and she easily received feedback about my hair and came up with perfect solutions. Couldn't have been happier!

I was in awe with everything Ale did for the bride and the bridesmaids! We felt like princesses for the big day. I will always go back to Ale for makeup and hair whenever I need it done. There was nothing I didn't love about Ale's talent, professionalism and punctuality.

Ale did my hair and makeup for my niece's wedding. I was a bit self conscious because I am over 50 years old and I am not used to wearing makeup but Ale made me feel and look beautiful. I received so many compliments that I wish she could do my hair and makeup every day. I highly recommend her!

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Ale! I was a part of a wedding where she did the makeup and hair, and we looked incredible. Our makeup photographed so well. I got so many compliments on my look that day and night! Honestly, I've never felt more beautiful than the way she made me look. She has such a great and positive energy about her, too. She makes everyone in the room feel comfortable about their goals for their look, but she also takes initiative with her own plan if you don't have one in mind. She can literally do it all, and you will not be disappointed. If you want to look and feel flawless on your wedding day, or any other special occasion, BOOK ALE. That's all I have to say.

Ale is surpassing of any expectations. She has done my make up so many times for all my special events (proms, photoshoots, weddings & more). She has such a good eye for beauty & creativity & she treats everyone with such grace and respect. You can tell she really just wants to spread joy and she knows that looking good can make people feel good. Ale did such a great job with my bridal party make up. My girls slayed! I gave my girls and ale free range to do whatever they pleased and Ale did exactly what they asked. She even contoured me the day of my wedding. I saw a YouTube tutorial of a girl countouring her chest and arms for a slimmer and defined look and Ale did even better than what I imagined. It's the little things she perfects. Anyone can pick up a brush and paint, but what separates Ale is that she listens and gives you exactly what YOU want and perfects it.
