Sam Hugh Photography

Sam took the time to get to know me and my fiancé and totally got our vibe. It was clear that he had studied my wedding photography Pinterest board, had seen and understood my vision for wedding photos that were more elevated and editorial than typical wedding photographs. We have gotten non-stop compliments on our wedding photos but more importantly, my fiancé and I LOVE them. They are the perfect representation of us. And now for businessy things: Sam was punctual, always on time (usually early!) for everything from initial calls to the actual day of. He was SO polite and patient when our relatives were being annoying and asking him to take a photo on their iPhones. (eye roll, sorry Sam!!!) He was great a corralling the crowd for group portraits and he was not intrusive at all during the ceremony. Honestly, I kind of forget he was even there. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and we felt really lucky to get to have him on our wedding. TLDR: Sam slayed this and I would recommend him to everyone.

Your wedding day will most likely be the fastest day of your life, and the most monumental (it was for my husband and me). It’s almost too good to be true: your favorite people in the entire world are all in one place to celebrate your covenant to your favorite person in the world. Sam is a photographer who is sensitive to the significance of the occasion you are celebrating, and creates beautiful images you will cherish for a lifetime. You hardly noticed him, and yet he was always there at the right time. He is friendly and easy to work with, and was very generous with his time on our day. We love our photos!

Sam was our photographer and he did a great job! He was very compromising and worked great with my family and the wedding party. From the pictures we have seen so far, they look amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture the special moments. We would definitely recommend him in the future.

This is based on experience since I have yet to see my pictures. Sam is so creative and fun! I was such a great thing knowing that I can trust my photographer to do a great job. I have no doubt the pictures will be great!!

Being a bride with Sam was a wonderful experience. Not only are his photos amazing, but he listens to what you would like, is super friendly and comfortable to be with. His shoots are fun and casual and is such a hard worker at the reception. You won't be sorry!

I must start this review by saying that I have know Sam Le, of Sunny 16 Photography, for many years as a personal friend. That being said, I can tell you that I know few people who love their jobs and approach it with such passion and zeal. He is constantly improving, researching and learning. Truly, one can see his love for photography in his work. When considering a photographer for our wedding, I researched other people who I thought might be up to our standards, but never found anyone as great as Sam. If you want someone who will tell your love story, go with him. You will not get cheesy canned photos, but photos that really show the love and joy that is present on a wedding day. All of my family and friends are continually amazed by his work and I know we will enjoy and cherish these one of a kind photos for a very long time.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sam Le at Sunny 16 Photography. I was referred to him by another photographer and when I saw this picture (http://www.sunny16photos.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Wedding-112.jpg), I knew he was the one! Sam is personable, professional, talented, and dedicated to YOUR BEST WEDDING. Both our families loved him and can't stop talking about how great the pictures are. Sam's assistant was amazing, too. They made everything so easy for us. In our first meeting, I learned that Sam used to be a sushi chef. The notion of presenting something that will soon be just a memory in the most beautiful, memorable way translates well to photography. We are ever-impressed by Sam's attention to detail, even down to the personalized packaging that our photos came in. Photographers really are the eyes of the bride and groom, capturing all the things that you planned, but didn't have the time to stop and appreciate in the whirlwind of the wedding day. My husband and I did not have to stress, because we trusted Sam completely. He exceeded our expectations on every level. That was a great lesson in hiring the right people and letting them do their jobs. Sam at Sunny 16 is the right people!! I enthusiastically recommend him and can't wait to work with him again.
