Shore Acres is a lakeside wedding reception venue located in North Hero, VT. This down-to-earth inn adorns a countryside aesthetic throughout the property, to make couples and their guests feel welcome during their wedding weekend. Its emerald green lawns and cozy accommodations make for an ideal place for you to succeed your nuptial vision. This venue is located just 30 miles north of Burlington, on an island in Lake Champlain that’s easily accessible by car. The inn was first opened in 1951, to serve both residents and seasonal travelers. Throughout the decades of hosting visitors, it has been carefully renovated and updated to maintain its original glory. It now acts as a picturesque place for soon-to-be-weds to enjoy their special moments away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With 50 acres of rolling grounds, and half a mile of private lakeshore, Shore Acres can accommodate events with up to 350 guests. Soon-to-be-weds can place their wedding arch on the open lawns, and have views of Lake Champlain and Green Mountains as their backdrop. The inn’s restaurant features rustic decor, natural wood architecture, and large windows for you and your loved ones to dine with a view. Dressing suites are also present, for you and your wedding party to prepare for the altar in luxury. Shore Acres has a total of 23 rooms to choose from, each one being carefully designed for extra comfort. Bartenders will be present, to care for all your guests’ beverage needs throughout the night. In addition, the team’s executive chef, Dan Rainville, will be ready to serve you his high-quality entrees and desserts during your special day.
