Woodinville Lavender

I can't recommend getting married at Woodinville Lavender enough! It is an extremely beautiful venue, but the owner Tom is what makes it even more amazing. He is extremely experienced with wedding planning, responsive, professional, organized, and so helpful, offering many suggestions and keeping us on track with planning throughout the year. Without him, I wouldn't have thought of many things that ended up being key in making our day go so well. He has great relationships with many vendors and did an amazing job coordinating our day, which went absolutely seamlessly. There is no outdoor venue more beautiful or with so many other perks than Woodinville Lavender in the Seattle area. I am already trying to think of another life event that I can use as a reason to book this venue again!

We could not have asked for anything more from Tom and Brenda and their incredible venue.  The lavender fields, the rest of the garden, the landscaping, lawn games, location, facilities, and the available parking was all absolutely incredible  We booked the lavender farm sight unseen back in Jan. 2021 after our 4 person 2020 Covid wedding and it was absolutely the perfect location for our wedding and Tom provided us with all the support and help that we needed for the day. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the location and several weeks later we still have guests saying how incredible the venue was and how they felt like they were in Provence.  We had an extremely last minute family medical emergency where the bride’s parents were unable to attend (who were the local in laws and in charge of set up!!) and all our family and friends pulled together to get everything set up in time and Tom and Brenda were absolutely incredible and made sure that everything came together. We have had plenty of guests note how Tom was quietly and effectively making sure that thing were running smoothly and making sure our guests had a great time. Prior to the day, Tom provided a great support helping us stay organized and keep our planning on track, and he gave us helpful guidance on decisions we need to make based on his experience and observations from other couples who he has helped.   Overall we would recommend Tom & Woodinville Lavender farm without hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The only thing we would do differently is to book the venue for twice as long as no one wanted to leave!!!

Our wedding in one word: Romantic. We could not have picked a better venue or had the privilege to work with a better wedding day of coordinator for our big day!! Tom and Woodinville Lavender team went above and beyond to make our day magical and memorable!

In late 2019 we decided on Woodinville Lavender as the venue for our wedding. However, our original date of June 2020 had to be postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. Tom was incredible to work with, and helped us coordinate postponing the event not once, not twice, but three times due to everything going on with COVID. Throughout the entirety of the planning Tom continued to check in with us, and help us ensure that everything was on track and ready to go. Tom's suggestions for vendors were all excellent and on point, and he had great insights and ideas to help make our day perfect. He was helpful without us feeling like he was pressuring us in any way. His experience and expertise was invaluable throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, the venue was BEAUTIFUL. Tom was just present enough to ensure that everything ran smoothly, without interfering with the event in any way. During the ceremony he helped coordinate the music and it worked wonderfully. Throughout the wedding he covertly checked in, making sure that we didn’t need anything more. We cannot thank Tom enough for going above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was exactly the way we wanted it to go. It was literally perfect. If you’re looking for a venue to host a special event we cannot recommend Woodinville Lavender enough.

Woodinville Lavender is the best venue for a PNW wedding! The lavender is stunning when in bloom, as is the rest of the property. There is a little something for everyone at this venue- a patio, rooms for the wedding party to get ready in, beautiful views, ample parking, and lawn games for your big day. Tom is wonderful to work with- he is organized, prompt, and will jump in to help with anything you may need at any time. He recommended many of our vendors to us which made it all so easy and stress-free the day of the wedding. Our day turned out perfectly and we know that is largely due to Tom's organizational skills (as well as a taking over the role of day of coordinator). Book this venue, you will not regret it!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Woodinville Lavender Farms, and it was such a memorable experience. Everything turned out beautifully, and we really felt that Tom (the owner) went above and beyond to ensure our day turned out perfectly. He was very organized and thorough in the planning process, and ensures that all details of your event have been addressed prior to the day of. The property is pristinely manicured and so stunning when the lavender is blooming. We would 100% recommend this venue for any and all occasions!

Woodinville Lavender is a beautiful venue. It's the perfect setting for an intimate, summer outdoor wedding but what sets it apart from other beautiful venues is the owner Tom. He provided impeccable service - he is detail oriented, accommodating, and caring. He let us drop all of our decor the day before during our rehearsal, allowed us to use extra bags of ice he had in his freezer chest, rescheduled our wedding date for free even though it didn't really fit into his free rescheduling criteria written in the contract (newly implemented quarantine policy for int'l travelers would've prevented half our guests from attending, including my husband's immediate family - so it wasn't that we couldn't proceed with our scheduled date but Tom was understanding), brought out heat lamps when it got chilly at night (we didn't even know he had those) and was just constantly doing things behind the scenes the day of to ensure everything ran smoothly. I could go on about how fantastic Tom was. Bottom line, I highly recommend Woodinville Lavender to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding.

Our experience with Tom and the Woodinville Lavender Farm was nothing but exceptional. Tom is incredibly organized, accommodating, reasonable and amazing to work with. His venue is spacious, gorgeous and is truly the most magical place to get married. Our wedding was better than our wildest dreams and I cannot recommend him and his venue enough. Woodinville Lavender was the first and only venue we visited for our wedding. As soon as we saw the venue, we knew it was perfect for us. The farm was so beautiful, unique and very well maintained. Our guests were commenting on how beautiful the venue was and loved taking pictures with the lavender. The owner, Tom, is the best to work with and helped us with everything throughout the planning process. He periodically checked in on us and provided checklists to make sure we were on track for the wedding day. He also provided vendor contract reviews which was so helpful, since he knew exactly what to look for. We had to keep up with the ever-changing COVID restrictions, but Tom kept us up to date and was very flexible when changes needed to be made. He truly made the planning process so easy and stress-free. We can't say enough good things about Woodinville Lavender. They made our wedding day so special. I would highly recommend checking them out!

My husband and I recently had our wedding/reception at Woodinville Lavender. The grounds were meticulously groomed, and we received countless compliments on the beauty and uniqueness of the venue. I worked closely with owner Tom Frei prior to the big day. He was also my day of coordinator. Tom is the most organized person I have ever met. He made planning and executing our event feel effortless. Tom is an absolute pro. He did everything from coordinating with our band, to coming up with a backup rain plan and even politely advising our officiant on how not to photobomb our "I do" kiss. I was blown away by his professionalism and knowledge. I can't say enough good things about Woodinville Lavender, how gorgeous it is, and how special they made our event!

What an experience. 2020 was a difficult time to get married with the COVID pandemic happening. We originally planned to have a large rustic wedding, but were forced to change our plans due to the restrictions. We ended up having a microwedding and decided to choose a high end wedding venue with a prime rib and salmon dinner. Woodinville Lavender helped us through everything! They went above and beyond what we could have expected from any venue. They helped us pick out a customized tent and even installed a chandelier in it that we ended up putting in the entryway of our new house! I can’t stress enough how perfect our experience was. It was a dream come true. The venue is so meticulously maintained, it was absolutely beautiful. I would strongly recommend this wedding venue at any time, pandemic or not. Look them up and go see the grounds for yourself!

We had an incredible experience working with Woodinville Lavender for our picture perfect venue. Tom is absolutely amazing! He provided more than just a beautiful place to make memories and really worked with us to make sure everything and every vendor was aligned to take some worry out of our day. We had our wedding at Woodinville Lavender in August 2020. As anyone could imagine, planning a wedding is not an easy feat. And it became a whole new challenge during these difficult times. It was a roller coaster ride with the changes in the guidelines due to the pandemic. We are so grateful to Tom. He was amazing throughout the entire process. We could have never imagined that we would have a fairytale wedding because of what was happening. And of course, the place was magical. The first time we went there we were already in love with the place sans the lavenders. But this summer with the lavenders in bloom, the greenhouse, the tiny details all over the place made everything enthralling. We would definitely recommend Woodinville Lavender! And if we would do it all over again, we won’t hesitate to come back here. Beyond thankful for everything that Tom had done. You are the best!

My now husband and I were able to have our wedding at the beautiful Woodinville Lavender farm in the middle of Covid! Tom was so very kind and helpful with the many unknowns of a pandemic wedding. We are so happy to have held our wedding at Woodinville Lavender! Even though my husband and I got married just after the end of lavender season, the grounds are still remarkable! Everything is picture perfect and truly lovely! Working with Tom to plan our wedding was easily the number one stress-reducing decision we made. He ensures everything is as transparent and worry-free as possible, as is quick to respond to any questions or concerns throughout the planning process. During the various planning meetings, Tom will coordinate rentals, ceremony and reception layouts, and day-of logistics with vendors and guests and he has many, many weddings under his belt. His experience alone is invaluable! On the day-of, we were able to trust everything would be handled as we specified. Despite a historic lightning storm during our reception at a primarily outdoor venue, Tom kept everything running smoothly. He was flexible and prepared with a rain set-up plan and heaters. If he was concerned about the storm, he sure didn’t let me know about it! He’s a total pro and we are so grateful that we were able to celebrate our wedding here!

We celebrated our wedding at Woodinville Lavender and could not be happier with our experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and Tom, the proprietor, was a pleasure to meet and work with as we prepared our special day. Tom was all too happy to run through the various options that the venue could afford us, including indoor and outdoor options, as well as various placements of the ceremony and reception areas. So many options to choose from! We had roughly 80 people at our wedding and the venue was more than large enough to accommodate everyone. The four lavender fields were in full bloom and were the perfect backdrop for pictures to be taken to forever capture the magical day and location. My husband and I got married at Woodinville Lavender a few weeks ago and everything about the venue and the day was absolutely perfect! We fell in love with the venue from the first time we visited. Tom, the owner and event manager, was very organized and he offered great suggestions for how to set up the venue. He is quick to respond to both email and phone communication which especially comes in handy when all of the last minute questions start rolling in the week before the wedding. I also appreciated the detailed checklists and timelines Tom emailed to us before and after each planning meeting. Even though the venue is not open for anyone to walk in at any time, Tom was very accommodating every time we asked to stop by. My in-laws are from out of the country and he graciously allowed us to stop by to show them the venue when they were in town visiting. Not only does Tom provide outstanding service, but it is also evident that he takes great pride in the venue as well. The grounds and facilities looked pristine the day of our wedding and our guests were so in awe of how beautiful the venue was. Last week, July 7th, my husband and the most picturesque wedding reception at Woodinville Lavender. Tom is a wonderful organizer. His cheerful, calm, and collected personality kept me focused on enjoying the beautiful venue with my friends and family and not worrying about the many wedding logistics. He took care of everything. The lavender was in full bloom and was absolutely magnificent; thinking about it now brings a smile to my face. Eighty of our family and friends enjoyed a perfect day and we are very thankful for Woodinville Lavender for making it EXTRA special. Thank you, Tom!

Our wedding in June 2019 couldn't have gone any smoother! The venue is beautiful and Tom, the owner, is super organized and helps make the entire evening go wonderfully! While I don't plan on ever organizing a wedding again, I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone who's looking for a small, intimate, gorgeous venue to celebrate a very special day.

Picking the venue was the first thing I accomplished in wedding planning. I really wanted to evoke the lavender fields of Provence, France, and I'm so glad I discovered Tom's gorgeous farm in Woodinville. It was the perfect setting! Tom and his wife tend to the lavender farm themselves, and the pride they have shows in the beauty of their landscape. All the guests loved the lavender gardens and the farm grounds. The children at the wedding had a great time playing outside. As for planning with Tom, I did everything from out of town as the venue was a destination for me. He was easily reachable by email or phone. He's very organized and will help the couple keep track of meetings and payment schedules. He was very flexible with us mailing checks a couple days after the deadline -- we let him know by email to expect it within a few days, and he'll confirm. He was the conductor that helped organize my great orchestra of vendors. He reviewed some of my rental invoices and helped me save money by correcting the tax rate to the lower Redmond percentage on one of our rental orders (which also helped me save on my catering order!). A few other kind gestures he did was store our wine purchased for the reception several weeks in advance and keep some wedding decor at the farm for buyers to pick up after the fact. All in all, Tom and his gorgeous lavender fields are excellent choices for a couple looking for a small, more intimate wedding venue (guest max is 80 persons).

Me and my husband Paul had an incredibly magical wedding day at Woodinville Lavender! From the moment we met Tom the owner, we knew that he genuinely cared, was very organized and had wonderful suggestions and helped us decide in all our indecisive moments. He is an incredibly kind man with a calm demeanor, any bride to be would feel calm and confident on her big day. We had a wedding that everyone in the family keeps talking about! The day before our wedding we picked up lavender from Tom for our bouquets and dried lavender that we made into lavender lemonade! The lavender fields were so beautiful even in August and we danced under twinkling lights of the green house and porch. It honestly was more perfect than we ever expected.

We had our wedding in late June 2018 and everything was magical. The venue is STUNNING and the owner (Tom) maintains it so well and is so detail oriented. Our guests are still talking about how it was the most beautiful venue they've seen. As for Tom, he really was such a joy to work with and I believe really was a key to everything running smoothly on my wedding day. Tom is informative, prompt, and calm. I can't tell you how many emails I've sent him throughout the year+ leading up to the wedding...and he's answered every email with patience and thoughtfulness. He REALLY tries to make things perfect for you day, and if its within his control, he makes it happen (I once joked about getting a llama and he even tried to entertain that..). Visits with him were always easy-he is there promptly and prepared with all necessary materials. I'm not detail oriented and was awful at the entire planning process...Tom made up for a lot of this. As for my wedding day, Tom was everywhere and anywhere without being intrusive. He checked in with both my husband and I throughout the day. I would often see him out of the corner of my eye doing random things like fixing a door, mopping the dance floor because someone spilled bubbles, and even finding a solution to our caterer's broken coffee machine! Brides (and grooms), I don't say this lightly and I mean every word of this (I'm also not sure if Tom would appreciate this haha), but I would honestly not hire a day of coordinator had I known how excellent Tom would be throughout the planning and on the day of. He was THAT great. Also, most of my vendors had experience working with Tom and had only praise. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this venue to anyone. I hope to hold other events here some day because its just that mind-blowing. To Tom and Woodinville Lavender-thank you thank you thank you!

We had our wedding here in June 2018 and it was so dreamy. The venue and the owner (Tom) exceeded expectations every step of the way. It was very easy to make an initial appointment to check out the space and as soon as we got there, met Tom, and toured the property, we knew this was it. We put down a deposit that day to hold the date. After each planning meeting, Tom sent us a detailed recap of the decisions we made and action items to follow-up on. This made it really easy to check off the to do's as there ARE SO MANY when planning a wedding. Tom was friendly, responsive, and organized. The wedding day itself was fantastic. Everything went smoothly and without a hitch*. We even got to do a sparkler exit (which many venues don't allow!). Loved having a clean and spacious Bridal Room with it's own bathroom. The weather was perfect, the ceremony setup, the tent setup... everything was beautiful. We loved it so much we're hoping to host something else here in the future- maybe an anniversary party or baby shower? If you're thinking about hosting your wedding here and you have less than 80 guests, this is a gorgeous venue. *I found out later there was an issue with my florist and Tom and my wedding planner (Krisanna) helped to troubleshoot and problem solve. I had no idea there was a problem until after the wedding! Thank you!

Tom is wonderful to work with! This place is so amazingly beautiful and you immediately smell lavender as soon as you step onto the grounds. Tom does everything to make sure your wedding is perfect. Beautiful venue, wonderful people. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Lavender farm on July 8th of 2017. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue, its was truly picture perfect. Tom was easy to work with from beginning to end - he was always there to answer questions via email or phone, and he let us swing by the venue the week of to choose exactly where we wanted the ceremony! He took care of all the vendor coordination and had helpful tips in terms of choosing tables and chairs. He also managed to get us a tent for free!! This was such a welcomed surprise and allowed us the freedom to host the entire ceremony/reception outdoors, rather than utilizing the valley room. There are a couple of things I wish I'd have done differently; for one, listening to Tom about the DJ/music situation. I sprung for a DJ and while it was fine, it really wasn't necessary and I could have saved money by simply using Tom's setup. The intimacy of the venue and the size of our event didn't lend itself to much dancing - most people enjoyed the numerous seated areas, walked around the fields, and played the lawn games (definitely rent the lawn games from Tom!). I would have stuck with the preferred florist; I took a chance on a smaller business and it just didn't turn out as I wanted. The flowers were all wrong. The preferred florist, Fena Flowers is slow to communicate but I think Tom's chosen them as a preferred business for a reason, he clearly trusts their work. We stuck with a preferred caterer, and that turned out fantastic! The Bride room is incredibly handy, I was camped out in there with my HMUA all morning. It's secluded and roomie, a great addition to the venue as a whole.

Woodinville Lavender is truly a hidden gem. The lavender fields are absolutely beautiful and so serene, best place to hold a ceremony & reception! Tom was great at making sure all my questions were answered and everything was exactly how we wanted it. Him and his wife take amazing care of the place! It was absolutely a perfect day, soaking in all the beauty of the lavender! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We had our wedding at Woodinville Lavender in June, 2017, and we were so happy with every aspect of the venue and its owner, Tom. Not only are the grounds well kept and perfectly situated in the heart of the Hollywood district of Woodinville's wine country, but Tom guided us through everything. He facilitated table, chair, and tent rentals AND he set them up for us the day before the wedding. So we didn't have to worry about anything! He was always timely with invoices and meetings. All of our guests were enchanted with the property and had a great time!
