We worked very closely with Paul for 10 months leading up to our wedding. We covered every single detail of the wedding and were confident his staff would deliver.
We were told we would have a supervisor overseeing our wedding. 2 weeks be...fore the wedding, we found out that Paul would be our supervisor. We were ecstatic! Having worked so closely with him, we were sure that everything would go exactly as we had discussed because he was the one who would be running the show.
We were wrong.
Paul disappeared in the middle of our wedding, leaving his staff unsupervised. We were supposed to have been brought plates of food and drinks during picture time (since we were not going to make it to cocktail hour) - that never happened. Later, after asking some guests how certain food was, we discovered that some of the food we planned for was not even served.
At dinner, guests were rudely told they could not have more than 2 strips of meat because there was not enough food. In reality, my aunt had seen the staff doing more than just sampling our dinner. They were eating full plates of our food.
The tables were not set completely. The favors were misplaced and never made it to the tables. Someone found them and put them on the cake table, so only guests who got cake took home a favor.
Speaking of the cake, when the time came to cut the cake, no one was there to help my husband and I.
The staff did not wash the glasses quickly enough, so my guests were served drinks in red solo cups, like we were at a college frat party.
As excited as I was - and confident that Paul could deliver everything he promised - I was really disappointed.
