l this equals an email to Devyn Leigh Events for some direction (and solace!) and we were on our way! From punctuality, ease of access, to the listening/emailing of many requests/questions, Devyn handled it all with competence and helpful suggestions. Because we had a lot of things, by necessity, already put in place when we met with her, Devyn proved to be an attentive listener and respectful of our wishes, while offering other things to consider. I believe the thing I recall most was her non-stressful and peaceful demeanor, and the clam she brought to the pre-wedding activities which was evident throughout the evening. Devyn has our recommendation!

Devyn has gone above and beyond for my wife and I for our wedding from narrowing down caterers and vendors to helping us figure out what tablecloths to get. Devyn is an amazing planner with great ideas and dreams. If you want to have a wedding that you and your bride are proud of and takes your breath away, you want Devyn. Having Devyn on our side de-stressed my bride-to-be, which in turned helped me to focus on other ways to support the bride-to-be that wasn't about the wedding.

If I had an idea I would ask for her opinion and she would give me an answer even if she didn’t like the idea (which I respect to the absolute fullest- she is the professional and that is her job). I was having communication issues with family and she offered to be the buffer so I would not have to stress and believe me I wanted to several times. I did not have a florist so she recommended one and I was not disappointed (she was also great). It was very easy to get ahold of Devyn the whole process, I even think she had to flag me down a couple times to talk about linens etc. All meeting were very productive. I left feeling accomplished leaving with a big smile.At the rehearsal dinner she had a timeline for the day of, printed out for bridal party, which went very smooth. The day of went perfect. She and Emily were so busy and managed to have everything under control, they were a great team. She was so kind to give me a emergency kit that had everything I needed. My husband uses the box to store his things in it :) I think that customer service has gone downhill, but my faith in it was restored. Devyn is so kind, professional and really just helped me through the entire process. It was stress free for me and it’s all thanks to her. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner.

o reschedule and replan our entire wedding. During that time, Devyn went above and beyond for us. She was a literal GODSEND. When all the vendors were waffling and our venue told us basically to figure things out ourselves, she was there. Not only that, but she was poised, professional, and positive through it all. My highest recommendation goes to Devyn. You would be very lucky to have someone as stellar as her there with you on your wedding day. That girl is going to go places.

tc. She helped narrow down vendor options and gave a brief professional overview of the vendors so we didn’t have to research everything. Talking with Devyn about ideas and my preference for the decor was amazing! We used a software system that helped us stay in sync on my dream wedding. When it came to any questions I had about weddings, Devyn walked me through any processes I didn’t understand and she gave me great feedback on our questions. I couldn’t have imagine any other planner to work with; Devyn goes above and beyond for clients and she becomes your friend during this important time in your life. If I ever want to renew my vows, I know who to contact.

I would highly recommend hiring Devyn to make your event memorable, whether that be for a wedding or any other gathering!

to address were taken care of. Since we live far from Charlotte, she was the life-saving 'point person' on the ground to makes sure that everything was in place for the decor to come together. Overall, she was very patient with all of our requests and very helpful, from the first day we started working until the sorting out next steps for the last decor item. I think she is going to be doing this more and more, but I do wish that Devyn had more of her own decor pieces that we could rent from her for the day instead of having to figure out what to do to dispose of stuff from a long distance. We did rent one piece, though, and it worked great! I also thought the budget tracking spreadsheet used for the decor was a little hard to follow, so it was hard to really understand what was happening in the budget with each addition and subtraction of an item. On the day of planning, we were working with a limited budget, so we were incredibly thankful that this was an option, and it worked out great. Devyn was very proactive in making sure she had all the necessary details for the big day, and she and her assistant were very helpful in keeping everything running and making any necessary in-the-moment adjustments. If you have the budget, she can do even more like make your timeline and take over vendor communication (what a dream!), but we just couldn't swing it. I highly recommend Devyn for both services, and she does give a discount for bundling, though if you're local and at all interested I think many people would prefer to manage the decor themselves (I wasn't and I wasn't :-P).

We are so grateful for Devyn and her expertise, our wedding weekend was just perfect and we can’t thank her enough for her instrumental part in it all! She was able to go with the flow on our wedding day as needed and helped make our guests feel welcome and informed about where to go for what and at what time. Although we only used her services for day-of wedding coordination I feel confident that she would have delivered excellent services for planning as she referenced her other weddings with similar aesthetic to ours along with her relationships with local vendors where our wedding was located. For reference, we had our wedding in the backyard of the groom’s parent’s house in Davidson, NC. We had about 200 guests and our look was simple, yet elegant with lots of whites, creams, candles, and greenery. Thanks again Devyn and Emily for all your dedication to making our big day go off without a hitch!
