Cakes & Gourmet Goodies, formerly Dream Bakery, has been making sweet dreams come true in Austin and the surrounding areas since 2005. As a retail bakery with a ghost kitchen in the Austin area, we are able to offer an extensive menu that includes wedding cakes, grooms cakes, cupcakes, cake balls, cookies, brownies, tarts, cheesecakes, and other desserts. We also offer brunch items and gift baskets for the days before or after your occasion. We even offer gluten-free (in a dedicated kitchen), vegan, and low-carb/sugar-free/keto-friendly options (because everyone deserves some sweetness in their life)!
Our friendly staff will help you design the perfect cake or dessert table, whether you are looking for simple elegance, over-the-top glam, or something truly unique. (We love a challenge!) And our talented team of cake decorators has many years of experience creating both buttercream and fondant cakes that taste every bit as good as they look.
Finding the right cake should be one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding planning experience, and we want to make it easy! Full tasting consultations are available by appointment. Or, if you know what you want and just need to check the "cake" box, you can send us an inspiration picture and make arrangements to pick up a tasting box to enjoy at your leisure. We'll follow up with a phone call to confirm all the details, and you'll be on your way. On a strict budget? Ask about our semi-custom packages. We appreciate that every couple has different priorities and will do our very best to find a dessert option that meets your needs!

We are a bakery, that makes both gluten-free (in a dedicated gf space) and conventional (in a separate kitchen). That said, we make cakes, specialty cakes, cookies, fudge, bite-sized desserts, and cookie cakes that are indulgent and delicious. We strive to make beautiful cakes that are also scrumptious. Our main goal is to bring a little extra joy to your celebration, by making a lovely cake or an exciting cake, to help you celebrate your special day. We also offer cakesicles, slices of cake, and even to-go sample cake boxes, for those who would like the experience of having cake, but don't need an entire cake. Or for those that want individual portions for the guests, instead of a whole cake. For large parties such as weddings, we make tiered cakes, un-tiered cakes, and dessert tables. We would love to help make your special day perfect!
