n since it is so beautiful on its own. BK venues is also so easy to work with and very flexible on what you want to do with the space. We had 125 people and the space was great for that size, we were worried it was going to feel too big, but it was perfect! We absolutely loved our wedding here and can't picture having our wedding anywhere else!

npoint Loft we knew it was the venue for us. The team at BK venues are great to work with and are very responsive. We were engaged just before the pandemic and prior to booking we were able to view the venue via zoom and in person. They were also very accommodating when any of our vendors needed to see the space. The area around the venue is great. Prior to the wedding we got to spend time in the area and loved it. As mentioned in the other reviews ..this is a raw space and you have to handle all the other vendors ie catering etc. But we used most of the vendors on the vendors list which helped a great deal.

p it simple with just string lights and it will also be awe-inspiring! The upstairs loft and outdoor terrace are perfect for cocktail hour and make for a dramatic photo shoot for guests. Adam, the on-site manager, was helpful and very responsive whenever we or our vendor team needed him. Our guests loved the space and we did both the ceremony and reception here. Easy to do on-site catering as well with the kitchen set-up and they also provide a good number of high tops, tables and chairs in the rental fee. (One note for brides with any sort of dress with a train or long length dress — hold it off the floor before your ceremony! It WILL get dirty from the wood floor! Given the rough nature of the space, not a ton to do about it and it’s not horrible, but it will be noticeable after the night is over. Just factor in a dress cleaning.) We loved our venue choice and can’t recommend the Greenpoint Loft enough!

I'd highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a great venue. Multiple guests came up to us to tell us how beautiful the space was, and all we did was have some twinkly lights hung, the rest was just the character of the place and the amazing view. Plus all our vendors were familiar with the venue, which also really helped in terms of making the evening smooth.

piece band and large dance floor - Adam and Laura were fantastic to work with - they accommodated several planning visits and two vendor meetings- their recommendations for vendors was extremely helpful- although the main elevator unexpectedly went out of order they quickly developed an alternative to get our guests upstairs- the venue and the magnificent views made our family wedding so special and a treat for so many of our guests who had never been to NYC

I worked with Adam at BK Venues and he was incredibly responsive for an entire year leading up to my wedding. He helped me book multiple walk throughs. BK Venues helps you by providing a vendor list, but don't require you use their people. They are very flexible and accommodating.

u have a great amount of creative liberty with the decor and flow of your wedding. We loved it from the moment we first saw it, and it was the perfect place for our wedding- we are incredibly happy with our choice of venue.

We were planning the wedding ourselves (with the help of a wedding day-of coordinator, Stephanie Gatton, who is the best) and wanted a unique space that would “speak for itself.” We found it in The Greenpoint Loft and MUCH more. Our guests are still raving about the space and the breathtaking view of Manhattan from the outdoor patio (I don’t know how this is even possible but it’s even more beautiful in person). The staff at BK Venues is also fantastic! We had a great time working with Adam, who always responded to our emails within minutes. Excellent staff, incredible space. We couldn’t be happier!

g with me and answered every single question I had!! Our guests gave us rave reviews on the venue alone!! They loved the upstairs loft that overlooked the main floor as well as the rooftop that overlooks the city! The venue is just gorgeous!! The bathrooms and both bridal suites were just recently updated and provided more than enough room to get ready in! There's a kitchen, a bar, and even a coat room! The location is perfect too--plenty of street parking for our guests!! Overall, my husband and I are so happy we chose the Greenpoint Loft for our wedding ceremony and reception and we intend on using that space again in the future for other events!!!

s SO much you can do with the space. Can get overwhelming! You truly can make it your own though and show off your personalities and styles ...more than most other places out there, it's basically a blank canvas. The location was outstanding, people were blown away by view on the rooftop and were so surprised there is spot like that so close to the city. If you're into a total DIY wedding or have the funds to hire a team to make it all happen this place is magical and worth every penny. The only reason I'm not giving it the full 5 stars is because it's not perfect. They tell you the AC is great in the summer but it's a huge space so it just doesn't really get the job done. The stairs leading to the second room/rooftop are really wonky, totally uneven and we know someone from a previous event there who sprained an ankle on them so there's that added stress (we had kids and a few very old guests attending so we were worried). The elevator up to the venue is as 'Brooklyn' as it gets and luckily on our wedding day it didn't get stuck but when we were visiting once it did and that was scary. The day of security team was AWESOME and they put us at ease they would keep an eye on the elevator etc. The staff from the GP loft (BK Venues) was hot and cold. We had Adam help us most of the way and he was really pleasant. However good luck getting in there for site visits! They require you to do a walk thru with your caterer before the wedding and they won't let you in weeknights or weekends which is close to impossible if you have a 9-5 job. I was able to schedule an early Saturday morning visit planned months in advance and when I got there everything was locked, the bathroom and bridal suites. when I called BK Venues, I was greeted with the biggest attitude when I asked if someone could come open the bathroom for my florist who traveled over an hour on the subway. I remember her name but won't blast her on here- just a warning that some of the staff act as though they're doing you a favor by letting you have your event there, I guess since it's such a desired location (not cheap tho thats for sure!!!) Overall the location itself was so perfect for us and our guests loved it. Another pointer is to keep an eye out for events open to the public there to get a feel for it when there are decorations and actual people filling up the space. (look at Greenpointers.com) My parents were on the fence when we showed it to them but we brought them back during a seasonal flea market there and it changed their opinion immediately and saw our vision.
